Domestic violence. On June 24 at 1:25 p.m. Corey Andrew McGahen, 32, and Carrie Lee McGahen, 27, both of Corry, entered into a verbal argument at 3510 Baker Hill Rd. that turned physical. State police said Corey McGahen spit in the face of Carrier McGahen and pushed her several times,. She slapped him with an open hand and scratched his neck. Police said both will face one summary charge of harassment through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Lost property. According to Warren-based state police, on May 27 at 7 p.m., a McElroy pipe fusing machine fell out of the bed of a truck while at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 666, unknown to driver Roger D. Davidson, 54, Clarendon. Upon the driver’s return, police said, the machine was gone. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

DUI crash. City of Warren Police have charged Cheyenne Lore, 21, of Randolph, N.Y., with two counts of DUI; DUI – accident; DUI – controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; careless driving; and driving on roadways laned for traffic following a two-vehicle crash at Pennsylvania Avenue and Carver Street on May 29.
DUI. City of Warren Police have charged Frederick Nowalk, 72, of Warren with DUI; DUI – highest rate of alcohol; careless driving following a two-vehicle crash on Parker Street on May 30.
Cited. City of Warren Police cited Steven Snyder, 28, of Warren on June 26 for harassment after police responded to a report of a person making threats.
Clarendon
Criminal mischief. According to Warren-based state police, on May 25 at 10 p.m., Michael James Fitzgerald, 37, Clarendon, broke out the rear window of a vehicle belonging to Cody Alan Shrefler, 22, Warren. Charges were filed through District Judge Laura Bauer.

DUI. According to Warren-based state police, on May 20 at 5:13 a.m. Dylan W. Raines, 21, was driving his 2008 Ford F150 east on Scandia Road when he lost control navigating a left turn. Police said Raines hit a street sign on the south edge of the roadway and crossed Cobham Park Road where he hit another street sign. Police said Raines then hit a gas line, causing a gas leak and crossed Frantz Road where his vehicle overturned and came to rest. Police said Raines was not wearing a seatbelt and airbags did not deploy. Raines, according to police, sustained a suspected serious injury and was transported to Warren General Hospital. According to court documents, Raines was charged with multiple DUI and safe driving related charges including DUI: highest rate of alcohol. Police were assisted at the scene by Emergycare, Glade volunteer firefighters and National Fuel personnel. Police listed victims in the crash as society, PennDOT, National Fuel and Thomas Ryan Teller, 50, whose property suffered sod damage as a result of the crash.
Pittsfield Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on May 25 at 3:15 p.m., Amanda Henderson, 27, Garland, struck a known male victim, 50, with an open hand during an altercation. Police filed charges through District Judge Todd Woodin.

Retail theft. On June 23 at 6:57 p.m. four juvenile females were witnessed by Walmart loss prevention stealing $9.39 worth of miscellaneous merchandise from the store. All four were subsequently charged with retail theft by Conewango Township Police for the violation.
Theft. Sometime between June 18 and June 21 someone stole a January 2017 inspection sticker, orange in color, from a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck that had been parked on the Seneca Motors sales lot in Starbrick. Anyone with information is asked to contact Conewango Township police.
Mead Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between April 14 and April 22 someone removed a central air unit from Farnsworth Road property belonging to Rose Davis, 62, Edinburg, Pa. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren County Crime Stoppers. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Chautauqua
County, NY
Vehicle pursuit. On June 23 at 4:41 p.m., officers of the Jamestown Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle that was being operated by Cesar Soto, 38, Jamestown. Soto was wanted on felony warrants at the time and the officers recognized him as he was driving past them. Soto led the officers on a pursuit that went through the east side of the city, Swede Hill area. Soto nearly struck one of the responding police units head-on as he passed them at a high rate of speed. The pursuit went down Maltby Street to the intersection of Pleasant Avenue where the vehicle that Soto was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and came to a stop. Soto then fled the vehicle and a short foot pursuit occurred. Police said he was finally taken into custody after he was caught by officers. He was placed under arrest for several charges which included unlawfully fleeing a police officer, reckless endangerment, failure to comply with a police officer, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest as well as several vehicle and traffic charges in addition to his warrants. Also arrested was Mark McKay, 24, also of Jamestown, who was a passenger in the vehicle during the pursuit. McKay was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was subsequently charged and transported to the city jail. Jamestown police were assisted by the Jamestown K-9 unit, Lakewood-Busti’s K-9 unit, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s K-9 unit and Alstar Ambulance Services.

