Arrested. At about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 28, Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Holmes, 26, 4115 Market St. Warren, on a bench warrant from the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for fines and cost court. Holmes was placed in Warren County Prison for further court action.

Arrested. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reported that on Nov. 19, deputies arrested Thomas Christeson, 29, 4 1/2 Center St., Warren, at the Warren County Court House on a bench warrant for failure to appear for fines and cost court by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas. Christeson was placed in Warren County Prison for further court action.

Arrested. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies on Nov. 19 arrested Nikkia Lindstrom, 25, 104 Buchanan St., Warren, on a bench warrant from the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for fines and cost court. Lindstrom was placed in Warren County Prison for further court action.

Arrested. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies on Nov. 19 arrested Brandon Busche, 26, 124 Elm St., Warren, on a bench warrant for failure to appear for fines and cost court by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas. Busche was placed in Warren County Prison for further court action.

Arrested. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies on Nov. 28 arrested Tyler Whipple, 24, 70 Davis School Rd., Washington, Pa., on a bench warrant for failure to appear in Warren County Court of Common Pleas for fines and cost court. Whipple was placed in Warren County Prison for further court action.

Arrested. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies on Nov. 28 arrested Tina Mosher, 46, 607 Whipple St., Sheffield, on a bench warrant for failure to appear in Warren County Court of Common Pleas for fines and cost court. Mosher was placed in Warren County Prison for further court action.

Chautauqua

County, N.Y.

DWAI. According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, at around 11:47 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, Sheriff’s patrol stopped Hugo Rosendahl, 47, Warren, for not staying in his lane and a loud exhaust. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says Rosendahl was arrested for driving while his ability was impaired by drugs and is set to appear in Ellicott Town Court.

Columbus Twp.

Trespass. Corry-based state police reported that on Nov. 25 at 9:30 p.m. Christopher A. Silka, 40, Sherman, NY, entered onto the property of the victim, Donald Elton McKuhn, 57, Center Rd., after being told not to do so on a previous occasion. Silka admitted to being on the property at the time alleged. Charges will be filed for trespass and related offenses, police said, though District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Scattering rubbish. Corry-based state police reported that someone deposited rubbish on property belonging to Charles F. Snyder, Factory Rd., Corry. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police. The investigation continues.

Mead Twp.

DUI crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Nov. 22 at 5:47 p.m. on US 6, west of the Glade Bridge. A 2003 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Brian W. Smith, 37, Clarendon, was traveling west on US 6 and lost control for an unknown reason and traveled off the right side of the roadway where the roadway curved slightly to the left. The vehicle continued west and struck a guard rail with the front of the vehicle. The vehicle continued approximately 100 feet before stopping. Police said Smith was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI. A passenger, Maridith L. Weakley, 32, Warren, sustained what police described as minor injuries and was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment.

Pleasant Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between Oct. 20 and Nov. 22 someone broke two windows out of a camp belonging to James Harshaw, Wexford, located on Stoney Mt. Ln. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Watson Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Rt. 337 at its intersection with Hearts Content Rd. on Nov. 22 at 2:30 p.m. A 2007 Cadillac STS, driven by Matthew A. Melquist, 38, Erie, was traveling south on 337 and failed to negotiate a right curve. The vehicle slid off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Melquist sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident, police said. A passenger, William J. Lazar, 38, Erie, was transported to Warren General Hospital by Transcare for treatment of moderate injuries. Melquist was not cited.

Charged. Warren City police said Rufus Frederick Jr., 24, Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of automobiles, two counts of DUI and driving while DUI suspended after officers received a report of a stolen vehicle on Nov. 15.

Cited. Warren City police said Joshua Tucker, 29, and Carli Braine, 28, both of Warren, were cited for harassment after officers responded to a domestic dispute on Nov. 19.

Cited. Warren City police said Kimberly Russ, 49, Spartansburg, was cited with a red light violation following a two-car accident at the intersection of Conewango and Fifth avenues on Nov. 19.

