Assault. Dustin S. Morningstar, 22, Sugar Grove, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Dec. 16 with simple assault and harassment from an incident that occurred on Dec. 13 in Farmington Twp.

Possession. Antoine D. Brown, 44, Buffalo, N.Y., was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Dec. 15 with marijuana — small amount personal use, fail to use safety belt, exceed max speed limit established by 19 mph and restrictions on alcoholic beverages from an incident that occured on Nov. 23 in Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. Kaylee N. Keech, 21, Youngsville, was charged by Conewango Township police on Dec. 18 with a total of 10 counts of retail theft from an incident that occurred on Oct. 5 in Conewango Twp.

Possession. Robert J. Willyoung, 33, Pittsfield, was charged by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 15 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred on Nov. 20 in Pittsfield Twp.

Elk Twp.

Hit and run. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a report of a crash on Scandia Rd. on Dec. 6 shortly before 5 p.m. The unidentified vehicle was traveling north and lost control while approaching a left hand curve at a speed too great for the conditions. Police say the vehicle struck a mailbox, traveled back onto the roadway and fled the scene.

Pittsfield Twp.

Theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of a wagon that was near the roadway at 35906 US 6. Troopers say that it is the assumption that whoever took the wagon might have thought the wagon was being discarded by the owners. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
