Youngsville man accused of rape of a child

A Youngsville man was taken to Warren County jail Thursday on multiple felony charges including rape of a child.

Adam C. Burleigh, 23, of Youngsville, is charged with rape of a child; two counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child; two counts of unlawful contact with a minor – sexual offenses; all felonies of the first degree; sexual assault, a second-degree felony; felony corruption of minors; misdemeanor corruption of minors; and two counts of indecent assault – person less than 13 years of age, also misdemeanors.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, possible sexual assaults from January and July 2022 against an 11-year-old girl were reported July 8, 2022.