Public drunkenness. Warren-based state police said that on Nov. 23 at 12:16 a.m. Charles Samuel Ferraro, 49, Warren, was stumbling east at the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave. E. and Alson St. when he approached a car which was pulled over for a traffic violation. Ferraro approached the stopped vehicle and pressed his face against the glass. He was then approached, identified and found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was cited with public drunkenness through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Mead Twp.

Aggravated assault. Warren-based state police reported that on Nov. 25 at 4:17 a.m. Ralph Parks Haight IV, 35, entered into a verbal argument with a known 25-year-old female at a private residence on Griff Hill Rd. The incident turned physical and Haight hit the victim multiple times, eventually causing loss of consciousness and substantial injury to the facial area. Haight was charged and arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. Haight was committed to the Warren County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Pine Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident n Nov. 21 at 3:27 a.m. on Rt. 62 north of Old Russell Rd. A 2000 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Diana S. Means, 48, Warren, was traveling north on 62, negotiating a left hand curve in the roadway. The vehicle began to slide, rotating 45 degrees and continuing to slide approximately 30 feet before striking the guide rail on the east side of the roadway. Police said the interia of the impact caused the vehicle to travel backwards, across both lanes of traffic, approximately 25 feet before striking the guide rail on the west side of the roadway. The vehicle continued an additional 90 feet before coming to rest. Police said Means was not injured. Police cited her for accidents involving damage.

Clarendon

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 6 north of Railroad Street on Tuesday at 4:25 p.m. According to police, a 2012 Dodge Caravan, driven by Stephanie A. Demko, 32, Sheffield, was traveling east on Route 6 and a 2010 Mercury Milan, driven by Helen Littlefield, 84, Tiona, was stopped at a steady red traffic light. Police said Demko’s vehicle failed to slow down quickly enough, resulting in her vehicle striking Littlefield’s vehicle in the rear bumper. Both vehicles pulled onto the southern berm under their own power. Minor injuries were reported by a juvenile in Demko’s vehicle, according to police, who was transported to Warren General Hospital by Clarendon Ambulance. Police said neither driver was cited

Harassment. According to Pennsylvania State Police, at 8:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, Paul Kocur, 54, 1519 Lanning Hill Road, was cited for harassment after pushing an unnamed victim and knocking her onto the floor.

Glade Twp.

Attempted burglary. According to Pennsylvania State Police, between 6:20 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, someone tried to break into a house on Whitney Street in Warren by prying the storm door. Police say the suspect wasn’t able to get in, but did cause $200 in damage to the door. Anyone with information should contact Pennsylvania State Police or Crime Stoppers.

Theft. Pennsylvania State Police say someone stole a blue/green, 9-foot 8-inch kayak from an outside display at Wiggers between 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m on Thursday. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police or Crime Stoppers.

Crash. Pennsylvania State Police said on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 12:30 a.m., a 2005 Jeep Liberty driven by Deserae Leeper, 19, Warren, struck a bridge rail on Route 6 while exiting onto National Forge Road due to the bridge being ice-covered. Police said, the car continued to travel west about 230 feet before stopping facing west on the exit for National Forge Road Passenger Caleb Couse, 25, Youngsville, suffered moderate injury and was transported by Youngsville Volunteer Fire Dept.

Columbus Twp.

Crash. According to Corry-based Pennsylvania State Police, at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country veered off the road and hit a telephone pole. Driver Heather Waring, 33, Meadville, suffered minor injury, according to police, and passengers in the car were not hurt. Waring was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Crash. Corry-based Pennsylvania State Police say at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, David Persing, 69, Pittsfield, lost control of his 2004 Ford Ranger on an icy section of Route 6. Police said, the car hit a mailbox and entered a ditch, flipped onto its roof before hitting a tree. Persing was not injured.

Conewango Twp.

Burglary. Conewango Township Police say between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, someone broke into a Conewango Township home on Mason Road and stole a bottle of prescription pain pills. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conewango Township Police Department.

Glade Twp.

