Charges were withdrawn against two defendants and one pleaded guilty during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The most serious charges against Gary H. Koningisor, 6, North Warren, were withdrawn, including criminal attempt — rape and criminal attempt — involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.

He waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of simple assault, harassment and indecent assault.

Two DUI charges were also withdrawn against Benjamin R. Russell, 21, Souderton, Pa.A count of driving the wrong way was re-categorized as a traffic offense.

Dakota M. Proestler, Jamestown, NY, pleaded guilty to charges of defiant trespass and retail theft. A count of retail theft was withdrawn and another was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
