Pleas entered at preliminary hearings
Two defendants entered guilty pleas, who pled not guilty while one was held for court during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
The following defendants entered guilty pleas:
¯ Tyler M. Constable, Erie, to possession of a controlled substance. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.
¯ Edgar Y. Evans, Sheffield, to possession of a controlled substance. Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a count of public drunkenness were withdrawn.
Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:
¯ Dennis L. Wedge, Warren. Wedge had been charged with driving on a suspended license from a prior DUI offense — third of subsequent violation. A count of obedience to traffic control devices was re-categorized as a traffic offense.
¯ Stephen A. Pillars, Warren. Pillars had been charged with theft of services. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
Jose A. Rodriguez, Youngsville, was held for court. Rodriguez faces charges of indecent assault — less than 13 years of age, corruption of minors — defendant age 18 or above, indecent assault — less than 13 years of age, indecent assault — forcible compulsion and indecent assault — without consent of other.