Crash. According to Pennsylvania State Police, a 2006 Ford F350 driven by John Suppa, 52, Warren, slid into the oncoming lane on Fifth Avenue Extension on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 11:10 p.m. The car entered a ditch and overturned onto its roof, according to police. Suppa was not injured.

Sheffield

Harassment. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Casey McClain, 25, Sheffield, was cited for summary harassment through District Judge Glenn Carlson after an investigation for a domestic dispute that took place between 7 and 10 a.m. Thursday.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Nov. 15 at 8:05 a.m. A 1999 Volkswagen Beetle, driven by Bailey R. Pretak, 28, Wilcox, Pa., was traveling west on US 6 and engaged in a right hand curve. The vehicle slid across the dotted white line traveling approximately 75 feet in a southwest direction across the right lane, prior to striking a concrete barrier dividing the west and eastbound lanes. The vehicle rotated counter-clockwise impacting multiple sides as it traveled along the barrier for approximately 60 feet. The vehicle continued to travel west for an additional 240 feet as it spun counterclockwise, completing multiple rotations. Pretak was not injured in the crash but was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Nov. 14 at approximately 7:30 a.m on SR 27. A 2001 Toyota 4Runner, driven by Nicole L. Oswalt, Pittsfield, was traveling west on Sr. 27. While negotiating a left hand curve, the vehicle left the roadway onto the shoulder. The vehicle traveled approximately 120 feet along the embankment on the northern shoulder before returning to the roadway. The vehicle rolled onto its right slide and slid across the roadway for approximately 45 feet before coming to rest. Police said she sustained minor injuries. She was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Spring Creek Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Nov. 15 at 12:30 a.m. on Old Route 77 west of Sr. 426 on Nov. 15 at 12:30 p.m. A 2011 Subaru Impreza, driven by Allan J. Swart, 30, Corry, was traveling north on Old Route 77 and was engaged in a right hand curve. A 1996 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Timothy E. Harker, 36, Corry, was turning left. Swart’s vehicle crossed over into the southbound lane striking Harker’s vehicle in the left side. Harker’s vehicle rotated counter-clockwise and came to rest approximately 20 feet from impact, facing southeast. Swart swerved northeast coming to rest just off the roadway into an embankment on the eastern berm facing northeast. Police said both drivers sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident but no EMS transport was needed. Swart was cited with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Crash. Warren-based state police said a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Kerry Carlson, 51, Sugar Grove, was traveling north on Matthews Run Road and drove off the east side of the road at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2. Police said the vehicle traveled about 30 feet and hit two mailboxes, then drove another 36 feet before pulling back onto the road and leaving the scene.

Farmington Twp.

Theft. According to Warren-based state police, someone lost an iPod between Oct. 28 and Nov. 17 at Eisenhower Middle/High School. Police said the suspect is believed to have found the iPod, but steps were never taken to return the iPod to the owner. The investigation is continuing.

Pittsfield Twp.

DUI. According to Warren-based state police, Jacob Kowalski, 34, Corry, was stopped for a moving violation at 1:49 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, and was believed to be driving under the influence. Police said Kowalski was charged with DUI and other traffic violations through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police said at 4:55 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Ryan Garris, 22, Warren, slid from side to side while driving along a left curve. A 2006 GMC Sierra, driven by Todd Gourley, 42, Sugar Grove, swerved on the berm when the car driven by Garris crossed the center of the road into the path of Gourley, and hit Gourley’s fender with the bumper. According to police, Gourley continued up an embankment before driving back onto the road, while Garris’ vehicle spun while traveling approximately 10 feet. Neither driver was injured, police said.

Theft by deception. Conewango Township police reported that Larry A. Hamilton, 52, Jamestown, N.Y., issued two checks to Car-Go Auto Parts, North Warren, on Oct. 31 and Nov. 3 totaling $308.48 on a closed account. Police said Hamilton was charged with two misdemeanor counts of theft by deception. Police said a $100 service fee was also attached to the restitution.

