Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 10 p.m. on July 27 and 4 a.m. on July 28 someone pried open a toolbox in the bed of a truck belonging to Robert Joseph Anderson, Center St., Clarendon, and removed a Craftsman socket wrench set from inside. The toolbox was damaged beyond repair. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Youngsville
Theft. Youngsville police are investigating a theft that occurred sometime between Frinday night, July 24, and Saturday morning, July 25. It was reported that two fire rings were taken from the back yard of 133 W. Main St. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 563-7555 or Warren County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-83crime.

DUI crash. State police reported that at 12:10 a.m. on July 4, Andrew John Sheldon, 29, Panama, N.Y., was operating a 2001 Subaru Legacy, traveling west on Stillwater Road, when he left the right side of the roadway in a left-hand curve and struck a tree head-on. Sheldon left the scene, and was located on foot a short time later. Charges were filed through District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office.

Indecent exposure. State police reported that at 12:50 p.m. on July 20, a woman was retrieving mail from a mailbox at the end of her driveway on Mohawk Avenue and, as she was returning up her driveway, George Kenneth Main, 49, Warren, allegedly exposed his penis towards her. Charges of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct against Main were filed through District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office.

Cited. Warren City Police said Aaron Johnson, 22, Warren, was cited for unlawful to allow dogs to run at large on July 6.
Charged. Warren City Police said Mackenzie Franklin, 21, Warren, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop on July 6.
Cited. Warren City Police said John Caldwell, 68, Warren, was cited for harassment on July 7 after a report was made that he was repeatedly harassing a person by phone. Police said he was placed in the Warren County Jail on a probation violation.
Cited. Warren City Police said David Sarantoulias, 18, Kersey, Pa., was cited for obedience to traffic control devices following a two-car accident at the intersection of Market Street and Fifth Avenue on July 7.
Charged. Warren City Police said Laura Welch, 26, Irvine, was charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct engage in fighting and harassment on July 7 after police responded to a report of a fight in progress. Police said she was placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment.
Cited. Warren City Police said Regina Sherman, 34, Russell, was cited for duties at stop signs following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue W. and Third Avenue on July 8.
Cited. Warren City Police said Leslie McIntyre, 44, Lakewood, N.Y., was cited for careless driving on July 10 following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue E. and Parker Street.
Cited. Warren City Police said Zachariah Sobkowski, 32, Jamestown, N.Y., was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct on July 10 following a report of an assault.
Cited. Warren City Police said Nikki Hamm, 21, Sugar Grove, was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic on July 12 following a two-vehicle accident on Third Avenue.
Charged. Warren City Police said Juan Castillo, 37, Warren, was charged with criminal trespass, defiant trespass on July 13 after police responded to a report of a known male in a residence and was refusing to leave. Police said Castillo was placed in the Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Cited. Warren City Police said Jessica Shepherd, 39, Warren, was cited for noise disturbance on July 16 after police received a call regarding a dog continually barking.
Mead Twp.
Hit and run. State police report that at 8:30 a.m. on July 22, an unknown person hit and damaged three mailboxes on Route 59, then fled the scene traveling east.
Tidioute
Theft by unlawful taking. State police report that between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on July 18, someone removed seven pairs of jeans and six t-shirts from a dryer inside the laundromat. Anyone with informations is asked to contact state police at 728-3600 or Warren County Crimestoppers at 800-832-7463.
Jamestown, N.Y.
Bad checks. Warren state police report there is an investigation into a known 44-year-old Clarendon man making a purchase at Hector’s Sales in Jamestown with a check for an account with insufficient funds. The purchase was made sometime between 8 a.m. on October 8, 2014 and 10:35 a.m. on July 12.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police report that officers were dispatched to Walmart at 5 p.m. on July 20 for a retail theft. Natosha Lloyd, 32, Warren, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft after she was caught by Walmart Loss Prevention personnel while attempting to leave the store with $304.69 worth of merchandise. A criminal complaint was filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Eldred Twp.
DUI. Pennsylvania State Police report that at 4:32 p.m. on July 4, John David Guzowski, 58, Erie, was involved in a one vehicle crash, when his vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch and became stuck. His vehicle was removed from the ditch by a passing motorist. When police arrived, police suspected that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. He was arrested for DUI, transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing and then processed at the Warren barracks. Charges against Guzowski include three counts of DUI, careless driving and other summary violations. Charges will be filed at District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office in Youngsville.
