Troopers seek info after dog found dead
Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police are seeking information about a dead dog found in a garbage bag in Conewango Township.
Troopers said in a statement that they responded to the area of Stone Hill Road and Liberty Street on Monday for a “report of a deceased dog found in a garbage bag.”
“Upon arrival,” according to the statement, “Troopers observed a yellow Labrador inside the garbage bag with an apparent bullet wound to its head.”
The dog was wearing a green cloth collar with a dog bone shaped buckle.
