Burglary. According to state police, on May 26 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., someone entered an unsecured residence on Irvinedale Rd. and stole a laptop, assorted women’s clothing, and a lock box containing various personal paperwork and U.S. savings bonds with a combined approximate value of $40,250. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren-based state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Mead Twp.

Crash. State police reported that on May 29 at 9:55 a.m. on Route 6, Sydney D. Stout, 46, Wichita, Kan. was traveling westbound and started to slow down for another car turning off Route 6. Sandra L. Bennett, 42, Brockport, Pa., reportedly failed to see Stout slow down and struck the rear of Stout’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Spring Creek Twp.

Crash. According to state police, on May 28 at 9:15 p.m. David W. Campbell, 52, Spartansburg, was turning his Yamaha Grizzly 660 ATV southbound on Oil Creek Road and lost control while turning onto Knapp Rd., causing the ATV to roll onto its left side. Campbell was reportedly transported to Corry Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

Watson Twp.

Crash. State police reported that on May 28 at 7:09 p.m., Robert Kinnear, 35, Tidioute, was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson southbound on Cobham Hill Rd. when he hit a dog in the roadway, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle slid on its left side where it continued to slide in the right lane for 75 feet before coming to rest, police said. Kinnear reportedly received minor injuries in the crash.

Warrant. According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, on May 27 at approximately 1:45 p.m., deputies arrested Steven Matthew Amon, 43, Warren, on a bench warrant for failure to pay fines and costs. Amon, police said, was incarcerated in the Warren County Jail awaiting further court action.

Warrant. Warren County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested Luther Wenzel, 18, Warren, on May 27 at approximately 2:15 p.m. on a bench warrant for failure to appear for his fines and costs hearing. Wenzel was reportedly incarcerated in Warren County Jail awaiting further court action.

Clarendon

Warrant. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reported that on May 27 at approximately 1:24 p.m., deputies arrested Jeffrey Vanpelt, 51, Clarendon, at his residence on a bench warrant issued by the Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for his fines and costs hearing. Police said he was incarcerated in the Warren County Jail for further court action.

Theft by deception. Stephan A. Pillar, 43, Warren, was arrested on May 25 by Conewango Township police after it was found that he unlawfully used a bank card for several orders at Fox’s Pizza. Pillars used the card, according to police, for seven transactions from Jan. 19 to March 1 totaling $334.75 as an employee of the business.

Pleasant Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between 8 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on May 24 someone vandalized vehicles belonging to Shawn A. Young, Warren, and David S. Huling, 40, Russell, which were parked at the main office at St. Joseph Cemetery. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers. Police said the investigation is pending.

Clarendon

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that sometime on May 25 between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. someone removed a BMX bike from a Levi Rd. property belonging to Melanie Grace, 35, Clarendon, and John Shetler, 23, Sugar Grove. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren County Crime Stoppers. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on May 21 at 2:13 a.m. Brandon Kelly VanCise, 19, Russell, crashed his vehicle on Route 6 west of Route 59. Police said after further investigation, it was determined that VanCise was driving under the influence. Charges were filed with District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

Firearms. Pennsylvania State Police have charged Stefanie M. Cross, 32, of Kane, with statement under penalty, after she allegedly attempted to purchase a pistol at the Dog House, Mead Township, on Dec. 26, 2015. Police said Cross is prohibited from purchasing firearms.

Pleasant Twp.

Found. A Mongoose mountain bike was found at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21, on Fuller Avenue, Pleasant Township. The owner may claim it by contacting Pennsylvania State Police at 728-3600 and providing a description.

Theft. Conewango Township Police report that on May 19, Starbrick Volunteer Fire Department reported a gas detector (XTI Multigas Monitor with O2, Lel, CO, H2S with a Li-Ion battery) and a sampling pump (ISP motorized sampling pump with ten feet of tubing) was taken from the fire hall at 3 Fireman Street, Starbrick, with a total value of $2,909.37. Theft. Warren-based state police report that sometime between 3 p.m. on May 11 and 3 p.m. on May 13, someone removed a white metal sign stating water “is not for human consumption” from a natural spring one-quarter mile west of the Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club on Chapman Dam Road. Pine Grove Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report that sometime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on May 13, someone stole prescription medications from a residence on Priest Hollow Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 728-3600.

Youngsville

DUI. Wyatt D. Haines, 22, Warren, was stopped by members of the Warren County DUI Task Force and arrested for DUI on Sunday, May 15 shortly after 2 a.m. Officers stopped Haines for speeding, failure to stay in his lane, careless driving and eventually determined he was under the influence and unsafe to be driving a motor vehicle.

