Theft. Warren-based state police report that sometime between Oct. 7 and Oct. 28, someone stole a license plate from a trailer owned by William John Vibbert Sr. on Cider Mill Hill Road. The stolen Pennsylvania plate number is XJG 3523.

Triumph Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report that at 1:13 p.m. on Oct. 29, Edmund P. Sennett, 56, Tidioute, was negotiating a left-hand curve on a 2008 Harley Davidson Road King classic while traveling east on Tidioute Enterprise Road when he lost control in a patch of gravel chips on the roadway. Police said the bike traveled approximately 135 feet in a ditch on its left side, returned to the roadway and flipped onto its right side. Police were assisted at the scene by Grand Valley and Pleasantville volunteer firefighters and Warren County Sheriff’s deputies. Police said Sennett was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Liquor law violation. The Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement Erie has reported that the Loyal Order of Moose, 422 Pennsylvania Ave. W., failed to maintain complete and truthful records covering the operation of the licensed business for two-year period ending September 9, 2016, concerning the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act. Police said the charges will be taken before an administrative law judge who can impose penalties ranging from $50 to $5,000, license suspension or revocations, and can mandate training.

Conewango Twp.

False alarms. Warren-based state police reported that Game Stop caused or permitted six false alarms in the same 12-month period after an incident at 10:46 p.m. on October 25. Police said a non-traffic citation was filed against Game Stop through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on October 26, at 12:52 a.m., a traffic stop at the intersection of Rt. 6 and Rt. 62 resulted in Cassandra Danyelle York, 23, Warren, being found to be under the influence and subsequently arrested for DUI. Charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Eldred Twp.

Crash. State police reported that at 8:23 p.m. on Oct. 24, a 16-year old Grand Valley male juvenile was traveling northbound on Route 27 in a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix when the vehicle crossed both lanes of travel and struck a ditch on the east side of the roadway. The vehicle traveled 93 feet before coming to a stop. His 15-year old male passenger was transported to Titusville Hospital by Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Department with a suspected minor injury. The driver was cited for failure to drive a vehicle at a safe speed.

Pittsfield Twp.

Lost item. Warren-based state police say that Ryan Michael McShane, Garland, reported a lost RCA computer/tablet between the area of Taylor Lane and Rt. 426, sometime between 5 and 5:15 p.m. on October 24. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Pleasant Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that Barry Lyle McElroy, 52, Pleasant Township, was stopped by police at 1:25 a.m. on October 22 on Mohawk Ave. and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

Sugar Grove

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 7:30 p.m. on October 28 on Main St. in front of The Bucket someone was backing out of a parking space and struck the left side of a 2012 Ford Fusion, which was legally parked beside it and unoccupied at the time, before fleeing east on Rt. 957. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.

Theft. State police reported that at 9:22 a.m. on Oct. 8, someone stole seven lawn ornaments at the Cheryl Ann Chase residence on Pleasant Street in Sugar Grove Township. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact state police at 814-728-3600.

Tidioute

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident at 10:11 p.m. on October 18 on King St. at the intersection with Main St. A 2008 Ford F-350, driven by Thomas J. Swigart, 49, Tidioute, was attempting to turn around on King St. and, while attempting a three-point turn, backed over the curb and into a building. Police said that Swigart then drove the vehicle home. Witnesses saw Swigart get into the truck and reported knowing who he was. He was located at his residence and found to be under the influence of alcohol. After conducting standard field sobriety tests, police said Swigart was taken into custody for DUI. He was transported to the state police barracks in Starbrick and a certified breath test confirmed that his BAC was over the legal limit. Charges, police said, include DUI, hit and run, and several summary offenses filed through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Youngsville

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that David Benjamin, 38, Warren, was stopped by police on US 6 in Youngsville at 2:56 a.m. on October 22 and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Erie Co.

