DUI. According to City of Warren Police, Justin Carlson, 30, Warren, was charged with DUI and driving wrong way following a traffic stop on Aug. 5.
Harassment. City of Warren Police reported that Steven Snyder, 28, Warren, was cited for harassment on Aug. 14 and Aug. 16 after police received reports of harassment after a no contact order had been placed.
Crash. City of Warren Police said Brian Bailey, 41, Warren, was cited for a backing violation on Aug. 16 following a two-vehicle accident on Biddle Street.
Trespass. Five juveniles were cited for defiant trespass after they were witnessed jumping a fence to gain entry to posted property on Aug. 16, according to City of Warren Police.
Terroristic threats. A 10-year-old male was charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct on Aug. 7 after police responded to a report that he was threatening other children with a knife, according to City of Warren Police.
Public drunkenness. According to City of Warren Police, James Kingston, 68, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on Aug. 19 after police responded to a report that a man had fallen.
Disorderly conduct. City of Warren Police said James Doll, 25, Flemington, NY, was cited for disorderly conduct on Aug. 20 after police responded to a report that he had broken a window during an argument.
Disorderly conduct. Emmet Confer 31, Warren, and an 11-year-old female were reportedly both cited for disorderly conduct by City of Warren Police on Aug. 21 after police were called to a verbal domestic dispute.
Conewango Twp.
DUI. According to Warren-based state police, on Aug. 7 at 1:07 p.m., Dakota Jon Michael Raymond, 18, was stopped for a reported traffic violation at Route 6 and River Road. Police said Raymond was arrested for DUI and that DUI and other related charges are pending.

Hit and run. According to Conewango Township Police, on Aug. 29 at 4:30 a.m., a vehicle traveling west on Jackson Run Road left the south side of the roadway, hit a mailbox and caused damage. Police said the vehicle did not stop and continued traveling west. The vehicle is missing a driver’s side mirror, police said, and the vehicle is suspected to be a Ford.

Attempted burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between Aug. 24 and 27 at 101 Baker Hill Rd., someone tried to gain entry to the residence by cutting two window screens at the rear of the residence. The suspect allegedly cut the top screen portion to the rear residence storm door and cut another screen located on one of the rear house windows. Police said the suspect was unable to gain access to the residence, but caused significant damage to both screens, requiring replacement. Criminal mischief. According to Warren-based state police, on Aug. 28 between 6 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., someone damaged a lock hasp/door jamb to a South Main Street garage door owned by Scott Skidmore. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Theft. Warren-based state police report that sometime between10 p.m. on Aug. 24 and 3:45 a.m. on Aug. 25, someone entered a vehicle at 465 Kinzua Road and stole money and two ATM cards. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 728-3600.

Burglary. Warren-based state police report that sometime between Aug. 6 and Aug.20, someone forcibly entered a camp on Cemetery Road belonging to Virginia Lynn Allison, 56, Pittsburgh, while it was unoccupied and removed a known item. The investigation is continuing.

Retail theft. Conewango Township Police reported that at 2:38 p.m. on Aug. 23, Rodney Allen Gage, Kane, scanned lower price items at the self-check out at WalMart to purchase items of a greater value for a lesser price. He was charged with retail theft for stealing $39.54 worth of merchandise.

Liquor law violation. The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reports that the Clarendon Vets Lounge possessed or operated gambling devices or paraphernalia or permitted gambling or lotteries, pool selling and/or bookmaking on theri licensed premises on May 9, 2016. Charges will be brought before an administrative judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $50,000 for more serious offenses.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Hit and run. State police report that at 8:40 a.m. on Aug. 17, a white pickup traveling south on Stoney Run Road attempted to pass a 1994 Cadillac Sedan DeVille that was turning left into a driveway, and the vehicles collided. There was minor damage to both vehicles, and no injuries were reported.