Spring Creek

Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between Oct. 24 and Nov. 15 someone pried open the basement door of a camp belonging to William Muck, Fairview, located on Bush Road, causing damage to the door and frame.

Disorderly conduct. Kirk Hunkele, 39, Warren, was cited by City of Warren police for disorderly conduct on Oct. 25 after police were called to a local establishment to investigate a report that a man had broken a bottle and caused an injury to a bystander.

Theft. Johnnie Calhoun, 50, Sheffield, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property by City of Warren police on Nov. 2 following an investigation by police.

Identity theft. Nikkia Lindstrom, 25, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police with access device fraud and identity theft following an investigation by police.

Open lewdness. Melvin Atwell, 58, Warren, was charged by City of Warren police with open lewdness, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police witnessed him urinate in public at 4:15 p.m. on Nov. 7.

Public drunkenness. Justin Campisano, 23, Pittsfield, was cited for public drunkenness after police responded to a local convenience store for a report of an unresponsive male on Oct. 8 at 10:45 p.m.

Harassment. William Cooke, 34, Warren, was cited by City of Warren police for harassment on Nov. 9 after police responded to a domestic dispute.

Open burning. George Hanson, Jr., 55, Warren, was cited by City of Warren police for open burning on Nov. 13 after police responded to a report of garbage burning.

DUI. According to Warren-based state police, at 12:03 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, Gregory Wisenauer, 38, Clarendon, lost control of his car on Route 337. Police said Wisenauer’s vehicle allegedly hit a ditch and flipped onto the passenger side. Emergency crews removed Wisenauer from the car and took him to Warren General Hospital for moderate injuries. Police said charges were filed through district court after blood results were obtained.

Farmington Twp.

Crash. State police report that Dustin K. Stewart, 36, Warren was traveling west in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado on Route 957 at 5:40 p.m. on Nov. 13. He lost control on a right-hand turn, struck a guard rail on the western berm, traveled back across the roadway and struck an eastbound 2003 Ford driven by Daniel R. Cable, 34, Russell. Stewart’s vehicle spun clockwise and came to rest in the westbound lane facing south. Stewart was transported to Warren General Hospital with moderate injuries. Cable and his passenger were not injured, and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Stewart was charged with failure to drive at a safe speed.

Glade Twp.

Fraud. State police report that individuals claiming to be with the IRS contacted two victims in Glade Township advising them that they owed a large sum of money in back taxes, threatened to put liens on their bank accounts and have them arrested. The individuals had the victims purchase several Green Dot Money Pak cards to pay them over the phone. The total loss is $3,534. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Warren State Police or Warren County Crime Stoppers at 1-800 832-7463. The public is asked to use extreme caution regarding giving any type of personal information or dealing with any money transactions over the phone. This type of scam is becoming very prominent in the area.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. At 7:10 a.m. on Nov. 14, a 2000 Ford Mustang traveling west on Route 27 south of Mickle Hill Road, driven by Kimberely S. Edmiston, 42, of Youngsville spun off the road and down an embankment striking a fence post and a ditch. State police report that the roadway was slippery, and charged Edmiston with failure to drive at a safe speed.

Pleasant Twp.

Crash. State police report that at 6:56 p.m. on Nov. 13, Richard F. Rogers II, 47, Barton, N.Y., turned west onto Pleasant Drive west of Main Avenue from a private drive in a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500, when he struck a 2002 Suzuki XL7 driven by Alexandre P. Craft, 21, Grand Valley. The Suzuki spun counterclockwise across the westbound lane and went over the curb. The Suzuki was towed from the scene, and Barton was charged with turning movements. There were no injuries.

Crash. State police report that at 9:11 a.m. on Nov. 14, Kaylie M. Peterson, 21, Tidioute was traveling north on Route 62 just south of the intersection with Lenhart Road when she lost control of the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado she was driving. When she attempted to regain control, she crossed the south bound lane and struck a tree, causing heavy damage to the front end of the vehicle. She was entrapped in the vehicle until she was freed by Youngsville and Pleasant Volunteer Fire Departments emergency personnel. She was transported to Warren General Hospital with moderate injuries, and cited for failure to drive at a safe speed and a seat belt infraction. EmergyCare assisted at the scene.