False ID to law enforcement. Corry-based state police reported that Christopher John Bliss, 30, Corry, was stopped on West High Street in Union City for a traffic violation and provided a false name, that of a 26-year-old Columbus, Pa. man, to law enforcement. Police said criminal and traffic charges are pending.

Theft. According to City of Warren police, Ehren Brown, 38, Florida, was charged with receiving stolen property on Wednesday, Oct. 5, following a theft of coins from an antique store.

Harrassment. According to City of Warren police, Kevin Findley Jr., 21, and Lauren Burroughs, 19, both of Warren, were cited for harassment after police responded to a domestic dispute.

Citation. According to City of Warren police, Russell Irwin, 69, Warren was cited for backing up vehicle properly following a two-vehicle accident on Friday, Oct. 21.

Theft. According to Warren-based state police, between Friday, June 17, and Monday, Oct. 17, Maccoy Robert Shine, 18, of Pleasant Township, took a 14-foot canoe from a neighboring property belonging to Carl Benjamin Anderson, 31, of Conewango Township. The canoe was recovered and returned to Anderson through their investigation, police said. Charges of theft are being filed through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Pittsfield Twp.

Harassment. According to Warren-based state police, between Monday, Sept. 12, and Monday, Oct. 17, Guy Vanderhoof, of Pittsfield, reported that a known female was continuing to have unwanted contact with him after being told to stop. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Sheffield Twp.

Simple Assault/Harassment. According to Warren-based state police, on Saturday, Oct. 15, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Dylan Dakota Reynolds, 22, of Warren, physically assaulted a 41-year-old male outside of the Shaw House. Charges of simple assault and harassment will be filed through District Justice Glen Carlson’s office, police said.

Theft. According to Warren-based state police, from Thursday, Oct. 20, and Friday, Oct. 21, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., someone had a political sign stolen from the front yard of their residence on Crestview Boulevard in Pleasant Township.

Youngsville

DUI. Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies reported that Bryce Bish, 25, Erie, was arrested Saturday evening around 9 p.m. for driving under the influence. Bish was observed by Sheriff’s Deputies driving off the roadway and weaving within his lane. During the traffic stop it was determined that Bish was under the influence. He was taken into custody and Deputies also seized marijuana and drug paraphernalia from him. DUI and drug charges have been filed with District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Drug arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies reported that Robert Bish, 55, Erie, was arrested Saturday evening around 9 p.m. when Sheriff’s Deputies came in contact with him as a passenger in a vehicle driven by his nephew, who was arrested for DUI. Bish was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed with District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Bad checks. Carlie Pierce, 41, Sheffield, was charged by Youngsville Borough Police for passing a check in the amount of $935.00 to the Youngsville Ambulance Service on May 23, 2016 without having sufficient funds available. The bad check charge was filed at District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

DUI. On Thursday, October 13, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Youngsville police were dispatched to a possible DUI on East Main Street where a female almost hit a house with her vehicle. The driver, Robin Fleming, Youngsville, was found to be under the influence of alcohol when she pulled into a driveway and almost struck the house. Fleming was arrested and DUI charges are being filed through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Criminal mischief. Youngsville police are investigating an incident that occurred sometime between Sunday morning, October 16, and Monday morning, October 17, where someone destroyed Halloween lights in front of a residence on 4th St. valued at approximately $40. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 563-7555.

Chautauqua Co.

Vehicle arson. Jamestown Police are investigating an arson of a stolen vehicle that was discovered early this morning by a person driving off of Lister Ave. on the railroad tracks. The vehicle was observed at 4:45 a.m. to be fully engulfed in flames. Jamestown Fire responded and extinguished the fire. The vehicle, a 2010 Toyota Camry, was found to have been stolen from a driveway of a residence on Lovall Ave., not far from the location where it was found. Investigators are looking for any information on this incident.

Hit and run. According to City of Warren Police, Timothy Spranz, 50, Warren, was cited for hit and run following an investigation into an accident where he struck another vehicle and then drove away on Oct. 1.