Youngsville
DUI. Youngsville police report that Lacy Honey, Warren, was stopped by Youngsville Police on Rt. 6 at approximately 10 a.m. on July 23 for a traffic violation. During the stop it was determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance. She was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Honey was transported to Warren General Hospital for a blood draw and later released to a relative. Charges will be filed at District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office at a later date, police said.
Criminal mischief. Youngsville police report that a W. Main St. resident reported that sometime before 10 p.m. on July 21, someone smashed a glass rear door window of the residence. It is not believed that anyone gained entry or that anything was taken. Anyone with information is asked to call Youngsville police at 563-7555.
Erie Co.
Bench warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Douglas Ray Moore, Sr., 26, at the Erie County Jail on July 24 on a bench warrant for failure to appear for fine and costs court. He was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

DUI. Conewango Township police were called to the parking lot of the Warren Commons for an unresponsive female behind the wheel of a motor vehicle on June 1 at 10 a.m. Rosalee Renninger, 48, Russell, was found in control of the vehicle and under the influence of a controlled substance. EmergyCare were called to assist to evaluate Renninger’s physical condition. Following lab results of a blood sample, Renninger was charged with one count of DUI: Controlled substance. Police said the charge was filed on June 12.
Pine Grove Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a three-vehicle accident on July 20 at 12:36 a.m. on Route 62 south of Old Russell Road. A tree had fallen and was blocking the southbound lane of Route 62 between Old Russell Road and Valentine Run Road. A 2001 Ford F-250, driven by Rodney N. Birt, Warren, was stopped in the northbound lane just south of the fallen tree. A 2007 Hyundai, driven by Collin J. Catalfu, 20, Warren, was traveling south and swerved into the northbound lane in an effort to avoid the tree and hit Birt’s vehicle. A 2010 Kia Sportage, driven by Robyn L. Bates, Warren, was traveling south and also swerved to miss the tree and rear ended Catalfu’s vehicle. Bates’ vehicle also struck Birt’s vehicle. Minor injuries were reported by a couple of passengers in the vehicles and one individual was taken to Warren General Hospital for treatment. None of the drivers were cited, according to the press release.
Michigan
Warrant arrest. At about 8:15 a.m. on July 22 Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jonathan Williams, 28, Jamestown, N.Y., at the Central Michigan Correctional Facility in St. Louis, Mich., on a supervisors warrant issued by the Warren County Adult Probation Department for violating probation on original charges of theft and criminal trespass as well as a warrant for failure to appear for fines and costs, owing over $22,000. He was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Triumph Twp.
DUI crash. State police report that at 12:19 am on July 21, a known 53 year-old male from Tidioute was traveling west on Route 127 approximately one-half mile west of Campbell Hill Road when he lost control while negotiating a right-hand curve. His vehicle traveled about 300 feet northwest, crossed both lanes of travel and struck a bridge on the south side of the roadway. The impact caused the vehicle to spin counterclockwise and travel backwards another 30 feet before coming to rest facing west in both lanes of travel.
Tidioute
Parole violation. On July 21, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from Pennsylvania State Police, arrested Donald C. Gesin, 53, Tidioute, on charges of violation of parole. Police said they found Gesin in an intoxicated state while investigating a one-vehicle crash south of Tidioute. Gesin, who was paroled in 2014 on the charge of endangering the welfare of a child, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action. Troopers said that Gesin faces new criminal charges as a result of the recent vehicular crash.

Crash. Conewango Township police responded to a two-vehicle accident on July 18 at 1:52 p.m. at the Kwik Fill by the Warren Mall. According to police, Jeremy J. Brumfield, 33, Jamestown, N.Y., was traveling south in his Chevrolet pickup on Market Street when he attempted to turn into the gas station. Police said Brumfield did not see Brooke E. Vanhouten, who was traveling north on Market Street in her silver Subaru sedan and turned into the path of Vanhouten causing the accident. No injuries were reported in the accident. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police said they filed a citation against Brumfield for vehicles turning left.
Pine Grove Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on July 18 at 9:30 p.m. a known 31-year-old female, a resident of Conewango Township, and a known 56-year-old male, a resident of Pine Grove Township, became involved in a verbal argument that turned physical at a private residence on Priest Hollow Road. Police said both were charged with non-traffic citations through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Warrant arrest. At 8:12 a.m. on July 18, Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Scott Cressley, 39, Warren, at 219 Jefferson St. on a bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for his domestic relations hearing for non-payment of child support. He was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Glade Twp.
