6 enter guilty pleas

Six defendants entered guilty pleas while charges were dropped against one during preliminary hearing held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Joshua M. Baumgratz, Warren, to marijuana – small amount personal use and driving without a license

¯ Aaron J. Brew, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges of marijuana — small amount personal use, adulterate/misbrand any controlled substance and tamper with/fabricate physical evidence were withdrawn.

¯ Zakhary James-Zerbe Damron, Warren, to simple assault — mutual consent fight. Charges of criminal attempt — aggravated assault, terroristic threats, criminal attempt — simple assault, criminal attempt – recklessly endangering another person, criminal attempt – harassment and disorderly conduct were withdrawn.

¯ Megan M. Hale, Youngsville, to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving an unregistered vehicle were withdrawn.

¯ Joshua J. Owens, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia and no headlights. A count of fail to carry registration was withdrawn.

¯ John A. Taft, Warren, to harassment. Charges of unlawful restraint/serious bodily injury and harassment were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against Jacqueline Zaner. Zaner had been charged with obstructing the administration of law/other governmental function, hinder apprehension/prosecution – conceal/destroy evidence, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, adulterate/misbrand any controlled substance and disorderly conduct. A count of disorderly conduct — engage in fighting was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
