False statement. Anthony T. Ponick, 34, Warren, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 6 with materially false written statement — purchase, delivery, transfer of firearm and statement under penalty from an incident that occurred on March 13 in Pine Grove Twp.

DUI. Lauren M. Hoyt, 28, Ashville, N.Y., was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 6 with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving — first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – first offense, duties at stop sign and careless driving from an incident that occurred on June 3 in Sugar Grove Borough.

Fraud. Ernest H. Wegg, 41, Warren, was charged by the Office of the Attorney General on July 6 with false/fraud/incomplete insurance claim and criminal attempt (theft by deception – false impression) from an incident that occurred on Dec. 4, 2019 in Conewango Twp.

Possession. Jordan A. Beck, 20, Warren, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on July 6 with marijuana — small amount personal use and possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred on June 5 in Glade Twp.