DUI. City of Warren police said Rodney Hillyard, 60, Jamestown, NY, was charged with DUI, DUI .16 percent or higher and careless driving following a traffic accident on May 22 at the intersection of Conewango Avenue and Verbeck Street.
Access device fraud. City of Warren police said Elizabeth Rickerson, 22, Texas City, Texas, was charged with access device fraud and theft by deception on June 13 following an investigation into the use of a credit card of a person known to her without permission in the amount of $240.81.
Harassment. City of Warren police said Samantha Osborne, 21, Titusville, and Joseph Williams, 36, Warren, were both cited for harassment after police received a report of a past tense domestic dispute on June 17.
Harassment. City of Warren police said John Lusk Jr., 59, Warren, was cited for harassment on June 17 after officers responded to a report of a known person refusing to leave a residence.
Crash. City of Warren police said James Baldwin, 41, Cherry Creek, NY, was cited for following too closely after a two-car accident on Pennsylvania Avenue on June 17.
Simple assault. City of Warren police said Robert Robillard, 59, Warren, was charged with simple assault on June 18 after police responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a local establishment.
Harassment. City of Warren police said William Guthrie, 52, Warren, and Rebecca Kiser, 47, Erie, were both cited for harassment on June 19 after police responded to a domestic dispute.
Pittsfield Twp.
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that on June 21 at 11:13 p.m. someone entered an unlocked door of a residence on Sr. 27, belonging to Melanie Ann Wiler, and fled almost immediately after entry.
Erie Co.
Crash. Corry-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on US 6 west of Hoyt Rd. on June 20 at 9:38 a.m. Craig T. Sampsell, 61, Columbus, was traveling west while operating a 2014 Jeep Cherokee when he became dizzy while negotiating a left hand curve. The vehicle traveled off of the north side of the roadway and struck a ditch before coming to rest in a field. Police said Sampsell was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Corry Memorial Hospital by Union City Ambulance for injuries.