Burglary. Corry-based state police reported that they are investigating a burglary that occurred on August 4 at a Freehold Township residence. The victim, Lawrence Geiger, Spring Creek, had multiple jars of coins stolen from a shed on his property. The total loss is valued at $400. Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police reported that on August 18 at 11:48 a.m. Roger S. Dalo, 66, Clarendon, walked around the Budget Lodge parking lot naked. Dalo has been cited for disorderly conduct through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Pine Grove Twp.
Theft from a motor vehicle. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between 8:30 p.m. on August 17 and 7:15 a.m. on August 18 someone entered a vehicle belonging to Hallie Ann Pearson, Pine Grove Township, located at a private residence along South Main Street, and took a known item. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Theft from a motor vehicle. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between August 8 and August 18 someone entered a vehicle belonging to Amanda Jean Frederick, Russell, and stole a Smith & Wesson .38 caliber five shot revolver. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between August 15 and August 18 someone removed two batteries from a tractor parked in a field on Sanford Road belonging to Seymour Upton, Spring Creek. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that on August 16 at noon someone damaged the windshield of a truck, belonging to Randy McKuhn, Spring Creek, that was parked in his driveway. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 3 p.m. on August 5 and noon on August 6 someone removed cash from a Mickle Hill Road residence belonging to James Leofsky, Sugar Grove. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren County Crime Stoppers. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Clarendon
Public drunkenness. Warren-based state police reported that several calls were made about James Curtis Ecklund, Clarendon, stumbling and staggering in Sheffield. Police said he received a ride to Clarendon where other individuals saw Ecklund fall on the road. Police said that Ecklund was found in a back yard unable to stand due to his intoxication. He was transported to Warren General Hospital and charges of public drunkenness were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
McKean Co.
Crash. Kane-based state police responded to a crash involving multiple vehicles at the intersection of Rt. 219 and Rt. 59 on August 20 at 12:55 p.m. in Lafayette Township. Police said that a passenger car entered the intersection and caused a crash involving multiple motorcycles. Three riders were transported from the scene for treatment of serious injuries. Police said the individuals in the car were not injured and that the investigation is ongoing. Police did not release the names of those involved.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that Ted Smith, Warren, reported the following missing from his Jackson Avenue residence between March 1 and August 9: A Remington .22 cal, Model 543 rifle with a wood stock and scope; an RS .17 cal, pump air rifle with a wood stock and ghost ring rear sight. Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on August 16 at 5:21 p.m. on Rt. 957 at the intersection with Page Hollow Rd. A 2012 Chevrolet Van, driven by Joshua D. Beer, 19, Union City, was traveling west and attempted to stop for a 2006 Honda Pilot, driven by John D. Flaisman, 21, Sugar Grove, which was attempting to make a left hand turn from the westbound lane of Rt. 957 onto Page Hollow Rd. Beer applied the brakes, causing the vehicle to slide and hit Flaisman’s vehicle. Beer’s vehicle sustained disabling damage while Flaisman’s vehicle had moderate but not disabling damage caused by the crash. No injuries were reported in the accident. Police said Beer was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.
Crawford Co.
Crash. Corry-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on August 17 at 12:02 p.m. On Rt. 8 at its intersection with Rt. 77. A 2011 Ford Taurus, driven by Ellen M. Cummings, Warren, was traveling north on Rt. 8 approaching the intersection with Rt. 77 and pulled east through the intersection, striking a vehicle driven by Linda D. Fiely, 60, Titusville, in the rear on the driver’s side. Fiely’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene while Cummings’ vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. All involved, including a passenger in each vehicle, were wearing seat belts and were uninsured. No air bags deployed as a result of this crash. Police said the investigation is ongoing but have cited Cummings for flashing red.

Theft from a motor vehicle. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between 9 p.m. on August 14 and 8 p.m. on August 16 someone entered a tan 2000 Dodge Stratus belonging to Lucas J. Devault, 29, Sheffield, while it was parked outside of Devault’s Oak St. residence and removed items from inside. A black backpack was taken from the vehicle containing, according to police, miscellaneous items. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between 4 p.m. on July 29 and 1:30 p.m. on August 3 someone stole 5,586 gallons of crude oil from a storage tank at a well site off of Sr. 948 belonging to Snyder Brothers, Bradford. A lock was also damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers. Police said the victim has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those who committed the crime.
Sugar Grove
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Aug. 11 at 2:24 a.m. at the intersection of Route 957 and Page Hollow Road. According to police, a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by Adam R. Clark, 23, Warren, was northbound on Page Hollow Road and ran a stop sign at the intersection with Route 957. The vehicle proceeded through the intersection until it struck a ditch on the north side of the roadway on Route 957. Police said that, after further investigation, Clark was arrested for DUI. All occupants of the vehicle Clark, Cody Cole, 26, and Terri Davis, 23, both of Sugar Grove refused medical attention. Police were assisted by Sugar Grove volunteer firefighters.
Tidioute
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that a known 24-year-old male, not identified by police, emptied the trash cans in front of the Tidioute Pub onto the sidewalk and highway on Aug. 10 at 11:55 p.m. Police said the suspect then drove over the trash and trash cans with a tan dual-wheeled pickup truck. Damage is estimated at $150.