Hit and run. According to City of Warren Police, Lance Matie, 45, Sugar Grove, was cited for hit and run after he struck a vehicle while driving and failed to stop on Oct. 3

DUI. According to City of Warren Police, Christopher Cornelius, 44, Warren, was charged with DUI, DUI crash, DUI .08 – .10 percent, DUI controlled substance, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, careless driving and limitations on backing following a hit and run accident on Oct. 6.

Public drunkenness. According to City of Warren Police, Debra Brewer, 53, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on Oct. 12 after police responded to a report of a female sitting in the middle of a sidewalk.

DUI/rndangering the welfare of children. According to City of Warren Police, Ralph Haight III, 59, Clarendon, was charged with DUI, DUI .16 percent or higher, endangering welfare of children and careless driving on Oct. 10 following a traffic stop.

Public drunkenness. According to City of Warren Police, Tina Merritt, 47, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on Oct. 13 after police witnessed her stumbling across the roadway.

Simple assault. According to City of Warren Police, Erick Shaffer, 18, Warren, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct on Oct. 15 following an altercation at a city park.

Bad checks. According to City of Warren Police, Jacob Zaner, 24, Warren, was charged with bad checks on Oct. 18 after he presented a check in the amount of $140 which was later returned marked “account closed”.

Accident. According to City of Warren Police, Lindsay Wallin, 35, Warren, was cited for accident involving damage to unattended vehicle, duty to give information and render aid and careless driving following a hit and run accident where she struck a parked vehicle on Schantz Street on Oct. 19.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at approximately 2:39 p.m., Robert Sayers, 52, Pleasantville, riding a 2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic, was following a 1983 Chevrolet G60 driven by Seymour Upton, 88, Spring Creek, on Route 27 just north of Shell Road. Police report that Upton activated his left turn signal to make a left turn into a private driveway, at which time Sayers moved into the left passing lane in an attempt to pass Upton. According to police, as Upton began his turn into the private drive, Sayers began to skid and lost control of his motorcycle, striking Upton’s vehicle with his own. Sayers was ejected from the motorcycle, according to police, and the motorcycle slid approximately 162 feet on the roadway before coming to rest on the east berm facing south before Sayers came to rest on the center dividing line of the roadway. Police report that Sayers was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie by Emergycare for injuries of unknown severity. Upton was uninjured, according to police. No charges have been filed.

McKean County

Escape. According to Kane-based state police, on Thursday, Oct. 20 between approximately 2 and 3 p.m., they were called to investigate an escape from the McKean County Jail. While obtaining initial information, police said, Deputy Smith of the McKean County Sheriff’s Department apprehended the escapee, Caleb A Crenshaw, 23, on Route 59. Crenshaw was brought back to the McKean County Jail where he was arrested by state police for escape.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 19 at 7:50 a.m. at Sheffield Area Middle Senior High School a known 15-year-old male, Sheffield, and a known 16-year-old male, Clarendon, became involved in a physical altercation. Police said the 16-year-old struck the 15-year-old in the mouth with a closed fist and has been charged with harassment through District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

Simple assault. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 15 at 11:30 p.m. Kelly William Mitchell, 41, Sheffield, physically assaulted a 22-year-old male, Warren. Police said charges will be filed through District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, on Thursday, Oct. 13 at approximately 6:20 p.m., Tim Lenhard, 66, of Prudenville, Mich., was traveling north on Route 666 on a 2005 BMW UNK when he struck a crack in the roadway before crossing over a bridge. According to police, approximately 50 feet after striking the crack, Lenhard attempted to negotiate a left-hand turn in the roadway, but his motorcycle would not steer around the turn. Lenhard traveled off the east berm of the roadway for approximately 30 feet before hitting the ditch, police said. According to police, once Lenhard hit the ditch his motorcycle swung 180 degrees counterclockwise, throwing Lenhard from it. Lenhard was wearing a full face helmet and safety glasses at the time of the crash, police said. Lenhard was transported to Warren General Hospital for a suspected minor injury, according to police.