Disorderly conduct. Christopher Ross, 43, Warren, was charged with recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct on May 29 after police responded to a fire alarm at his residence.
Noise disturbance. Tracy Swartz, 47, Warren, was cited for a noise Disturbance on June 11 after police responded to a report of dogs barking.
Crash. Kaitlyn McKoon, 23, Warren, was cited for not yielding the roadway on June 10 following a two-car accident at Pennsylvania Ave. and Third Ave.
Public drunkenness. Dennis Minnis, 21, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on June 12 after police witnessed him vomiting next to the entrance of a drinking establishment.
Public drunkenness. Shawn Keener, 45, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on June 12 after police were dispatched to a man yelling at 2:55 a.m.
Hindering apprehension. Courtney Appling, 23, Warren, was charged with hindering apprehension on June 12 after police assisted probation in the arrest of another subject.
Public drunkenness. Robin Schuler, 58, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on June 14 after police responded to a report of a man lying in the roadway.
Public drunkenness. Laura Wenzel, 45, Sugar Grove, was cited for public drunkenness on June 15 after police responded to a report of a woman lying in the roadway.
Columbus Twp.
Burglary. Corry-based state police reported that sometime between Feb. 1 and June 19 someone entered an unoccupied residence at 16 Stacy St., belonging to Douglas Lars Fargo, 48, Pittsfield. Once inside, the individual(s) went through the interior of the residence and stole numerous Matco hand tools and Bonney hand tools valued at $1,000 before leaving undetected. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
Conewango Twp.
Theft by deception. On May 14 Walmart Loss Prevention associates observed a woman place two large rugs in a cart and take them to the customer service desk. Once at the desk, the woman had returned the unpaid items for a refund of $179.31. The woman was identified as Ashley Amanda Holmes, Erie, from the transaction receipt. Holmes has been charged with one count of theft by deception.
DUI. On June 10 at 11:33 p.m. Conewango Township police responded to 1951 Jackson Run Rd. for reports of a motorcycle accident with injuries. When police arrived on scene they had found that Bradley John Sobkowski, 37, Warren, had left the roadway and was thrown from his motorcycle. Sobkowski was flown to UPMC Hamot for treatment of his injuries. An investigation determined that Sobkowski was under the influence at the time of the incident and was subsequently charged with DUI and other traffic violations.
DUI. Warren-based state police report that at 2:27 a.m. on May 22, Dean Alan Carlson, 60, Clarendon, was stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop, it was determined by police that Carlson was driving under the influence. Charges were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Eldred Twp.
Car fire. Warren-based state police responded to a car fire on June 18 at 9:20 p.m. Cassandra C. Gesin, 32, Grand Valley, had just turned off Fiddlers Green Road and began traveling south on Eldred Center Road. Gesin heard a noise and noticed smoke coming from in front of the vehicle. She stopped the vehicle in the roadway and attempted to lift the hood when she noticed the flames. Two passengers exited the vehicle while the vehicle burned. No injuries were reported.
Mead Twp.
Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police reported that Roger S. Dalo, 66, Clarendon, was cited for disorderly conduct after a motorist reported an individual walking along the roadway naked on US 6 near Sr. 59 on June 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Pittsfield Twp.
Found property. A leather saddle bag found on Sr. 27 in Garland was found on the roadway and was turned into Warren-based state police. The owner can claim the item by contacting state police.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Criminal mischief. State police report that sometime between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on June 17, someone intentionally damaged Kenneth M. Loomis mailbox on Rounds Hill Road with an unknown object while driving along the roadway in an unkown vehicle. Cruelty to animals. A Paws Along the River Humane Society Animal Control Officer reported that Donald Orrie Parker, 58, Russell, entered guilty pleas to two counts of cruelty to animals before District Magistrate Laura Bauer on June 9 for failure to provide fresh water, clean and sanitary living conditions and grooming/veterinary care for two mixed canines. One dog was found deceased in the home.
Pine Grove Twp.
Crash. State police reported that at 2:18 a.m. June 17, Collin R. McHenry, Russell, was traveling north on Fox Hill Road in a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu when his vehicle crossed over the southbound lane and off the road into some shrubbery. He was cited for failure to drive on the right side of the roadway.
Southwest Twp.
Burglary/criminal mischief. State police reported that between 3 p.m. May 28 and 8:40 p.m. June 10, someone forced entry into Lucas Sabella’s residence on 717 Emerson Hill Road. The action caused the door jamb to break, allowing access to the residence. The rear door was also heavily damaged. Investigation revealed no other items in the residence were disturbed. Burglary. Corry-based state police reported that between Nov. 1, 2015 and Dec. 12, 2016 someone stole the following items from James Grove, Sugar Grove, that were located on Stoney Run Road: a blue/gray crock (50 gallon), three Nicholas propane tanks (gray), two milk cans (one rusted and one red and silver), a lawn mower with a red Briggs and Stratton motor) and assorted hand tools including, but not limited to, shovels, rakes, pick axes and a spud bar. Sheffield Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on June 9 at 8:55 a.m. on Route 6 at its intersection with Deer Lick. According to police, Krystle L. Causer, 32, Kane, driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer, was traveling west on Route 6 and was observed by witnesses in the eastbound lane. Causer lost control while returning to the westbound lane. The vehicle began to slide counter-clockwise off of the westbound berm. The passenger side then impacted a ditch, causing the vehicle to roll over at least twice. Causer was ejected, landing in the ditch along the westbound berm. The vehicle came to rest on its roof. Police said Causer was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie by Sheffield VFD for treatment of suspected serious injuries. Causer was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Sugar Grove
Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police said that between April 1 and May 31 Joshua A. Bang, 24, and Jimmie L. Williams, 55, both of Jamestown, N.Y., arrived at a Pine Ridge Road residence belonging to Brian Haner, Sugar Grove. While on Haner’s property, Bang and Williams allegedly stole 1,200 feet of electrical cable that was rolled onto a wooden spool. The wire and spool were transported to the state of New York where the suspects stripped the coating from some of the wire, eventually selling all of the wire for scrap and burning the wooden spool. Both were photographed selling the stolen items and have been charged with theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy (theft) and conspiracy (receiving stolen property). Police said further action is pending.