Defiant trespass. Warren City police said a 13-year-old juvenile was cited for defiant trespass on Aug. 9 after officers responded to a report of a juvenile on a train trestle.
Harassment. Warren City police said Bradley Bailey, 20, Warren, was cited for harassment on Aug. 10 after violating a notice of trespass.
Disorderly conduct. Warren City police said a 12-year-old juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct on Aug. 10 after officers responded to a report of a disturbance.
Theft. Warren City police said a 13-year-old juvenile was charged with access device fraud and theft by unlawful taking on Aug. 10 following an investigation into the theft of a debit card.
Theft. Warren City police said Joshua Wightman, 29, Rimersburg, Pa., was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and theft from a motor vehicle on Aug. 10 after officers investigated the theft of a cell phone.
Crash. Warren City police said Theresa Glatz, 60, Warren, was cited for duties at stop signs following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Prospect Street on Aug. 10.
Drug paraphernalia. Warren City police said Leilani Lord, 38, Warren, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment on Aug. 11 after officers responded to a domestic dispute. Police said Dennis Bump, 39, Warren, was cited for harassment in the incident.
Harassment. Warren City police said Aaron Anderson, 32, Warren, was cited for harassment on Aug. 14 after officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Police said he was placed in Warren County Jail on a probation detainer.
Sheffield Twp.
Crash. State police responded to a one-vehicle accident at 4:15 a.m. Aug. 11 on Rt. 666, south of S. Main Street. A 1999 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Patrick N. Kiser, 33, Sheffield, reportedly drifted off of the road while traveling west on Sr. 666, continuing approximately 60 feet along the ditch prior to striking a rock. The vehicle continued along the ditch for an additional 90 feet prior to rotating clockwise and then beginning to overturn on its left side. The vehicle, police said, rolled at least two times and came to rest on its roof. Police said that Kiser was charged with DUI: Alcohol/controlled substance and was transported by EMS for treatment of suspected serious injuries.

Crash. Corry-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on August 9 at 4:30 p.m. A 2004 Ford Explorer, driven by Melissa D. Hazeltine, 44, Union City, was traveling south on Reed Road when it lost control negotiating a left hand curve, proceeded to strike an embankment and then struck a guide wire on a utility pole. After coming to rest in the brush off of the east side of the roadway, police said Hazeltine fled the scene of the crash on foot uninjured. Police said Hazeltine is being charged with multiple summary traffic violations including accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property and immediate notice of accident to police. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Leroy’s Towing.
Elk Twp.
Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police reported that Manual Antonio Carmona, 35, Fredonia, N.Y., caused a disturbance at the Red Oak Campground on Aug. 13 at 11:15 p.m. by yelling after hours to the point that the camp manager had to intervene. A charged of disorderly conduct was filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police reported that on Aug. 15 at 12:25 a.m., a known 66-year-old male, of Clarendon, beat on the door of another room at the Budget Lodge while yelling and awaking the victim. Police said when the victim, a known 29-year-old male, answered the door and asked what the 66-year-old needed, the 66-year-old spat on the victim and grabbed the victim’s buttocks. Summary citations were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer for disorderly conduct and harassment.

Theft. Conewango Township Police report that at 10 p.m. on July 18, officers were dispatched to the Sheetz store in North Warren for a report of a stolen cell phone. They concluded the investigation when the stolen phone was found for sale on the internet, and Kylie Ann Streightiff, 19, Warren, was charged with theft of property and receiving stolen property.
Receiving stolen property. Conewango Township Police report that at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 8, officers found Sara L. Schwartztrauber, 23, Warren, to be in possession of a stolen iPhone after it was determined that she had attempted to sell the phone on the internet. Police said she was subsequently charged with receiving stolen property.
Possession. Conewango Township Police report that at 9:14 p.m. on Aug. 3, officers had stopped Joshua James Owen, 24, Warren, for a vehicle inspection violation. During the stop, Owens was found to be in the possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. Police said during a subsequent search of his vehicle, additional paraphernalia was located. He was charged with possession of marijuana, small amount, and possession of paraphernalia.
Glade Twp.
DUI. Warren-based state police report that at 3:37 a.m. on Aug. 14, a known 16-year-old male was discovered sleeping in the driver’s seat of a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway of a single-family residence. After further investigation, police said he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.
DUI. Warren-based state police report that at 6:05 p.m. on Aug. 10, James L. Orr, Russell, was taken into custody and charged after an investigation revealed the had been drinking when he crashed his vehicle into a utility pole. Charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Theft. Warren-based state police report that someone stole a bag belonging to Pavel Nickolaevich, Corry, and Jeannie Marie Sanchez, Erie, from a picnic table at Kinzua Beach then entered their vehicle and stole numerous items. Missing livestock. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said that Dick Wadsworth reported that a mule has been missing from his Jackson Run Road farm, near the Jackson Valley Gulf Club. Several days ago, Wadsworth noticed a break in the pasture where the mule left the property. The mule is brown in color and had a red bridle.

