County — District Judge Raymond Zydonik

Shelby Tuszynski, 39, Erie, Pa., was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Dec. 3 with DUI: Controlled substance — impaired ability — first offense from an incident that occurred on Dec. 3 in Deerfield Twp.

Blair Daniels, 31, Jamestown, NY, was charged by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 4 with arrest prior to requisition from an incident that occurred on Dec. 4 in the City of Warren.

Cathy A. Diethrich, 63, Union City, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Dec. 2 with statement under penalty from an incident that occurred on May 13 in Pine Grove Twp.

Stephenie L. Curtis, 29, Warren, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Dec. 2 with access device fraud from an incident that occurred on March 10 in Sugar Grove Twp.

Elk Twp.

Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Dec. 1 at 4:09 p.m. on Scandia Rd. just south of Lilac Ln. A 2003 Ford Excursion, driven by Edwin J. Frederickson, 55, Ellicottville, NY, was traveling south on Scandia Rd. Frederickson, police say, lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported but Frederickson was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.

Farmington Twp.

Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Nov. 28 at 3:46 p.m. at the intersection of Rt. 957 and Miller Hill Rd. Police say John E. Nordland, 57, Columbus, was traveling east on Rt. 957 approaching the intersection in a 1997 Acura RL when Rebekah N. Lent, 22, Warren, who was driving a 2016 Nissan Altima, began to turn left in front of Nordland. Police say Nordland was unable to avoid a collision and struck Lent’s vehicle, causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Lent reported minor injuries but both refused transport. Lander and Russell VFDs assisted at the scene. Lent was cited for stop signs and yield signs.

Limestone Twp.

Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Rt. 62 about one mile from Tidioute. A 2008 Dodge Dakota, driven by Joseph P. Hegadus, 59, Stoystown, Pa., was traveling north in a 2008 Dodge Dakota. Hegadus, police say, lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions. Police say he over-corrected, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike an embankment. That caused the vehicle to roll on its side and then on to its hood where it slid, coming to rest on the roadway. Police say Tidioute VFD assisted at the scene. Injuries of an unknown severity were reported and Hegadus was transported to Warren General Hospital by the Tidioute VFD.
