Smith, 28, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on Oct. 7 with possession with intent to deliver, 15 counts of criminal use of a communications facility, five counts of possession of a controlled substance and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred on Oct. 6 in the City of Warren.

Simple assault. Aaron J. Brew, 32, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on Oct. 6 with simple assault from an incident that occurred on Aug. 2 in the City of Warren.

Theft. Hannah R. Sutliff, 22, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police on Oct. 6 with theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception — false impression from an incident that occurred on Sept. 27 in the City of Warren.

Possession. Alisha C. Battko, 35, Sugar Grove, was charged by Youngsville Borough police on Oct. 1 with seven counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a single count of possession of marijuana from an incident that occurred on Sept. 12 in Youngsville Borough.

Possession. Katie L. Wynn, 38, Pittsfield, was charged by Youngsville Borough police on Oct. 1 with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a single count of possession of marijuana from an incident that occurred on Sept. 12 in Youngsville Borough.

Sheffield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on SR 666 at the intersection with Henrys Mill Rd. on Oct. 6 at 8:19 a.m. A 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Sade R. Williams, 34, Erie, Pa., was attempting to negotiate a right curve when the driver lost control. The vehicle crossed the opposite lane and traveled down an embankment, flipping onto its roof. Police said that four occupants, including a three-year-old male, were able to exit the vehicle through a rear door. Minor injuries were reported, police say, noting that all occupants were wearing a seatbelt. Sheffield VFD assisted troopers on scene. Police say Williams was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report that sometime between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sept. 26 a 2006 Jeep Liberty, belonging to a Bethel Park, Pa. man, was keyed while parked at a residence on First St. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