Hit and run. On Sunday, August 7, Conewango Township Police officers were dispatched to a hit and run that occurred on Jacob Lane. An unidentified vehicle went off the west side of Jacob Lane, striking a street sign and concrete bridge abutment causing the railing to become unattached. Chautauqua
County, N.Y.
Shooting. The Jamestown Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday at 8:18 p.m. in the 600 block of Spring Street. Police said that a report of shots fired resulted in officers responding and located a victim in the area of 614 Spring Street that had been shot in the hand. The victim was transported to WCA Hospital and later transferred to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Investigators are reporting that a Hispanic male and a black male approached the victim as he was riding his bike and shot at him multiple times. Investigators said they do not believe that this is a random act and do believe that the victim was likely targeted. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Jamestown Police Department.
DWI. On August 5 at 7:09 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle off the side of the road with the driver unconscious behind the wheel. Upon further investigation, the driver was identified as Eric D. Olson, 47, Warren. Further investigation alleged that Olson was operating the vehicle while impaired by the use of drugs and alcohol. Olson was transported to WCA Hospital for treatment. A record check also showed that Olson’s driving privileges were suspended in New York State. Olson was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and DWI by the combination of drugs and alcohol. Police said he will appear in the Town of Carroll court at a later date.

Retail theft. According to Warren City police, Kira Nudd, 45, Warren, was cited for retail theft following a report of $42.19 worth of items being stolen from a store on Aug. 3.
Possession of firearm prohibited. Warren City police reported that Jacob Jordan, 27, Warren, was charged with possession of firearm prohibited on Aug. 5 following an investigation. Police said he was placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment.
Possession. Trevor Snyder, 22, Warren, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 6 after Warren City police served a warrant out of Erie County. He was placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment according to police.
PFA violation. Ronald Toy, 50, Buffalo, N.Y., was charged with a PFA violation after he was found at the residence of his ex-wife on Aug. 7, Warren City police said. He was reportedly placed in the Warren County Jail on a PFA violation.
Hindering apprehension. Warren City police said Faye Williams, 52 Warren, was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution on Aug. 7 after she hid a subject the police were looking for and lied to the police about his whereabouts.
Elk Twp.
Crash. According to Warren-based state police, on Aug. 7 at 3:29 p.m., Audrey J. Ash, 29, Russell, was traveling north on Scandia Road in a 2005 Toyota Tacoma when she began to slow down to execute a right-hand turn into a driveway. Christopher J. Taylor, 42, Frewsburg, N.Y., was following Ash in a 1994 Harley-Davidson Heritage Soft Tail, police said, and when Ash slowed down and activated her turn signal, Taylor became distracted and struck the driver-side rear of Ash’s Tacoma. Police said upon impact with the vehicle, Taylor lost control of the motorcycle, laid the bike onto its left side and was thrown from the motorcycle upon its impact with the roadway. Police said the motorcycle slid north, flipping onto its right side and coming to rest in the northbound lane. Taylor slid along the road, police said, and came to rest near the motorcycle. Police said Ash’s vehicle received minor damage and was able to be removed from the scene, but the motorcycle had to be towed due to disabling damage. Taylor received minor injuries and declined medical treatment, police said. Taylor was charged with following too closely. Scandia volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

Criminal mischief. According to Warren-based state police, on Aug. 7 at 4 a.m., several unknown males broke a bench outside New Beginnings Restaurant in Sugar Grove. Police said the value of the bench is estimated at $200. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

N.Y.
Indicted. According to Jamestown Police, two additional suspects have been indicted by a Chautauqua County grand jury on separate 16-count indictments for their roles in a home invasion robbery and sexual assault in July 2014. Police said Ernest J. Bishop, 30, and Ralph J. Crayton, 27, both of Buffalo, NY, were identified through the collection of electronic and forensic evidence. Both are currently held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $500,000 cash or $1 million property bond. Police reported charges as three counts of first-degree robbery; aggravated sexual abuse; first degree criminal sex act; first degree criminal use of a firearm; four counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon; and six counts of second degree assault.