Disorderly conduct. Chavonne Peterson, 36, Youngsville, has been cited by Youngsville police for disorderly conduct after she was involved in a verbal argument with a known male at 44 W. Main St. Police said neighbors called to report the noise violation after midnight on Sunday, May 15. Charges were filed with District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Bench warrant. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies arrested Robert Brown, 33, Warren, on a magisterial bench warrant issued from District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. He was taken before Bauer and committed to the Warren County Jail.

Confinement of dogs. Warren City Police report that Paul Eaton, 46, Warren, was cited for confinement of dogs following an investigation into a report of a dog bite on May 6.

Indecent exposure. Warren City Police report that Ronald Decker, 21, Sugar Grove, was charged with dissemination of explicit sexual material to a minor, corruption of minors and indecent exposure on May 16 following an investigation. He was arraigned before District Justice Carlson and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.

Disorderly conduct. Warren City Police report that Jeanette Schock, 49, Warren, was charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a report of a female who had passed out in a public place on May 11. On May 12, Schock was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police responded to a report of an intoxicated female. She was placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment.

Disorderly conduct. Warren City Police report that Darren Green, 33, Warren, and Dustin Green, 30, Franklinville, N.Y., were both cited for disorderly conduct engage in fighting on May 11 after officers responded to a report of two males fighting.

Public drunkenness. Warren City Police report that Brian Ecklund, 38, Warren, was cited with public drunkenness on May 5 after police responded to a report of a male stumbling on a sidewalk.

Crash. Warren City Police report that Marie Perry, 85, Warren, was cited for a vehicle turning left violation on May 13 following a two-vehicle accident on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Curfew violation. Warren City Police report that Lisa Dunbar, 40, Warren, was cited for a curfew violation on May 14 after her underage child was found to be violating the curfew ordinance for a third time.

Harassment. Warren City Police report that Renee Steele, 22, Clarendon, and Tyler Steele, 24, Warren, were both cited for harassment on May 15 after police responded to a domestic dispute.

Cherry Grove Twp.

PFA violation. Warren-based state police report that between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on May 8, Anthony David Lanza, 22, Warren, violated a protection from abuse order. He was brought before District Justice Glenn Carlson and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.

Columbus Twp.

Burglary. Corry-based state police reported that on May 14 between 11:25 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. four unknown individuals entered a Nicki Way residence belonging to Sean Allean Bolvin, Corry, and vandalized the victim’s bedroom, damaging various things. Police said the individuals fled the scene in a white- or tan-color SUV-type vehicle. As the individual were fleeing, an older model truck pulled in the driveway and immediately pulled out as the SUV-type vehicle left the property. Police said it is unknown if both vehicles were together in this crime. Total value damaged is $220. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 663-2043.

Freehold Twp.

Criminal mischief. Corry-based state police reported that Janet Sue Kuykendall, Bear Lake, found her vehicle which had transmission fluid poured throughout the interior sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. on May 13. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 663-2043.

Mead Twp.

Public drunkenness. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 11:34 a.m. on May 17, deputies observed James Ecklund, 44, lying in a residence’s front yard near 220 N. Main St. in Clarendon. He was passed out with a juvenile male trying to wake him up. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and highly intoxicated. Ecklund was arrested for public drunkenness and placed in the Warren County Jail.

Pittsfield Twp.

Possession of a controlled substance. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies arrested John Rickert, 28, Pittsfield, on five magisterial bench warrants issued by District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. He was taken before Bauer, and later released. After further investigation, deputies located a controlled substance that Rickert did not have a prescription for, and charges were filed at District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

According to Warren-based state police, on Sunday, April 24 at approximately 12:47 a.m., someone entered a commercial property at 223 North Main St. and attached a dump trailer to their blue pickup truck, leaving the premises. DUI. According to Warren-based state police, on Friday, May 13 at approximately 10:44 a.m., a known suspect, 51, from Tidioute, was traveling north on Route 62 and crashed off the roadway. Police said that the suspect fled the scene prior to their arrival, and was located at her residence where she was determined to be operating the vehicle under the influence. According to police, the investigation is ongoing.

Cited. Warren City police said a 10-year-old juvenile was cited for criminal mischief on May 5 after officers responded to a report of a juvenile damaging a handicapped sign at a city-owned park.

Charged. Warren City police said Richard Delval, 41, Bentleyville, PA, was charged with DUI- third offense, DUI- accident, DUI – .16 percent or higher and one-way highways following a two-car accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue E. and Carver Street on April 30.

Cited. Warren City police said Jeromy Crowl, 39, Sugar Grove, was cited for public drunkenness on May 7 after police received a report of a man standing in the roadway at 12:40 p.m.

Cited. Warren City police said Joshua Haskins, 20, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on May 9 after officers responded to a report of a man attempting to get into a vehicle that was not his at 12:30 p.m.

