Crash. Corry-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Dec. 25 at 10:50 a.m. on Jacks Ln. A 2007 Toyota Tundra, driven by Wade E. Steele, 56, Columbus, began to back into the roadway from a parking lot and struck a 2009 Ford Escape, driven by Shannon Biekarck, 47, Mayville, NY, as it was traveling north on Jacks Lane. Bierkarck’s vehicle was disabled as a result of the accident and the only injuries were suspected minor injuries to a passenger in Bierkarck’s vehicle.

Conewango Twp.

Hit and Run. According to Conewango Township Police, at 2:37 p.m. on Tuesday a pick up truck with a flat bed and plow merged lanes without clearance and struck a 2017 Jeep that was occupied by a known male. The operator of the pickup truck failed to stop and continued southbound on Market Street. Anyone with info on this incident is asked to contact police at 814-726-0725.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that someone stole a decorative blow-up snow man from a Shady Ridge Ln. residence on Dec. 24. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