Crash. State police reported that on Aug. 5 at 8:33 p.m., Amie R. Sweitzer, 35, Sheffield, was driving south on Cobham Park Road at about 40 miles per hour when she failed to negotiate a right hand curve with her 2006 Jeep Liberty on wet roadway conditions. Police said the vehicle began to slide and Sweitzer attempted to counter steer and lost control. The vehicle traveled into a ditch on the north side of the roadway for approximately 90 feet before hitting the ditch in the 11 o’clock position, police said. The vehicle spun 180 degrees in a clockwise motion and rolled over onto its drivers side before coming to rest, police said. Both Sweitzer and her passenger were reportedly wearing seatbelts. Sweitzer was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Spring Creek Twp.
Burglary. According to state police, between July 23 and Aug. 6, an unknown suspect kicked in the front door of a camp off Cemetery Road belonging to Blair Allison, Grove City. Police said once inside, the suspect stole a red Murray push mower, a three-pound hammer with wooden handle, a red fire extinguisher and approximately 15 cans of soda. Hit and run. State police report that at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 2, an unknown vehicle struck the passenger side rear door of a 2008 Ford Fusion that was legally parked in the parking lot directly west of the Town Tavern and fled the scene without providing required information. Theft. Conewango Township police report that sometime between June 27 and July 5 someone stole a Stihl Quick Cut concrete saw from a contractor at a construction site on Alpine Way in North Warren. Retail theft. Conewango Township police report that at 3:36 p.m. on Aug.4, Kendra Lawson, Warren, stole $21.01 worth of merchandise from the WalMart store. she was charged with one count of retail theft.

Assault. State police report that on Aug. 2 at approximately 8 p.m., they responded to a report of an assault in the area of the Sheffield playground near Two Mile bridge involving several juveniles. The juveniles were identified and the investigation continues.

Crash. Warren-based state police report that at 1:17 p.m. on Aug. 2, Alex J. Rowan, 17, Sheffield, was traveling east on Route 6 in a 2007 Honda Pilot when he failed to notice a 2010 Ford Fusion, driven by Robert E. Bunting, 81, Sheffield, that had stopped for a truck and trailer that was backing onto the roadway. Police said Rowan’s vehicle struck the Bunting vehicle, causing disabling damage to both vehicles. No one was injured. Police said Rowan was cited for careless driving.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that a 17-year-old juvenile was charged with harassment on July 29 following an investigation into threats that were made online.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that Jason Eyler, 26, Garland, was cited for a stop sign violation following a two-car accident at East Street and Sixth Avenue on July 27.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that Steven Clinton, 61, Warren, was cited for backing up vehicle improperly following a two-vehicle accident on July 29 at Pennsylvania Avenue and Market Street.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that Alexis Larson, 18, Sugar Grove, was cited for a stop sign violation and failing to have a licensed driver while driving on a learners permit following a two-vehicle accident at Buchanan Street and Jefferson Street on July 29.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that Jackie Pierce, 73, Warren, was cited for driving at a safe speed on July 30 after police responded to Market Street and Seventh Avenue to an accident where a vehicle had struck a utility pole.
Dog violation. City of Warren police reported that Robin Hilliard, 58, Warren, was cited for city ordinance – unlawful to allow dogs to run at large on July 31 after police responded to a report of a dog running on neighbor’s property on multiple occasions.
Columbus Twp.
Firearms act violation. On March 17 a known 31-year-old male, Spartansburg, not identified by Corry-based state police, is alleged to have falsified information on forms while attempting to obtain a firearm at C&H Sports. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Conewango Twp.
DUI. On July 10 at 12:14 a.m. Conewango Township Police observed a blue Dodge pickup driving erratically on Jackson Run Road. When a traffic stop was conducted, officers found the driver, Jesse Salapek, 32, Erie, to be under the influence of alcohol. Police subsequently charged with DUI and other summary traffic violations.
Youngsville
Theft. Youngsville Borough Police reported that on Monday afternoon someone stole a purse from the parking lot at the Youngsville laundromat. The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash, credit and debit cards, photographs and many other contents inside the victim’s purse and then attempted to use the debit cards at several locations. Police are working with bank investigators to identify the suspects. Anyone with information may call the Youngsville Police at 563-76555 or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Forgery. According to Youngsville Borough Police, Cody Cox, 20, Youngsville, was arrested and charged with five counts of forgery. Cox attempted to pass off a community service report to his probation officer with the victim’s forged signature stating he performed 40 hours of community service in which he did not. Charges were filed with District Justice Todd Woodin and bail was set as unsecured.
Thefts. Youngsville Borough Police are investigating several reports of individuals going through vehicles at night and in the early morning hours and stealing items left inside the unlocked vehicles. Police said they will be filing charges on several known juvenile suspects. The cases started in the early to middle part of July. Several items have been taken.