Drugs. State police report that Debra A. Miles, 43, Highland Drive Apartments, Pleasant Drive was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following an incident in July. Warren County Adult Probation was conducting a probation check and found a suspected controlled substance on her.

Tidioute

Vandalism. Tidioute police report that someone sprayed paint on private property between late evening hours of Nov. 8 and the early morning hours of Nov. 9.

Elk Twp.

Charged. Warren-based state police said they charged Richard Allen Haskins, 48, Russell, with public drunkenness after he was found laying in a snowbank at 10:37 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, along Hultburg Road. Police said a plow truck driver stopped to help Haskins and contacted state police. Police said Haskins was intoxicated and on probation. He was taken to Warren County Jail.

Freehold Twp.

Crash. No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:42 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, on Route 957. According to Warren-based state police, a Mack truck driven by Joseph Lee Breeding, 28, Warren, left the road and was stuck in a ditch off the north shoulder when a car driven by Dustin Richard Yoder, 24, Columbus, veered off the snow-covered road and struck the truck.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, a truck crashed into a tree at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, on Jackson Run Road. Police said the truck, driven by Paul I. Collins, 62, England, was eastbound going around a left-hand curve, when it spun clockwise, left the road and struck a tree with the driver door area. Collins received minor injuries in the crash, police said.

Youngsville

Theft. Youngsville Borough Police charged a 17-year-old boy with theft after he allegedly stole a box of candy bars and about $38 in cash from a fellow student on Friday, Nov. 14, at Youngsville High School.

Aggravated assault. Youngsville Borough Police said at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday Nov. 9, officers responded to a call for domestic violence involving a knife. Police said Ingrid Adams, 47, was allegedly chasing her husband and threatening to kill him. Adams was arrested and arraigned in front of District Justice Laura Bauer.

Theft. Conewango Township police say at 7:44 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, Chris L. Loutzenhiser, 39, Sugar Grove, was seen by an attendant at Kwik-Fill, 2351 Market St., walking into the store, then leaving. The attendant checked the surveillance video and saw Loutzenhiser steal a $1.19 bottle of tea. Police said based on video and information provided, Loutzenhiser was confronted at his place of employment where he was cited for retail theft.

Bad checks. Conewango Township police reported that on Oct. 22 Christina Lynn Harris, Warren, passed a check in the amount of $47.75 at Fox’s Pizza. The check was later returned indicating that the account was closed. Harris was given notice both verbally and via certified mail and failed to make restitution. Police said they subsequently charged Harris with one count of summary bad checks.

Farmington Twp.

Burglary. According to Warren-based state police, around 2 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, someone broke into the Chase Auction House on Route 957 and took an unknown amount of property. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Mead Twp.

Mischief. Warren-based state police said between 10 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, and Monday Nov. 10, someone damaged a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze on Wilderness Park in Clarendon by egging the car. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Crash. Warren-based state police say at 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, a car driven by Scott Andersen, 54, hit a deer. The deer spun around and hit the right side of the car. Andersen was transported by EMS for moderate injuries.

Pine Grove Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police said between Nov. 4 and Nov. 11, someone broke into a home on Market Street Ext. through the basement window. They searched through the house and stole metal figurines, decorations, a light fixture, and other items. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Mischief. According to Warren-based state police, between 2:30 and 2:45 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, someone put a small hole in a garage door on the corner of Conewango and State streets in Russell, causing $500 in damage.

Burglary. According to Warren-based state police, between Oct. 31 and Nov. 10, someone broke into a camp on Reynolds Run Road. Police said the shed latch was damaged and it is unknown is anything was stolen.

Pittsfield Twp.

Trespass. Warren-based state police say between Oct. 19 and Nov. 2, someone forced open the front door to a camp on Ross Hill Road. Nothing was stolen, but there was $160 in damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Hit and run. Youngsville Borough Police are investigating a hit and run that occurred about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 in the Tops parking lot. A truck towing a trailer hit a shopping cart corral and dragged it into a parked car. Anyone with information is asked to contact Youngsville police or Crime Stoppers.

