C. Warren County — District Judge Raymond Zydonik

Assault. Samantha D. Acevedo, 39, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on April 17 with simple assault and harassment from an incident that occurred on April 15 in the City of Warren.

DUI. Brenda M. Anderson, 58, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on April 20 with two counts of DUI and two traffic violations from an incident that occurred on April 1 in the City of Warren.

Crash. Robert A. Pessia, 41, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on April 18 with accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, five traffic violations and a scattering rubbish charge from an incident that occurred on April 9 in the City of Warren.

Woodin

DUI. Joshua D. Carpenter, 47, Youngsville, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on April 18 with two counts of DUI and five traffic violations from an incident that occurred on March 17 in Youngsville Borough.

DUI. Brett A. Kaminske, 37, Oil City, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on April 18 with two counts of DUI from an incident that occurred on March 17 in Southwest Twp.

Eldred Twp.

Firearm theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report that someone took a firearm belonging to a Mickle Hill Rd. resident between Nov. 2022 and April 5. Troopers say the investigation continues.

Pine Grove Twp.

Scattering rubbish. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a report of scattered rubbish on April 23 just before 9 a.m. A large amount of garbage was dumped on Cole Hill Rd., just south of Priest Hollow Rd., at a pull-off sometime between 7 p.m. on April 22 and 8 a.m. on April 23. Troopers say that letters were found in the garbage for the address of 137 Thayer St., Jamestown, NY. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.

Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on April 5 at 7:39 a.m. on Market St. south of Swede Hill Rd. A 2015 Toyota RAV4, driven by Alexis L. Myers, 25, Salamanca, NY, braked and swerved off the road while trying to stop for a construction zone, troopers say. No injuries were reported but Myers was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Pittsfield Twp.

Theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report that someone took a red and white softball equipment bag belonging to a 16-year-old. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Sheffield Twp.

Missing firearm. An individual contacted Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police to report a missing firearm. Troopers say that the 9 mm pistol went missing sometime between 2013 and Sept. 2021.

Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on April 11 at about 6:15 p.m. on Rt. 666 south of Cherry Run Rd. A 2022 Ram 1500, drive by Abdulla Hassan, 25, North Brunswick, NJ, was following a 2020 International LT 6, driven by Dean Cavallaro, 26, East Freetown, Ma. Cavallaro attempted to pull over to allow vehicles behind to pass. Troopers say that Hassan fell asleep and rear ended the truck. No injuries were reported but Hassan was cited for careless driving.

Spring Creek Twp.

Theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police received a report of a missing license place — XJL 9908 — that was reported missing on April 21 from a Tri County Line Rd. address.