Found property. Warren-based state police reported that a mailbox still attached to its post was located in the area of Conewango Avenue and Maeder Lane. It was turned over to state police as found property. The owner may contact the state police with a description to claim the property.
Southwest Twp.
Crash. Corry-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Enterprise Road, east of Duncan Road, on July 17 at 3:37 p.m. According to police, a 2008 Yamaha V Star motorcycle, driven by Philip A. Taylor, 44, Titusville, was traveling west when a fox ran onto the roadway. The motorcycle struck the fox and Taylor lost control causing him to lay the motorcycle on its side. Police said the motorcycle slid before striking a guide rail. Taylor was transported to UPMC Hamot, Erie, where he was later discharged with what police say were minor injuries.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Tidioute Enterprise Road, east of Colorado Road, on July 16 at 4:10 p.m. According to police, a 2002 Dodge Dakota, driven by Duane R. Downey, 82, Grand Valley, was traveling west on Tidioute Enterprise Road and attempted to turn into his driveway. A 2007 Pontiac G6, driven by Aaron T. McCauley, 35, Tidioute, was traveling east at what police described as a “speed greater than was reasonable” and struck Downey’s vehicle on the passenger’s side. Police said McCauley was not injured and Downey sustained minor injuries in the crash. Police said McCauley was cited for unsafe speed.
Clarendon
Found property. Warren-based state police reported that on July 17 at 1:22 p.m. a bicycle was found at 2 Erie St., Clarendon. Anyone wishing to claim the bicycle is asked to call state police.
Youngsville
Warrant arrest. At 10:32 a.m. on July 18, Warren County Sheriff’s deputies assisted by state parole and Warren County Adult Probation arrested Nicole R. Johnson, 32, Youngsville, at her apartment on a supervisors warrant issued by the Warren County Adult Probation Department for violating probation. Johnson was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Crash. Warren-based state police said they responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 6 west of Deer Lick Road on July 16 at 8:43 p.m. According to police, a 2007 Ford Explorer, driven by Rosezella R. Andrea, 87, Clarendon, was traveling east, approached the Hillside Bar, placed her left turn signal on and attempted to make a left hand turn across the westbound lane of Route 6. Police said the vehicle entered the path of a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Jacob R. Johnson, 18, Sheffield, which was traveling at approximately 45 miles per hour. Johnson’s took his vehicle off the roadway attempting to miss Andrea, but the two vehicles collided. Johnson’s vehicle spun 90 degrees, slid approximately 75 feet before striking a utility pole, spun 270 degrees and slid for 20 additional feet before coming to rest in the tree line. Andrea’s vehicle slid approximately 45 feet before coming to rest in the parking lot of Hillside Bar. Johnson and two passengers were taken to Warren General Hospital via private vehicle for unknown injuries. Andrea was transported to Warren General Hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. Sheffield volunteer firefighters responded to the scene. Police said Andrea was cited for vehicle turning left.
Mercer County
Warrant arrest. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested Megan Marie Decker, 24, Mercer, at the Mercer County Jail on a bench warrant for failure to appear for sentence court. Decker will stand committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Age compliance checks. On July 15 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement officers assigned to the Erie district office supervised an underage buyer to conduct age compliance checks in Erie and Warren counties. A total of six age compliance checks were conducted at establishments licensed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, of which four were found to be in non-compliance, in that the licensed establishments sold alcoholic beverages to underage individuals trained by police. The other two establishments did not sell to the buyer. Cronie’s Pub and Towne Tavern were in compliance. Police did not detail the entities not in compliance.
Sugar Grove
Retail theft. Warren-based state police reported that on July 15 at 12:45 a.m. a known 15-year-old male, Sugar Grove Borough, took 16 dressing packets from Kwik Fill in Sugar Grove without paying. Police said charges were filed via non-traffic citation through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

DUI. Warren-based state police conducted a traffic stop on June 23 at 1:42 a.m. at McPherson Street and Wood Street. police said Brian F. Johnson, 41, Warren, was found to be driving under the influence. Charges were filed through District Judge Glenn Carlson’s office.