Criminal mischief. Multiple victims reported to Warren-based state police that someone caused damage to various items at their residences on National Forge Road last weekend.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Dorcon Road at the entrance to the Metzgar Industrial Park on Oct. 13 at 12:20 p.m. According to police, a 2008 Ford Ranger, driven by Derek T. Wachter, 23, Warren, was traveling east on Route 6 while a 2011 Jeep Patriot, driven by Sarah M. Crissey, 33, Warren, was stopped in the eastbound lane waiting to make a left-hand turn. Police said Wachter failed to see the stopped vehicle and rear-ended Crissey’s vehicle. Wachter was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of injuries of an unknown severity. Crissey and two passengers 32-year-old Colby Neel, Warren, and a juvenile were not injured. Glade and Clarendon volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

Criminal mischief. State police report that on Oct. 5, someone intentionally drove over two Elk Township decorative signs on Priest Hollow and Hultburg Roads. Anyone with information is asked to call PSP Warren at 728-3600 or Warren County Crimestoppers at 800-832-7463.

Mead Twp.

DUI. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office report that on Oct. 8, Devon Jean Baptiste, 29, Clarendon, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Baptiste was stopped when his vehicle crossed the centerline on Route 6 in Mead Township, almost striking a Sheriff’s vehicle. He was transported to the Pennsylvania State Police Warren Barracks for a breath test. Charges have been filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Cruelty to animals. Paws Along The River Humane Society reported that Robin Lee Johnson, Sheffield, was found guilty of one count of cruelty to animals law Title 18 Section 5511 C-(1) on September 27, 2016, before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson. Johnson failed to provide necessary veterinary care and clean and sanitary living conditions for three dogs for which he was the owner.

Paws Along The River Humane Society reported that Rebecca Johnson, Sheffield, was found guilty of one count of Cruelty to Animals Law Title 18 Section 5511 C-(1) on September 27, 2016, before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson. Johnson failed to provide necessary veterinary care and clean and sanitary living conditions for two dogs for which she was the owner.

Cruelty to animals. Paws Along The River Humane Society reported that April Gregory, Sheffield, was found guilty of two counts of Cruelty to Animals Law title 18 Section 5511 C(1) on September 27,2016 before District Magistrate Glen Carlson. Gregory failed to provide necessary veterinary care to two puppies and one adult dog for which she was the owner.

Harassment. Warren City Police said John Griffin, 31, Warren, was cited for harassment on Sept. 29 following an investigation into an incident of unwanted touching that occurred on Aug. 8.

Retail theft. Warren Police said a 13-year-old juvenile was cited for retail theft after officers responded to a local convenience store for a theft of $3.91 of merchandise on Oct. 10.

Crash. Warren City Police said Lance Mattie, 45, Sugar Grove, was cited for hit and run following a two-car accident that occurred on Oct. 3 at the intersection of Hickory Street and Fourth Avenue.

Conewango Twp.

Alarm devices. Warren-based state police reported that Game Stop caused or permitted five false alarms in the same 12 month consecutive period. A non-traffic citation was filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Chautauqua Co.

Possession. On October 10 at 11:32 p.m. a Lakewood Busti police officer was on patrol on Forest Avenue Extension in the Town of Busti. The officer observed a vehicle with a head lamp out and stopped the vehicle, which was found to be operated by Jacob L. Osborne, 18, Columbus, Pa. Police said Osborne was found to be allegedly under the influence of drugs, with drugs throughout his vehicle. Osborne was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while ability impaired by drugs, expired inspection and one head lamp. Osborne’s passenger, Melissa Scott, 23, Corry, was allegedly found to be in possession of hypodermic instruments, methamphetamine powder and a scale to weigh drugs. Scott was charged with criminal possesion of a hypodermic instrument, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. While continuing the investigation, Tabbitha A. Griffy, 19, Corry, who was seated in the rear of the vehicle, was found to be in possession of a hypodermic instrument. Griffy is charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. All three were arraigned in the Town of Busti court and bail was set at $2,000 cash and $4,000 property on Osborne and Scott while Griffy was released and will appear in court at a later date.