Retail theft. According to Warren-based state police, on May 28 at 10:15 p.m., Robert P. Surgens, 45, Sheffield, took various items throughout the course of four days from the Dollar General in Sheffield. Police said charges were filed through District Judge Glenn Carlson’s office.
Youngsville
Burglary. According to Youngsville Borough Police, on June 11 at 2:30 a.m., Nathan Reynolds, 26, Youngsville, broke into the residence of an elderly couple while they were asleep. Police said they were called to College Street and Reynolds forced his way into the home before police arrived. Police said Reynolds was taken into custody at gun point by officers and was highly intoxicated at the time of arrest. Police said Reynolds was taken to the Warren County Jail and bail was set at $20,000 by District Judge Glenn Carlson. Conewango Township Police and Warren County Sheriff deputies assisted at the scene.
Vandalism. Youngsville Borough Police are investigating tombstones struck from their foundation at the Youngsville Cemetery near Highland Avenue sometime around Memorial Day weekend. Anyone with information is asked to contact the borough police at 563-7555.

Warren
Warrant arrest. Warren County Adult Probation and City of Warren Police arrested Jeremiah A. Garris, 27, of Pittsfield on a probation violation. According to probation, Pennsylvania State Parole agents noticed bruising on the face and neck of Courtney Appling of Warren while conducting a compliance check on June 4. The alleged victim reported that she had been assaulted by Garris during a domestic dispute. Garris was on probation as a result of a 2012 theft conviction, agents said. Officers went to Garris’ place of employment, agents said, and were told he had fled after receiving a call from Appling telling him that officers were looking for him. Probation, with assistance from city police, Conewango Township Police, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Pennsylvania State Police, and state parole, searched for Garris before discovering that he had left the county. Agents said they received information on Sunday that Garris had been seen entering Appling’s apartment. He was arrested shortly after midnight on a supervisor’s warrant, and taken to the Warren County Jail.

Twp.
Criminal mischief. According to Warren-based state police, on June 12 at 9:30 p.m., an unknown suspect damaged an outdoor light at a home on Knapp Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Accidental death. According to Pennsylvania State Police, on Saturday, June 11 at approximately 9 p.m., a 48-year-old man of Columbus attempted to ignite a firework, which prematurely exploded. Police said that this caused the victim significant injury, leading to death. According to police, no foul play is suspected. An investigation continues, police said.
Sheffield Twp.
Crash. According to Pennsylvania State Police, on Friday, June 10 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Mary B. Thomas, 49, Sheffield, was westbound on Route 666 iwhen she traveled off the westbound berm and struck a mailbox. Thomas then continue traveling on the westbound berm where the front of her vehicle struck a utility pole, police said. According to police, Thomas’ vehicle then continued down an embankment where it came to rest. Thomas refused medical treatment, police said. State police were assisted on the scene by Sheffield volunteer firefighters.

