Retail theft. Karen L. Green, 57, Tidioute was charged by Conewango Township police on Jan. 30 with retail theft from an incident that occurred on Nov. 21 in Conewango Twp.

W. Warren County — District Judge Todd Woodin

Strangulation. Stephen W. Eck, 31, Sheffield, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Jan. 28 with strangulation, simple assault, harassment and unlawful restraint from an incident that occurred on Jan. 28 in Sheffield Twp.

DUI. Sheila A. Mawhinney 58, Tidioute, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Jan. 27 with two counts of DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and six traffic offenses from an incident that occurred on Jan. 1 in Tidioute.

Limestone Twp.

Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Jan. 25 at 5:05 p.m. that occurred on Route 62. A 2005 Ford F250, driven by Jameson S. Shepherd, Jr., 18, Warren, was traveling south at what troopers call a speed too great for conditions. Police say the vehicle left the roadway, struck a guide rail, rotated 360 degrees and traveled back onto the roadway where it was struck by a 2004 Chevrolet Impala driven by Randy J. Spencer, 61, Franklin, Pa. No injuries were reported but Shepherd, Jr. was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.
