Violation. Dustin M. Dikun, 33, Tidioute, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Jan. 15 with contempt for violation of order or agreement from an incident that occurred on Dec. 24 in Limestone Twp.

Possession. James L. Guin, 39, Garland, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Jan. 15 with possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred on Jan. 15 in Pittsfield Twp.

Mead Twp.

Theft of services. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report that they are investigating a theft of services at the Budget Lodge on Rt. 6. Police say someone rented a room for the night and left without paying. Total loss is $96 and the investigation continues.

Southwest Twp.

Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Jan. 9 at 6:36 a.m. A 2008 Toyota Tacoma, driven by Melanie Birchard, 47, Grand Valley, was traveling north on Bugtown Rd. when the vehicle struck a deer, which caused the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway and striking a tree. Police say that no one was transported from the scene but do note that Birchard was cited for required financial responsibility.