Harassment. Corry-based state police report that at 11 a.m. on June 8, a known 18-year-old male and a known 18-year-old female got into an argument. The male allegedly struck the female in the face with his hand and pushed her out of a residence at 10 West Main St., Columbus. The female allegedly scratched the male in the face with her hand. Police said a non-traffic citation was issued charging both with harassment.
Conewango Twp.
DUI. Warren-based state police report that at 9:31 p.m. on June 5, Melanie Sue Geci, 36, Erie, was stopped on Route 6 just east of Preston Road for multiple traffic violations, and she was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. She was placed under arrest, and transported to PSP Warren for chemical testing and processing. Charges against her include two counts of DUI, careless driving and multiple summary traffic violations. Charges were filed at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office in North Warren.
Garland
Warrant arrest. The Warren County Sheriff’s Department reported that at 9 p.m. on June 7, deputies arrested Branden Busche, 28, Garland, at his residence on a bench warrant for failure to appear for his fines and costs hearing. He was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Glade Twp.
Drug paraphernalia possession. Warren-based state police report that at 7:21 a.m. on May 17, a known 16-year-old male on Fawn Ridge Lane was found to be in possession of marijuana and multiple pipes for smoking marijuana. Charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were filed through Warren County Juvenile Probation.
Found property. Warren-based state police report that at 4:59 p.m. on June 1, a generator was found in a wooded area along Hemlock Road The owner can contact state police at 728-3600.

Parole/probation violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department and Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Patricia J. Bargy, 57, Randolph, N.Y., on May 3 on charges of violation of parole. She had been placed on parole for charges of retail theft. Bargy was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further action.
Parole/probation violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department and Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brandy C. Bose, 30, Spring Creek, on May 20 on charges of violation of intermediate punishment. The defendant, who was originally placed on IP for charges of DUI with a passenger less than 18 years old, driving on roadways laned for traffic and careless driving was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further action.
Parole/probation violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department and Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenndal J. Russell, 21, Warren, on May 31 on charges of parole/probation violation. The defendant was originally placed on parole on charges of theft by unlawful taking, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further action.
Parole/probation violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Nathan E. Southwick, 22, Warren, on June 3 on charges of parole/probation violation. He was originally placed on parole/probation on charges of possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass. Southwick was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further action.
Parole/probation violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Rebecca A. Stanko, 23, Warren, on May 25 on charges of parole/probation violation. She was originally placed on parole/probation on charges of theft by unlawful taking. Stanko was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further action.

Burglary. Youngsville Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on the 800 block of North Main St. Youngsville, on June 1 between the hours of 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. It was reported that an unknown individual entered a residence through a window and stole $1,600.00 cash from inside the residence before exiting through the back door. Dog bite. On Friday, June 3, 2016, the Youngsville Police investigated a dog bite incident that occurred at 42 Highland Ave. A known 15-year-old male was bit in the leg by a St. Bernard Dog belonging to Norman Peterson of Youngsville, while walking past his home. Peterson is being cited by Youngsville Police for the bite, as well as not having control of the dog on a leash.

Possession. City of Warren police reported that Michael Campman, 34, Warren, was charged with possession of a schedule IV drug without a valid prescription on May 26. He was placed in the Warren County Jail on a probation detainer.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that a 16-year-old was cited for vehicles turning left and junior license – under 18 violation following a two-vehicle accident at Conewango Ave. and Fifth Ave. on May 28.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that Gary Finder, 64, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct after police received a report of an unknown male harassing a female at a city-owned park and threatening to harm her dogs on May 30.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Rt. 957 west of Rhine Run Rd. on June 5 at 1:45 p.m. A 2006 Ford Ranger, driven by Louis H. Head, 18, Bear Lake, was traveling east at approximately 55 miles per hour when Head fell asleep. The vehicle then drifted off of the north side of the roadway into a ditch, continuing an additional 150 feet through brush and shrubs. The accident caused disabling damage to the vehicle. Police said Head was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident and was not injured. He was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that on June 4 at 10:28 p.m. someone kicked open a garage door at a residence on Colorado Rd., owned by a Pittsburgh woman. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.