Theft. According to Warren-based state police, between Wednesday, July 27 and Sunday, July 31, someone stole three solar butterfly lights from the gravesite of Gary Alan Swanson’s daughter at Pine Grove Cemetery. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police at 728-3600.

Theft from motor vehicle. Warren-based state police reported that someone broke into a parked vehicle located approximately a half mile west of Longhouse Scenic Drive on July 31 at 10:45 p.m. Numerous items, belonging to a known 17-year-old female, Warren, and Amber Marissa Gardner, Sugar Grove, were taken from the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
Youngsville
Possession of a controlled substance. Warren-based state police reported that on July 31 at 12:03 a.m. they found Jami Adam Repine, 41, Sugar Grove Township, to be in possession of a controlled substance along with drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Twp.
Crash. According to Warren-based state police, on Thursday, July 28, at approximately 7:52 p.m., a 1992 Dodge Dakota operated by Norman Pattison, 68, of Titusville was westbound on Route 6 just east of National Forge Road when the vehicle lost power and began to smoke from the engine compartment. Police report that the vehicle was stopped on the westbound berm and no injuries were reported. No charges were filed, and police were assisted on the scene by Youngsville volunteer firefighters and Youngsville Police Department.
Crash. According to Warren-based state police, on Thursday, July 28 at approximately 11:18 p.m., a 1999 Ford Escort operated by a 17-year-old juvenile was traveling west on National Forge Road and was negotiating a right-hand turn when the driver lost control and crossed both lanes of travel, at which point the vehicle went off the roadway and into a ditch on the south side of the road, coming to rest on its side. Police said that the driver was uninjured but that a passenger, Kody Black, 18, Warren, was suspected to have minor injuries. The vehicle, according to police, was towed from the scene. The driver was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.
Mead Twp.
Possession of controlled substance. According to Warren-based state police, on Tuesday, July 19 at approximately 12:40 a.m., Austin Stuart, 19, of Warren was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Stuart was placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment.
Pleasant Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police are investigating a burglary that occurred sometime between Sunday, July 3 at 10 p.m. and Friday, July 29 at 8:40 p.m., at a camp belonging to Greg Rochow, 67, of Canfield, Ohio. Police said that after gaining entry, someone removed a Rugar .45 caliber pistol from the camp. An investigation continues, police said.
Sheffield Twp.
Crash. According to Warren-based state police, on Monday, July 25 at approximately 7:25 a.m., a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt was traveling east on Route 6, east of Four Mile Road, operated by Tyler Depto, 26, of Sheffield when he lost control of the vehicle. Police said that Depto crossed the center lane of travel into the oncoming lane and hit a ditch on the north side of the roadway before continuing to travel along the ditch and hit a culvert. The vehicle then went over the culvert and across a driveway, police said, before going back into the ditch before coming to rest. Police said Depto was charged with careless driving.
Forest County
Robbery. Marienville-based state police responded to a call in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 30 from Ronald and Michelle Windsheimer, and a 13-year-old juvenile, all of Bridgeville, Pa., for an armed robbery which occurred in their camper at Tionesta Recreational Area Campground. According to police, Stephen Renaldi, 18, Kordell Walden, 18, and a 17-year -old juvenile, all from Tionesta, escaped from a juvenile facility and walked to the campground where they entered into the Windsheimers’ campsite looking for a car to steal. Police said that Walden entered the Windsheimers’ camper and demanded the car keys while in possession of a stolen firearm. According to police, Renaldi, Walden, and the 17-year-old juvenile were taken into custody by state police and charged with multiple felonies. The firearm used in the crime was recovered as well as the other items stolen from the local area, according to police. Assistance was provided by Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion and Franklin, and the Forest County Sheriff’s Office.