Firearms violation. According to Warren-based state police, on Feb. 26 a known suspect falsified ATF form 4473 in an attempt to purchase a firearm at C&H Sports in Columbus. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police received a report that someone knocked over a headstone at St. Joseph Cemetery between 5 p.m. on July 13 and 9 a.m. on July 14. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Burglary. Warren-based state police said between June 20 and July 2, someone broke into a camp through the back door on State Lot Road belonging to Thomas Swanson and stole a Remington pump action .22 rifle and Motorola radios. Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 12 at 2:20 p.m. on Pa. 957 west of Mud Run Rd. A 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by Jessica L. Lookenhouse, 36, Russell, was traveling west on Rt. 957. Police said Lookenhouse took her eyes off of the road to look into the backseat and lost control of the vehicle, striking the right shoulder and ditch and subsequently rolled to the driver’s side, come to rest on the vehicle’s roof. Police said Lookenhouse and a 10-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene. A 7-year-old male was not injured. Police said the vehicle was towed by Chase Car Care and that Lookenhouse was cited for careless driving.
Pittsfield Twp.
Burglary. According to state police, between Tuesday, July 7 and Wednesday, July 8, someone stole a bike from 31220 Route 6. The bike is described as a 20″, United-Recruit BMX bicycle. Police say the bike is orange with black handle bars, chrome-spoke rims and has multiple stickers on it. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Burglary. Corry-based state police said between Wednesday, July 1 and Saturday, July 11, someone broke into the home of Regina Zeyzus, 53, Columbus, and stole jewelry and antique items. Anyone with information is asked to contact Corry-based state police.

Probation violation. On July 10, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from City of Warren police, arrested John Timothy Caldwell, 68, Warren, on charges of violation of probation. Over a thirty-day period, Caldwell continued to make numerous harassing phone calls to individuals, businesses and law enforcement agencies, despite warnings to cease such behavior. The most recent phone messages were directed to Judge William F. Morgan, but were left on the residential answering machine of a local doctor. Caldwell, who was originally placed on probation on the charge of resisting arrest, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Columbus Twp.
Theft by unlawful taking. Corry-based state police reported that between 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. someone took a bank deposit bag containing money and checks from Allegheny Power Equipment during business hours. Police said the incident is still under investigation.
Erie Co.
Parole violation. On July 9, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Charles A. Stewart, 32, Waterford, on charges of violation of parole. After receiving a bizarre phone call from Stewart, probation officers traveled to Waterford and found him to be in a highly intoxicated state. Stewart was taken into custody and transported to the emergency room for medical clearance before being committed to the Warren County Jail on a supervisor’s warrant, pending further court action.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that they are investigating a burglary that occurred between 10:30 a.m. on July 6 and 4 p.m. on July 8, on Howard Rd., someone entered a residence belonging to Ernest K. Disorderly conduct and harassment. Douglas Muzzy, 24, and Frank Szarowicz, 41, both of Warren, were cited for disorderly conduct and harassment on July 7 after city police received a report of a past tense physical altercation.
Disorderly conduct/engage in fighting. Shyanna Matsock, 19, Russell, and a 17-year-old juvenile, Warren, were cited for disorderly conduct/engage in fighting on July 4 following a fight that occurred during the Fourth of July parade.
Public drunkenness. R. Frank Gray, 65, Cambridge Springs, was charged with public drunkenness on July 4 after city police received multiple reports of a drunken male repeatedly falling out of his chair during the Fourth of July parade.
Disorderly conduct. John Porr, 45, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct on July 4 after city police officers witnessed a large firework being set off during the Fourth of July parade.
Disorderly conduct. Brian Jashurek, 20 and Kenndal Russell, 20, both of Warren, were cited for disorderly conduct after city police responded to a report of a disturbance on July 4 at 2:55 a.m.
Underage drinking. Hashaun Leeper, 18, and three juveniles were cited for underage drinking on July 4 after city police officers came into contact with them being out past the City of Warren’s Curfew Ordinance at 1:20 a.m.
Public drunkenness. Richard Redfield, 50, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on July 4 after he was witnessed to be stumbling into the roadway by city police officers.
Simple assault and harassment. Taylor Holcomb, 24, Warren, was charged with simple assault and harassment on July 4 after city police responded to a domestic dispute. He was placed in the Warren County Jail on an emergency commitment.
Operation of a vehicle without inspection. Drake Marcotte, 22, Youngsville, was cited for operation of a vehicle without inspection on July 5 following a two-vehicle accident on Hickory Street.