Warren-based state police reported that sometime between May 22 and June 4 someone broke the lock off of a building belonging to Ronald Chamberlain, Warren, located at a camp site off of Cemetery Rd. Once inside, the following items were stolen: black and yellow Champion generator model #100222, two five gallon cans of gasoline, Sanyo DVD player model #FWDP105F, black and yellow tool box with assorted tools and assorted movies. Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on June 4 at 3:45 p.m. two 12-year-old females, one of Warren and the other of Sheffield, entered into a physical altercation at the Sheffield playground. Both were cited for harassment through District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to an ATV accident on Buckley Rd. on June 4 at 6:13 p.m. Charlotte Farrell, 60, Waterford, was traveling south on Buckley Rd. and approximately 20 miles on a SPMN570 ATV when it made an abrupt left turn across both travel lanes, sliding approximately 25 feet. During the slide, the ATV went on two wheels causing Farrell to be thrown off. Police said Farrell was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was flown to UPMC Hamot for treatment of suspected major injuries. Police cited Farrell with careless driving. Tidioute Volunteer Fire Department ambulance assisted on scene.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on May 28 at 6:49 p.m. on US 6 south of Brennan Rd. A 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Dorothy E. Onoratti, 79, Warren, was traveling west on US 6 and crossed the eastbound fog line. A 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by William J. Conrad, Marienville, was traveling west and swerved right in an attempt to avoid a collision but was struck by Onoratti’s vehicle on the driver side. Both vehicle sustained disabling damage and were towed by Johnson’s Towing. Onoratti reported no injuries but was transported to Warren General Hospital by Clarendon Ambulance. Conrad was not injured though a passenger, Diane M. Conrad, 64, reported minor bruising. Onoratti was cited for careless driving.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on June 2 at 9:27 p.m. Jacob Michael Jansens, 25, Warren, was stopped for a traffic violation on US 6 at Main Ave. During the traffic stop, it was determined that Jansens was driving under the influence. Charges were filed through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-motorcycle accident on May 28 at 2:20 p.m. on Pleasant Dr. A 1997 Harley Davidson Road King, driven by Ernest E. Simmons, 71, Falconer, NY, was traveling south when Simmons lost control of the vehicle at an area where the road edge drops off significantly. The motorcycle traveled off the road, striking a stump located on the right shoulder before flipping over, landing on top of both Simmons and a passenger, 74-year-old Bertha M. Simmons. Police said both individuals were transported to Warren General Hospital by Tidioute Ambulance for further treatment of moderate injuries.
Elk Co.
Warrant arrest. On Thursday, June 2 at approximately 3:55 p.m. Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies, with assistance from the Elk Co. Sheriff’s office, arrested Jeromy M. Kemery, 23, New Holland, Pa., on a bench warrant for failure to pay fines and costs. Kemery was incarcerated in the Warren County Jail awaiting further court action.
Youngsville
DUI. Howard Easton, 52, Pittsfield, was arrested by the Warren Co. DUI Task Force on May 29 at approximately 12:30 a.m. for driving a motor vehicle while impaired. Easton was stopped for a traffic violation and determined to be under the influence. Charges have been filed with District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.
DUI. Michael Colvin,26, Pittsfield, was arrested by the Warren Co. DUI Task Force on May 29 at approximately 3:30 a.m. for driving a motor vehicle while impaired. Colvin was stopped for a traffic violation and determined to be under the influence. He will be charged with DUI and endangering the welfare of a child for having a child in the vehicle with him at the time of the stop.
Underage drinking. Three minors from the St. Marys area were stopped on US 6 in Youngsville by Warren Co. Sheriff’s Deputy on May 27 at approximately 8:40 p.m. for a traffic violation. During the stop it was determined that three minor passengers had consumed an alcoholic beverage and were in possession of it. Youngsville Police assisted at the scene. Citations were filed with District Justice Woodin’s office.

