Endangerment. Jacob C. Kessing, 24, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on May 5 with endangering the welfare of children and restraint systems from an incident that occurred on May 1 in the City of Warren.
Defiant trespass. Maddison R. Thomson, 21, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on May 5 with defiant trespass from an incident that occurred on May 1 in the City of Warren.
N. WARREN COUNTY – DISTRICT JUDGE LAURA BAUER
Retail theft. Lacie A. Abbey, 27, Jamestown, NY, was charged by Conewango Township police on May 9 with retail theft from an incident that occurred on Feb. 9 in Conewango Twp.

Theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to the parking area at Webb’s Ferry for a report of a stolen firearm that was allegedly taken on May 5 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. when someone entered the victim’s vehicle and took it along with a CD player. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
PINE GROVE TWP.
Theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police reported that a 66-year-old Russell man was scammed out of $400 on May 3. The victim received a text message stating that his anti-virus protection was going to run out. The victim then reached out to who he believed to be Apple, who instructed him to buy gift cards and supply them with the numbers. Residents are urged to contact police prior to supplying sensitive information or when they believe they are being scammed.

Burglary. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to Coffaro’s Custom Butchering for a report of an attempted burglary that occurred on May 3. It was reported to police that two white males, wearing all black and ski masks, attempted to enter the front door between 4:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. The males were confronted at the door and fled on foot down Sanders Rd. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
