Cases resolved at preliminary hearings

Four guilty pleas were entered Wednesday while charges were withdrawn against one during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

Ashley L. Good, 31, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and public drunkenness were not prosecuted.

Justin M. Johnson, 33, Warren, to theft by unlawful taking.

Nathan C. Johnson, 40, Tidioute, to possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, fraudulent use of a registration plate and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of operating a vehicle without valid inspection, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession/sale/use of display documents and driving an unregistered vehicle were withdrawn. Charges of driving on a suspended license, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility and driving an unregistered vehicle were re-categorized as traffic offenses.

Jacob C. Jordan, 34, Warren, to possession of marijuana. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance were withdrawn.

A count of fraud to alter title/registration or insurance was withdrawn against Precious L. Reiner, 18, Warren. Charges of driving on a suspended license, operating a vehicle without valid inspection and driving an unregistered vehicle were re-categorized as traffic offenses.