Underage drinking. Kenndal Russell, 20, Warren, was cited for underage drinking on July 3 and July 5 after city police came into contact with her both days and found her to be in an intoxicated state.
Right-of-way to pedestrians. Kristine Smith, 52, Warren, was cited for right of way to pedestrians in crosswalk following a traffic accident on June 30 where a pedestrian was stuck at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Liberty Street.
Harassment. Lori Jashurek, 44, and Brenda Knisley, 38, both of Warren, were cited for harassment on June 30 after city police responded to a report of a verbal argument.
Columbus Twp.
Theft by deception. Corry-based state police reported that on June 16 at 10:30 a.m. a known suspect, identified by police as a 27-year-old male, Spartansburg, sold two firearms a Remington Model 700 rifle and Stevens Model 62 .22 caliber rifle to C&H Sports, both of which were stolen. Police said the business suffered a loss of $300. The investigation is ongoing.
Crash. Corry-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on July 5 at 9:30 p.m. on Locey Road. south of Route 426. A 1994 Ford F-150, driven by Ricky L. Powell, 50, Corry, struck a 2007 Dodge Durango, driven by David L. Bemis, 58, Corry. Severe damage was observed to both vehicles, according to police. Powell sustained minor injuries in the accident. Bemis and a passenger, Tiffany Bemis, 33, also of Corry, were not injured, according to police, who said Powell was cited for numerous vehicle code violations.
Mead Twp.
Simple assault. Warren-based state police reported that on July 4 at 5:24 a.m. a known 29-year-old male and known 32-year-old female, both of Clarendon, entered into a verbal argument which became physical in nature, resulting from a domestic dispute. Police said both received bodily injuries. Charges of simple assault and harassment were filed against the male while the female faces a charge of harassment. Police did not identify the suspects.
Pleasant Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police report that at approximately 2:30 p.m. on July 7, George Main, 49, Warren, subjected a 65-year-old victim to unwanted physical contact. Police said a non-traffic citation was filed through District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office for harassment.
Spring Creek
Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that on June 28 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. someone was in a residence belonging to Doris Mae Johnson, Picidilly Hill, Corry, and took a Kindle before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Sugar Grove
Twp.
DUI crash. Warren-based state police report that at 12:36 a.m. on July 5, a known 22-year-old suspect was traveling west on Route 69 approximately one-half mile south of Brown Run when the suspect’s vehicle failed to negotiate a right hand curve. The vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway, striking a traffic sign. The vehicle continued to travel approximately 60 feet west and struck a parked vehicle. The vehicle continued approximately another 80 feet before becoming airborne. The vehicle was airborne for another 20 feet before landing, and continued to travel another 110 feet before striking two more parked vehicles. Police said one of the vehicles was pushed into a residence, causing injury to a resident inside. After striking the parked vehicles, the suspect’s vehicle rolled over, traveling another 60 feet, sheared off a utility pole and struck a fourth parked vehicle before coming to rest on its passenger side, facing southwest. The driver of the vehicle was flown to UPMC Hamot in Erie, and the resident was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment. Police said charges are pending. Police did not release the name of the accused.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 6 at 5:29 p.m. on Jackson Run Road. According to police, a 2003 Subaru Legacy, driven by Casey M. Warner, 25, Warren, was eastbound on Jackson Run Road and swerved to miss a dead crow in the roadway. The vehicle’s passenger side tires left the eastbound shoulder of the road and caught the soft dirt shoulder. Warner attempted to regain control but over-corrected the steering wheel, causing her to lose control of the vehicle on the wet roadway. The vehicle traveled approximately 45 feet along the shoulder before striking a large tree. Upon impact, the vehicle rotated approximately 45 degrees clockwise before coming to rest. Police said Warner sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Warren General Hospital via Sugar Grove ambulance for treatment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Sugar Grove and Lander volunteer firefighters assisted on scene with traffic control and medical treatment.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between 10 p.m. on June 29 and 6:30 a.m. on June 30 someone scratched the driver-side door and gas tank cover of a vehicle belonging to Brenda Ann Stover, Warren, that was located at a Garden Lane residence. Cited. Warren-based state police said Daniel R. Johnson, 34, Youngsville, was cited for scattering rubbish following an incident on Smith Hill Road, west of Paige Hollow Road, at 5:26 p.m. on July 6. According to police, Johnson tossed various household items and belongings over an embankment. Police said he was cited through District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between June 21 and June 29 Geoffrey Laurance Nelson, 28, noticed items missing from his residence following a known 25-year female, Warren, moving out. Police said charges are pending; they did not release the name of the suspect.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between July 1 and July 4 someone broke a window on property belonging to Steven K. Kodrzycki, Edinboro, located on Hunt Road, with an unknown projectile. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Youngsville
DUI and drug possession. Warren-based state police reported that on June 6 at 3:19 a.m. Nicole Renee Walters, 34, Youngsville, was stopped for a traffic violation and believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Police said they discovered she was in possession of marijuana and a pipe used for smoking marijuana. Police said charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and summary traffic violations were filed against Walters through District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office.

