Cases resolved at preliminary hearings

One guilty plea was entered, charges were withdrawn against four and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Lugene H. Sturdevant, 35, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle without valid inspection. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, signal improper and were not prosecuted.

Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:

¯ Brandi R. Edling, 30, Warren. Edling had been charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Ashlee Leonard, 29, Warren. Leonard had been charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Sarah M. Neel, 39, Warren. Neel had been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, failure to carry a license and vehicle registration suspended. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Zebuli J. Petrof, Sr., 39, Warren. Petrof had been charged with deposit trash on street.

¯ Donald A. Walters, 36, Warren, was held for court on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief.
