Pleas entered at preliminary hearings
Two guilty pleas were entered while charges were withdrawn against four defendants during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
The following defendants pleaded guilty:
¯ Terry M. Reynolds, 34, Dunkirk, NY, to harassment. A count of harassment was withdrawn.
¯ Douglas E. Wallech, II, 24, Warren, to two counts of disorderly conduct. Charges including two counts of terroristic threats and communications with 911 were withdrawn.
Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:
¯ Robert C. Bean, 38, Warren. Bean had been charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of driving on a suspended license was re-categorized as a traffic offense.
¯ Kathryn I. Steinkamp, 31, Warren. Steinkamp had been charged with retail theft. A count of retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
¯ David J. Tremblay, 49, Warren. Tremblay had been charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of operating a vehicle without valid inspection was recategorized as a traffic offense while a count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
¯ Scott M. Warren, Jr., 38, Warren. Warren had been charged poss possession/sale/use of display documents, operating a vehicle without valid inspection, driving an unregistered vehicle and no rear lights. Charges of operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility and fraudulent use/removal of registration plate were re-categorized as traffic offenses.
