Two guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against one and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Barbara J. Bailey, 84, Warren, to neglect of animals — vet care. Charges of cruelty to animals, neglect of animals — sustenance/water and neglect of animals — vet care were withdrawn.

¯ Maddison R. Thomson, 20, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance. Charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against William P. Abbey, Jr., 32, Warren. Abbey had been charged with two counts of retail theft. A count of retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Kathryn I. Steinkamp, 31, Warren, was held for court on charges of terroristic threats and harassment.