Cited. Warren City police said John Talentinow, 27, Warren, was cited for duties at a stop sign on May 8 following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Water Street and Third Avenue.

Columbus Twp.

Crash. Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday, at Pike Road and Market Street, Columbus Township. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Kelly Watrous, 35, was driving east on Pike Road and attempted to turn left onto Market Street. The vehicle entered the path of a car driven by Maggie Ingram, 18, police said. Both drivers and one passenger in Ingram’s vehicle, a 16-year-old boy, were taken to Corry Memorial Hospital for treatment of “mild” injuries, according to police. A second passenger, a 15-year-old girl, was transported to UPMC-Hamot for treatment of moderate injuries. Police said all of the people involved in the crash were wearing their seat belts.

Conewango Twp.

Charged. Conewango Township Police charged Edgar A. Waters, 37, of Pittsfield with firearms ownership – providing false information, and false statements under penalty, at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, after an investigation into an alleged attempt by Waters to buy a firearm at Walmart on Dec. 24, 2015. Police said Waters is prohibited from owning a firearm and attempted to buy one.

Spring Creek Twp.

Mischief. Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information about an incident in which a window was shot out of a parked vehicle between 2 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on Beck Road, Spring Creek Township. Charged. Pennsylvania State Police have charged Benjamin H. Madigan, 19, of North Warren, with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to police, Madigan was stopped for a traffic violation at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, on Conewango Avenue at Pennsylvania Avenue and the drugs and paraphernalia were discovered inside his vehicle.

Youngsville

Found. A bicycle was turned into Youngsville Police on Tuesday, May 10. Police said the bicycle was found on a Second Street property and anyone missing a bicycle in the Youngsville area is asked to contact YPD at 563-7555.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. Pennsylvania State Police have cited Mabel L. Munoz, 61, of Sheffield, and Melissa M. Nelson, 32, of Sheffield, for retail theft. According to police, Munoz and Nelson took merchandise valued at $96.64 from Walmart at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 8.

Eldred Twp.

Mischief. Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information regarding damages done to a vehicle belonging to a Pittsfield man between 4 and 9 a.m. Sunday on Route 27 in Eldred Township. According to police, someone smashed the rigth from window of the victim’s 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Pine Grove Twp.

Found. Pennsylvania State Police recovered a safe in Pine Grove Township at 6:52 p.m. Saturday, May 7. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren-based state police.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to Erie St. in Irvine on May 4 at 11 p.m. for an incident where a known 31-year-old male and a known 28-year-old female, both of Warren, engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. A charge for harassment was filed against the unidentified male through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Columbus Twp.

Theft. Corry-based state police reported that sometime between 11:45 p.m. on May 4 and 7 a.m. on May 6 someone went to 25 E. Main St. and took a 2005 Yamaha YFZ 450, with white and black plastics and a red metal frame, that was parked behind the residence. Police said the last four numbers of the VIN are 3905. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact Corry PSP at 663-2043.

Spring Creek Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to a private residence on Horn Siding Ln. on May 6 at 1:21 a.m. when Scott Ryan Zimmerman, 29, and a known 28-year-old female, both of Spring Creek Twp., entered into a verbal argument which escalated into a physical confrontation. Police said a harassment charge was filed through District Justice Todd Woodin’s office.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Simple assault. Corry-based state police responded to a Hazelton Hollow Rd. residence on May 6 at 5:10 p.m. when William A. Saunders, 41, Sugar Grove, placed a known 15-year-old male into choke hold and struck the victim multiple times around the victim’s head, neck and face area. Police said Saunders was housed and awaiting arraignment at the Warren County Jail on charges of simple assault, domestic violence related.

Conewango Twp.

Hit and run. Conewango Township Police reported that sometime in mid-April Andrew Seither, 515 Water St., Warren, was driving his 2002 Nissan Sentra on Beckett Park in North Warren when he left the roadway and collided with a fire hydrant. The accident caused the hydrant to sustain substantial damage. Conewango police later located Seither’s vehicle in front of his residence on Water St. He was subsequently charged with accidents involving damage to unattended property, careless driving and driving without insurance.

Disorderly conduct. Conewango Township were notified on May 5 at 7:20 p.m. of an intoxicated female stumbling in the roadway on South State St. When officers arrived in the area, they found Tammy Swartz, 48, North Warren, lying in a grassy area in Beckett Park. EMS responded due to her level of intoxication. During their evaluation, Swartz became combative by kicking and scratching EMS personnel and police. Swartz was transported to Warren General Hospital for further evaluation. City of Warren police and EmergyCare assisted Conewango police on scene. Swartz was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Erie Co.

DUI. Corry-based state police reported that on May 6 Katelyn Benton, 30, Youngsville, was stopped for a summary traffic violation on US 6 west of Sr. 89 in Wayne Township. Upon further investigation, Benton was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Police said charges are pending for DUI and several summary traffic violations.

