Burglary. Pennsylvania State Police — Corry is investigating the burglary of about $7,000 worth of items from Cornish Lumber Co., Inc., between 4 p.m. Saturday, July 28, and 8 a.m. Monday, July 30. According to police, two Stihl chainsaws, a three-ton John Deere floor jack, high-lift parts, tractor wheel weights, tools, and scrap metal were taken from outbuildings. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Corry or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Erie County
Crash. A Grand Valley woman was cited following a three-vehicle crash on Route 97, LeBoeuf Township, Erie County. According to Corry-based Pennsylvania State Police, Kayla M. Keyes, 29, of Grand Valley, was cited for careless driving after the crash at 9:26 a.m. Monday, July 30. Police said two vehicles were stopped at a PennDOT work area when Keyes failed to stop, and her vehicle struck the rear end of a car driven by George Yuresic of Centerville, which then struck a truck driven by Michael Troyer of Union City. No injuries were reported.