Bad checks. City police report that Brandy Markham, 41, Warren, was charged with theft by deception and bad checks on Oct. 9 after a report from a local grocer that two checks totaling $66.14 had been returned for nonsufficient funds.

Public drunkenness. City police report that Edgar Evans, III, 18, Warren, was cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness on Oct. 9 after officers noticed a male having difficulty walking on Pennsylvania Avenue East at 1 a.m.

Crash. City police report that Lori Burnside, 53, Warren, was cited for a stop sign violation on Oct. 9 following a two-vehicle accident at Madison Avenue and Prospect Street.

Harassment. City police report that Kira Nudd, 45, Warren, was cited for harassment on Oct. 10 after police responded to a domestic dispute. A 15-year old juvenile was also cited for harassment regarding the same incident.

Eldred Twp.

Identity theft. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 3 at 6:11 p.m. that the identity of a known 53-year-old Pittsfield resident was used to make a purchase via the internet, which was stopped by the female’s bank. The amount was for $149.95.

Mead Twp.

Hit and run. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 9 at 2:25 a.m. an unknown vehicle left the roadway of US 6 in Weldbank and struck hedges, a cable pole and a mailbox and garbage can before fleeing the scene. The property belonged to Walter Darr, 64, Clarendon, and Heather Wooten, 41, Clarendon. Police said the vehicle will have heavy damage to the front passenger side bumper. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Sheffield Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that on October 9 between 10:50 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. that someone scratched a vehicle belonging to Susan Elaine Hanson, Warren, which was located at the Sheffield Methodist Church, with an unknown object. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.

Youngsville

Retail theft. Youngsville police investigated a retail theft where two known juvenile females stole candy from the Dollar General in Youngsville. A 14-year-old female, and a 15-year-old female, reportedly stole three pieces of candy from the store and admitted to doing so. Both juveniles have been cited for a charge of summary retail theft through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Harassment. Youngsville police investigated an incident at Huey’s Place where two females had a confrontation inside the bar. Jamie Drayer, 39, Youngsville, reportedly walked up behind another adult female, grabbed her by the hair and ripped off her necklace. Drayer has been cited for a summary harassment through Woodin’s office.

Harassment. State police reported that between 8 a.m. and 3:25 p.m. on Oct 8, a known juvenile female subjected a known adult female to physical contact during a domestic dispute on Peterson Road. A charge of summary harassment was filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Glade Twp.

Theft. State police reported that Scott R. Johnson, 52, Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after he stole multiple copper bars from electrical panels that were removed from Warren Area High School during renovations. The charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Pine Grove Twp.

Criminal mischief. State police reported that sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 7:20 a.m. on Oct. 6, someone used a golf club to smash the rear hatch and passenger-side rear windows of Rachel Stowe’s vehicle in Russell. Sheffield Twp.

Crash. State police reported that at 5:20 p.m. on Oct. 9, Christianna Y. Valdez, 22, Johnsonburg, was travelling east on Route 6 in a 2002 Mercury Sable her vehicle she drifted into the westbound lane. She overcompensated when returning her vehicle to the eastbund lane, lost control, struck a trafic sign then a utility pole before the vehicle came to rest. Valdez was charged with careless driving.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Harassment. State police reported that a known female of Sugar Grove told PSP Warren that a known male subject has been having repeated unwanted contact with her after being told to stop. The investigation continues.

DUI. Pennsylvania State Police charged Roberta Jean Derry, 58, of Warren, with DUI and summary traffic offenses after responding to a disabled vehicle report at 11:26 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, on Jackson Avenue at Irvinedale Road, Glade Township.