Burglary. Corry-based state police reported that sometime between April 1 and May 31 someone gained entry into a barn belonging to Willis Koren, Bear Lake, located on Lottsville Niobe Road next to Koren’s residence and took several tools and supplies without his consent. Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on June 1 at 6:47 p.m. Robert Linkerhof, 47, and Cody Randal Spicer, 28, both of Russell, entered into a verbal argument regarding access to a hayfield at which time Linkerhof grabbed both of Spicer’s arms and held him against a tractor. A summary charge of harassment was filed against Linkerhof through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Weapons arrest. On June 1 at 8:20 p.m. Jamestown police were dispatched to the area of 811 Prendergast on a report of several shots being fired. Upon arrival at the scene, officers determined that an altercation had occurred and that two shots were fired from a handgun by a subject after being confronted by another subject with a baseball bat. Police said the shooter fled but was located moments later walking along E. 6th St. by patrol officers after a description and direction of travel were broadcast. Police said the subject was identified as Jonathan Negron-Rosario, 28, Jamestown, and police found him to be in possession of a loaded .357 revolver, which was found to have been stolen from Camden, N.J., in 1993. Negron-Rosario was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property and reckless endangerment. Negron-Rosario was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and has been committed to the county jail. No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.
Narcotics raid. The ongoing investigation into the sales and trafficking of illegal narcotics in the Jamestown area led investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and the NYSP CNET to execute a search warrant at 230 Forest Ave. on Wednesday afternoon. Investigators located Garson E. Butcher, 24, Jamestown, and found him to be in possession of seven grams of crystal methamphetamine and 13 amphetamine pills with the intent to sell. Butcher was also found to be in possession of 17 grams of marijuana and a digital scale. Butcher has been charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. Butcher was arraigned in city court and has been committed to the county jail.
Narcotics raid. The ongoing investigation into the sales and trafficking of narcotics in the Jamestown area led investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and the NYSP CNET to execute a search warrant at 40 Thayer St. in Jamestown on June 2 at 1:50 p.m. Investigators located Darin L. Butts, 22, inside the residence with an 18-year-old female and a small child. Investigators located 11 grams of crack cocaine inside the residence an charged Butts with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal using drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child. The 18-year-old, who police did not identify, was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and both were transported to the city jail where they are awaiting arraignment.

Small games of chance violation. Officers with the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement based in Erie reported that a citation was filed on May 20 against the Loyal Order of Moose of the World Warren Lodge No. 109, 422 Pennsylvania Ave. W., Warren. Police allege that the establishment used funds derived from the operation of games of chance on Dec. 31, 2015 for purposes other than those authorized by law and failed to submit annual reports to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue during the period of July 2, 2015 through Feb. 9, 2016. Police said the charges will go before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $5,000, license suspension or revocation or mandated training.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that on May 27 between 8:45 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. someone removed a Makita gas-powered concrete saw with a 14-inch diamond blade from the porch of a residence on Chapman Dam Road belonging to Eric C. Berry, Portland, N.Y. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Warren-based state police reported that sometime between May 19 and May 23 someone removed a red, white and black SRS brand 125cc ‘Pit Bike’ from beside a shed located on property belonging to Terry J. Gregorson, Clarendon. The motorcycle is valued at $700. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Theft. Warren-based state police are investigating the theft of a hydraulic cylinder sometime between 3:30 p.m. on May 27 and 7:30 a.m. on May 31. The cylinder, belonging to Sunbelt Drilling Services, Inc. of Blue Bell, Pa., was removed from a Kubota KX040-4 excavator while it was parked on Mohawk Avenue. DUI. According to Warren-based state police, on May 13 at 10:44 a.m., Karen L. Weismantle, 51, Tidioute, wa traveling north on Route 62 and crashed off the roadway. Police said Weismantle fled the scene prior to their arrival and was later located at her residence and determined to be operating the vehicle under the influence. Police said charges were filed through District Judge Todd Woodin.