Burglary. Conewango Township Police are looking for information regarding a break-in between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 8:15 a.m. Saturday at JZ’s Texas Hots in North Warren. According to police, the burglar broke into both the restaurant and storage shed but cutting padlocks. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police.
Glade Twp.
Assault. Pennsylvania State Police said they have charged Jared Douglass Eisenbrown, 26, Warren, with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly became involved in a verbal disagreement that turned physical with a 29-year-old Warren woman at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at a Holly Street residence. According to police, the victim was injured and Eisenbrown was taken to Warren County Jail for probation violation. Charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Clarendon
Theft. Pennsylvania State Police said they are looking for information regarding the theft of two plastic goose flower pots from a Winger Avenue residence. According to police, someone took the items on Friday, July 3. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Conewango Twp.
Charged. Conewango Township Police report that at 10:36 a.m. on July 2, Travis Michael Lyon, Pittsfield, was taken into custody on a warrant by a state constable at his place of employment. During the arrest, the constable found a metal pipe used for inhaling narcotics and a small amount of marijuana. Conewango Township Police responded to the scene and charged Travis with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Retail theft. Conewango Township Police report that at 1:30 p.m. on July 2, Wal-Mart Loss Prevention personnel observed Savannah Joan Kyler, Sheffield, conceal $102.28 worth of merchandise and attempt to leave the store without paying for it. Police said after being confronted, Kyler fled the store on foot. Police searched the area and apprehended Kyler in a nearby parking lot, and charged her with one count of retail theft.

Cited. Warren City Police said Joshua Ingersoll, 26, Warren was cited for dogs to be licensed and failure to provide proof of vaccination on June 24 following an investigation of a dog bite.
Charged. Warren City Police said Steven Capen, 60, Clarendon, was charged with retail theft on June 24 after police responded to Thorne’s BiLo after he attempted to leave the store without paying for $18.97 worth of merchandise.
Cited. Warren City Police said Virginia Kiser, 49, Russell, was cited for sale of tobacco during a tobacco compliance check in accordance with state Department of Health regulations on June 25 after she sold tobacco products to someone less than 18 years of age.
Arrested. Warren City Police said Richard Hanson, 32, Warren, was taken into custody on an active warrant from Erie County. He was placed in Warren County Jail to await the Erie County authorities.
Conewango Twp.
Theft by deception. Conewango Township Police report that Nicole Lee Messenger, Corry, was charged for a past-tense theft of $370.46 worth of merchandise and money from Maurices. She was charged with three misdemeanors, one each of theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking and one of retail theft through District Justice Laura Bauer, pending further court action.
Southwest Twp.
DUI crash. Warren-based state police report that at 12:57 a.m. on June 7, Jessie Leroy Newton, 49, Franklin, was traveling west on Tidioute-Enterprise Road, and while negotiation a left-hand curve, his vehicle crossed the center divider line and entered the eastbound lane. His vehicle re-entered the westbound lane and traveled approximately 120 feet before exiting the roadway onto the north side of the road. His vehicle struck the embankment, and rotated clockwise, rolled over one complete time and traveled approximately 30 feet before coming to rest on the passenger side, facing north. During the investigation of the crash, it was determined that Newton was driving under the influence. Charges were filed through District Justice Arthur Zerbe’s office.
Youngsville Borough
DUI/ Drug Arrest. Youngsville police report that on Friday, June 26, 2015 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Bobby Orr of Frewsburg, N.Y., was arrested by Youngsville Police for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police seized a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a search of Orr’s vehicle. Charges will be filed through Judge Zerbe’s office.