Pittsfield Twp.

Trespass. Pennsylvania State Police reported that someone entered a residence on Kane Road, Pittsfield Township, between 4 and 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. Police said the person or persons entered through the front door. There was no damage reported and nothing reported missing, according to police. Theft. City of Warren police reported that Stephen Pillars, 43, Warren, was charged with two counts of access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and theft from a motor vehicle on October 5 following an investigation into a theft from a vehicle on August 14, 2016.

Retail theft. City of Warren police reported that Tyler Constable, 21, Warren, was charged with retail theft on October 2 after a convenience store reported a theft of merchandise in the amount of $1.58.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that Lisa Johnson, 40, Warren, was charged with failure to stop at a red signal on October 1 following a two-vehicle accident on Conewango Ave. and Third Ave.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that Scott Wagner, 40, Warren, was cited for harassment on October 3 after officers responded to a domestic dispute.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that Roberta Derry, 58, Warren, was cited with hit and run and careless driving following a hit-and-run accident on October 4 at Pennsylvania Ave. and N. Carver St.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that Robert Nicoletti, 36, Youngsville, was charged with DUI unsafe driving, DUI high rate and failure to stop at a red signal on October 6 following a traffic stop.

Elk Twp.

Vandalism. Warren-based state police stated that Elk Township has been the location of several recent acts of vandalism, including stolen or damaged road signs and tampering with road barricades. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

DUI. On Sept. 30 at 4:35 p.m. Conewango Township Police responded to the Applebee’s parking lot for reports of an intoxicated driver. Officers made contact with Jessica Lynn Hodges, 35, Sugar Grove, who was found to be under the influence and transporting her two juvenile children. Hodges was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence, DUI: Highest rate, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, careless driving, reckless driving and an open container violation.

Glade Twp.

Found property. Warren-based state police reported that a pocket knife was found along the berm of Pamela Drive off of Conewango Avenue on Oct. 5. Police said the property can be claimed by calling the state police barracks.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that a female suspect, of Union City, removed guns belonging to a 74-year-old male and a 39-year-old male, both of Youngsville, that were located at the 74-year-old’s Telic Run Rd. residence sometime between May 22, 2015 and October 2, 2016. The known suspect then committed theft by deception by selling one of the guns to C and H Sports, Corry. Police said the investigation continues and that the total stolen value is estimated at $1,900.

Conewango Twp.

Bad check. On August 3, Nancy P. Nuhfer, Phoenix, Arizona, issued a check in the amount of $199.66 to Dan Nuhfer. Police said that the check was returned by the bank indicating insufficient funds in her account. Police said that Dan Nuhfer sent her a certified bad check notice to which she did not respond. Conewango Township Police subsequently charged Nancy Nuhfer with bad checks for the violation.

Sheffield Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to an incident on Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at a single family residence on Mill St. where Arthur Thom Johnson III, 23, and April Marie Gregory, 26, both of Sheffield, became involved in a physical altercation. Police said that after further investigation both were charged with harassment through District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

Southwest Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Oct. 1 someone pulled into a Goodwill Hill Road driveway and took a dog belonging to Krista Warner, Grand Valley, from the front yard. Police said the dog was a Pomeranian and is described as having long, tan-colored fur. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.

Retail theft. City of Warren police reported that Jasmine Lindgren, 20, Warren, was cited for retail theft on Sept.30 and Oct. 2 following investigations of two separate incidents where she removed merchandise from a convenience store without paying. The total amount of both thefts was $8.04.

