Pleas entered in county court

President Judge Maureen Skerda accepted pleas from the following defendants during plea court proceedings held on Friday afternoon.

¯ Chad A. Amoroso, 45, Edinboro, to DUI, possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a traffic violation. Charges including driving on a suspended license, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.

¯ Damien M. Brown, 28, Warren, to DUI and driving on a suspended license. A count of DUI and two traffic violations were not prosecuted.

¯ Daniel R. Brown, 28, Warren, to charges at three dockets including to a first-offense DUI and careless driving at one docket where five counts of DUI and a speeding violation were not prosecuted. At another he pled guilty to a second-offense DUI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia while a count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted. He also pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia while a count of possession of marijuana was not prosecuted. A fourth docket — terroristic threats, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia — was not prosecuted in its entirety.

¯ James D. Fazio, 41, Warren, to conspiracy (possession with intent to deliver), DUI and driving on a suspended license while charges including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering apprehension were not prosecuted. At a second docket, Fazio pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility and driving on a suspended license while charges of possession with intent to deliver and driving on a suspended license were not prosecuted. At a third docket, Fazio pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia while charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.

¯ William R. Gardner, 22, Warren, to harassment. Charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment were not prosecuted. He was then sentenced to $425 in fines and fees, 45 to 89 days incarceration in the county jail with credit for 89 days time served as well as a no contact/no trespass order.

¯ Daniel C. Hellman, 32, Corry, to three counts of terroristic threats and institutional vandalism. Charges including four counts of aggravated assault and terroristic threats, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness were not prosecuted.

¯ Paul F. Hellman, II, 57, Corry, to DUI, fleeing or eluding police, careless driving and driving on roadways laned for traffic. Charges of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and nine traffic violations were not prosecuted.

¯ Daniel E. Hernandez, 38, Lakewood, NY, to endangering the welfare of children.

¯ Elizabeth M. Johnson, 38, Clarendon, to a third-offense DUI, driving on a suspended license and illegally parking on railroad tracks. Charges of illegal operation without ignition interlock, driving on a suspended license and careless driving were not prosecuted.

¯ Willis R. Jordan, III, 42, Johnsonburg, Pa., to DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two counts of DUI and possession of a controlled substance were not prosecuted.

¯ Aaron S. Knepp, 38, Youngsville, to false identification to law enforcement and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges of possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance were not prosecuted. At a second docket, Knepp pleaded guilty to resisting arrest while a count of flight to avoid apprehension was not prosecuted.

¯ Shaylynn M. Nudd, 20, Sheffield, to harassment. Charges of corruption of minors and simple assault were not prosecuted.

¯ Matthew J. Porter, 31, Warren, to possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communications facility. Charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility and two counts of possession of a controlled substance were not prosecuted.

¯ Devin W.M. Powell, 30, Sugar Grove, to DUI and a traffic violation. Two counts of DUI, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic violation were not prosecuted. At a second docket, he pleaded guilty to driving an unregistered vehicle while charges of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana were not prosecuted. At a third docket, he pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and a second-offense DUI while charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility and possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted. At a fourth docket, he pleaded guilty to a third-offense DUI, a rear lighting violation and driving under suspension while charges including three counts of DUI and failure to comply with license restriction were not prosecuted.

¯ Joshawa M. Rogers, 37, Warren to accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, failure to stop at red signal and careless driving while seven traffic offenses were not prosecuted. At a second docket, Rogers pleaded guilty to recklessly endangering another person and possession of firearm prohibited while charges of recklessly endangering another person and possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.

¯ Bridget A. Stec, 57, Youngsville, to defiant trespass. A count of burglary was not prosecuted.

¯ Brian W. Smith, 45, Clarendon, to possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia while a count of possession of marijuana was not prosecuted.

Bench warrants were issued for the following defendants or failure to appear for court:

¯ Jeramy S.M. Card, 21, Sugar Grove, who has been charged with two counts of DUI and five traffic violations.

¯ Valerie M. Owen, 41, Conneaut Lake, Pa., to two counts of DUI and two traffic violations.
