Sentences issued in county court
The following sentences were handed down by Judge Gregory Hammond on Friday morning at the Warren County Courthouse.
¯ Ashley R. Durlin, 28, Youngsville, to one year probation, $4,080 in restitution which has been paid, $625 in fines and fees, 20 hours of community service and submission of a DNA sample on a count of fraud to obtain food stamps/assistance.
¯ Shawn M. Harkins, 48, Warren, to 72 hours incarceration, six months probation, $1,750 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension, 15 hours of community service, work release and compliance with drug and alcohol treatment recommendations on a count of DUI as well as $50 on a count of operating an ATV on streets and highways.
¯ Matthew L. Simonds, 42, Kane, to nine to 18 months incarceration, $250 in fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a drug and alcohol evaluation and compliance with recommendations, 30 hours of community service, work release and early reentry as well as credit for 105 days time served on a count of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer as well as one year probation, $100 and 10 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia; 245 for reckless driving; $70 each on two counts of disregarding a traffic lane and 45 to 90 days incarceration on a count of driving on a DUI-related suspended license.
¯ Michael B. Smith, 45, Pittsburgh, Pa., to three to six months incarceration, $2,009.16 in restitution, $1,550 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension, 15 hours of community service, work release and early reentry and a DUI-related assessment on a count of DUI as well as $145 in fines and fees and a three month license suspension on a count of operating a vehicle while registration is suspended and $70 on a count of operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility.
¯ Mandy S. Wallace, 35, Youngsville, to 30 days incarceration, six months probation, $1,250 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension, 20 hours of community service and work release on a count of DUI as well as $70 each on charges of disregard traffic lane and careless driving.
