Preliminary hearings held in County Court

Two guilty pleas were entered while charges were withdrawn against four during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants pleaded guilty:

¯ Rose M. Dawson, 22, Clarendon, to possession of a controlled substance and driving without a license. Charges of possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

¯ Scott F. Wynn, 47, Jamestown, NY, to possession of a controlled substance. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following individuals:

¯ Dustin L. Cabisca, 36, Tiona. Cabisca had been charged with possession of marijuana. Charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness were re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Preston Cottrell, 66, Youngsville. Cottrell had been charged with two counts of DUI and two traffic violations. A count of driving on a suspended license was re-categorized as a traffic offense.

¯ Ashley N. Mott, 27, Clarendon. Mott had been charged with five counts of retail theft. A count of retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Lugene H. Sturdevant, 34, Warren. Sturdevant had been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