Forgery. Warren City police report that Randall Hornburg, 24, Warren, was charged with forgery, theft by deception, bad checks and false reports – reported offense did not occur following an investigation into a report of theft from his checking account.

Careless driving. Warren City police report that Joseph Blauser, 34, Warren, was cited for careless driving on April 17 following a two-vehicle accident on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Disorderly Conduct. Warren City police report that Michael Colvin, 26, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct on April 21 after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren City police report that Earnest Cumbie, 49, Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and theft of mislaid property on April 24 following an investigation into the theft of a purse.

Crash. Warren City police report that Brian Mineweaser, 50, Warren, was charged with accidents involving attended vehicles, passing when prohibited and failure to stop and render aid following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Conewango Avenue and Pioneer Street on April 22.

Careless driving. Warren City police report that Gary McDannel, 59, was cited for careless driving on April 26 following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Conewango avenues.

Liquor law violation. The state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement report that the Draft House identified Busch Light beer with a tap labeled Bud Light on Jan. 12, 2016. Charges were brought before an Administrative Law Judge who imposed a fine of $250 on the licensee.

Elk Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report that sometime between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on May 4, someone damaged a mailbox and antique milk can at 509 Roper Hollow Rd. Controlled substance possession. Warren-based state police report that at 10:38 p.m. on April 26, Sharon Lyn Abplanalp, 40, Warren, was stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop it was discovered that Abplanalp, a passenger in the vehicle, was in possession of a controlled substance. Police said charges were filed through District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

DUI. Warren-based state police report that at 1:45 a.m. on April 16, Mark Christopher Hartzell, 36, Kane, was found to be driving under the influence after being stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Locust Street. Police said charges were filed through District Justice Glenn Carlsons office.

Columbus Twp.

Bench warrant. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested John Richard Frontera on May 4 on a bench warrant for failure to appear for Plea Court on April 7. He was committed to the Warren County Jail awaiting further court action.

Conewango Twp.

DUI. Conewango Township Police report that at 2:39 a.m. on April 17 officers were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot for reports of an intoxicated man attempting to get on a motorcycle. When officers arrived, James Robert Todd Highhouse, 21, Warren, crashed his motorcycle while trying to park. He was taken to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing, and was subsequently arrested for two counts of driving under the influence and summary traffic violations including operating a motorcycle without required endorsements.

DUI. Conewango Township Police report that at 9:25 a.m. on April 20, Clifton Bryan Larson, 57, Russell, was stopped after police received calls of an intoxicated driver. During the investigation, Larson was found to be under the influence. He was subsequently arrested and transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing. Larson was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and other summary violations.

Dogs running loose. Conewango Township Police report that at 7:45 a.m. on May 4, a black Labrador Retriever and a brown pitbull owned by Jennifer Blake were running loose on Yankee Bush Road. Police said while running loose, the dogs chased another resident and her dog into a garage. Blake was charged with failing to keep her dogs confined and under control.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police report that at 4:11 p.m. on May 2, officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of a retail theft. Police said Paige Crawford, 43, Russell, was stopped by Walmart loss prevention personnel after she attempted to leave the store with $67.13 worth of unpaid miscellaneous merchandise. Police said a non-traffic citation has been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

DUI. Conewango Township police report that at 12:25 p.m. on April 13, Susan Flasher, 50, Warren, was stopped and investigated for a traffic complaint and was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol and prescription medicine. Police said she was subsequently arrested and transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing. After receiving the results of the testing, police said Flasher will be charged with three counts of DUI and summary traffic violations. Charges will be filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office in Warren.

Garland

Terroristic threats. Warren-based state police report that at 9:05 p.m. on April 30, Chet Aaron Anthony, 26, Garland, forced his way into a victim’s residence on Bristo Lane in Garland, and after leaving, he sent several text messages via cell phone threatening to kill the victim. Police said Anthony was arrested for terroristic threats and criminal trespass.

Tidioute

DUI. Warren-based state police report that at 11 p.m. on April 27, Tyer Edson Sutton, 28, Tidioute, was investigated for a traffic complaint and was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol at the time. He was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the state police barracks for chemical testing and processing. Police said charges include two counts of DUI, careless driving and other summary traffic violations. Charges will be filed at District Justice Todd Woodin’s office in Youngsville.

Pittsfield Twp.

Probation violation. Warren County Adult Probation report that on April 27, officers of the probation department, with the assistance of Warren-based state police, arrested Joseph Andrew Krall, Jr., 33, Pittsfield, on charges of violation of probation. He was originally placed on probation on a charge of disorderly conduct. Krall was taken into custody on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