Theft. City of Warren police reported that a 13-year-old was charged with theft by unlawful taking on Sept. 26 following an investigation into the theft of a cell phone.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that Tammy Cochrane, 43, Warren, was charged with DUI .16% or higher and a rear lighting violation on Sept. 27 following a traffic stop.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that Robert Bedell, 54, Warren, was charged with disorderly conduct engage in fighting, disorderly conduct hazardous physical offense and public drunkenness on Sept. 27 after police responded to a report of an intoxicated male throwing things. He was placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that Barbara Kelly, 53, Youngsville, was charged with DUI, DUI .16% or higher, careless driving, DUI with accident and failure to signal on Sept. 29 following a two-vehicle accident at Pennsylvania Avenue and Market Street.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that Stephen Fox, 48, Warren, was cited with disregard flashing red signal on Sept. 30 following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hickory Street and Third Avenue.

Glade Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident on Sept. 28 at 4:17 p.m. at 1284 Conewango Avenue. According to police, a Dodge vehicle was attempting to execute u-turn in the traffic way but failed to leave adequate turning room for the attached trailer. The vehicle’s trailer struck the passenger side rear of a 2008 Ford Ranger that was parked in a parking stall. Police said the impact caused minor damage to the Ranger and broke the tail light out of the trailer attached to the Dodge. Police said that the operator of the Dodge quickly completed his turning maneuver and began leaving the apartment complex, turning southbound on Conewango Avenue towards the City of Warren.

Clarendon

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that at 6 p.m. on Oct. 3, a known 29-year-old female acquaintance came to the residence of a known 50-year-old victim. While at the residence, the suspect was accused of taking the victim’s purse and concealing it in her own bag. The suspect became angry and left the residence on foot, traveling north on South Main Street. The suspect was subsequently found by state police and was stopped for questioning. The suspect did not posess the bag at that time. Anyone with information pertaining to this case is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Youngsville

Simple assault. Warren-based state police report that at 4:59 a.m. on Oct. 1, troopers were dispatched to a residence on Second Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Police said during the course of the investigation, it was determined that a 47-year-old male and a 46-year-old female were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical, resulting in a minor injury to the female. It was also discovered that the male involved is currently on probation. As a result, he was taken to the Warren County Jail on a probation detainer. Police said charges of simple assault and harassment are pending through District Justice Todd Woodin.

Theft. According to Warren-based state police, sometime between Thursday, Sept. 29 at 5:30 p.m. and Friday, Sept 30 at 8 a.m., someone entered an unlocked vehicle belonging to Robert Zigler on Pamela Drive while it was parked outside a residence. The person then proceeded to steal a black Lenovo laptop and a black Western Digital external hard drive which were located on top of the center console, and a Kwik Fill credit card and rewards card, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Theft by deception. According to Warren-based state police, on Wednesday, Sept. 28, someone scammed a resident of Glade Township out of money by claiming to be a relative in need of bail money. The investigation is continuing.

Spring Creek Twp.

Burglary. According to Warren-based state police, sometime between Aug. 15 and Oct. 2, someone removed several items from a camp belonging to Michael Eugene Koontz, 69, of New Enterprise, Pa. The person then fled the scene, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police reported that Arthur I. Littlefield II, 27, Tiona, was cited for disorderly conduct for spinning his tires and doing donuts in the gravel parking area of the Warren County Conservation District, located on Hatch Run Road, on Sept. 27 at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Kinzua Road, west of Route 59, on Sept. 28 at 7:35 a.m. According to police, a 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII, driven by Byron M. West, 23, Warren, was traveling east on Route 59 when a deer ran into its path and jumped into his windshield. Police said West could not see due to his windshield shattering and caving in and he swerved into the oncoming lane of travel and struck a 2014 Ford F350, driven by Nicholas W. Frampton, 52, Bradford, who was not injured. West was flown to UPMC Hamot for treatment of unspecified injuries. EmergyCare and Clarendon volunteer firefighters assisted on the scene.

Pittsfield Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state poice reported that somtime between Sept. 5 and Sept.12 someone went onto property belonging to Timothy Hornburg, Warren, located on Route 27 and stole 10 steel trusses out of the bed of his truck. Anyone with information is asked to contact ythe state police.