Trespass. According to Youngsville Borough Police, on Friday, Oct. 17, two male juveniles were seen on camera jumping the fence at the Brokenstraw Valley pool, and riding their bikes in the empty pool. Police said both individuals are known 14-year-old male juveniles and charges have been filed through by District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Crash. Corry-based state police said at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, a car driven by Michael Jares, 30, on Route 6 hit a deer in the westbound lane, forcing the deer into the eastbound lane, where it was hit by a car driven by Nichole Flick, 25. Police said after stopping on the shoulder, Jares’ car burst into flames. Both drivers were unharmed, and the cars were towed,

Assault. Corry-based state police said at around 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, Zackary Bliss, 24, Corry, pushed an unnamed victim in the chest onto a set of concrete stairs before backing his vehicle into another victim. Bliss allegedly spun a doughnut in the front yard and drove away. Police said Bliss was taken into custody and arraigned before being released on $25,000 unsecured bail.

False alarm. Warren-based state police reported that on Nov. 9 at 2:46 a.m. Green Acres Property had a fourth false alarm within a 12-month period and will be cited for control of alarm devices and automatic dialing devices.

Watson Twp.

DUI crash. Warren-based state police report that a known 38-year old male from Clarendon is facing charges of DUI, disorderly conduct and various traffic violations, pending blood test results, after a 12:03 a.m. accident at Route 337 and Hearts Content Road. Police said the suspect was traveling south on Route 337 when he lost control of his 2007 Toyota Tundra. He struck a ditch on the east side of the road, and the vehicle overturned onto the passenger side. Emergency personnel extricated him by non-mechanical means, and transported him to Warren General Hospital with moderate injuries. He was wearing a seat belt, and the airbags did deploy, according to police.

Youngsville

Hit and run. Youngsville Borough police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred on Nov. 8 at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the Tops parking lot. According to police, a truck towing a trailer hit the shopping cart corral dragging it into a parked car. Trespass. Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables reported arresting Kyle J. Clark, 27, Warren, on Nov. 7 at 9:30 a.m. on an arrest warrant issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson for operating a vehicle without insurance. Clark was taken before Carlson and released pending further court action.

Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police reported that on Nov. 7 at 1:20 p.m. Walmart Loss Prevention witnessed Kevin Scott Davis, 1304 Matthews Run Rd., open two packages of energizer batteries with a total value of $35.71 and conceal them in his pockets and then attempt to leave the store without paying for them. Police subsequently charged Davis with retail theft.

Pine Grove Twp.

Criminal mischief. Pennsylvania State Police said between Thursday, Oct. 30 and Wednesday, Nov. 6, someone damaged a new front window at the Russell United Methodist Church by throwing something through the window. Clarendon

Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables reported arresting Bryan K. Hart, 42, Clarendon, on Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. on a bench warrant issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson for driving under suspension. Hart was taken before Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Hit and run. According to Warren-based state police, a car left the east side of Matthews Run Road at 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 2, traveled about 30 feet before hitting two mailboxes, then drove another 36 feet before pulling back onto the road and leaving the scene. Pittsfield Twp.

Found property. Warren-based state police reported that on Nov. 5 at approximately 9 a.m. a mountain bike was brought to their barracks in Starbrick that had been found in a field along the road in the 31000 block of Route. 6. The bike is a 18-speed mountain bike. The owner may claim the bike at the state police barracks.

Watson Twp.

Lost person. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reported that on Oct. 31 at 11 p.m. they were dispatched to the Hearts Content Campground in regards to a lost 73-year-old male. A total of 27 volunteers from Cherry Grove, Sheffield and Pleasant volunteer fire departments in addition to Allegheny National Forest personnel assisted in the search. At approximately 12:39 a.m., Lawrence Jena, 73, Wampum, Pa., was located by one of the volunteer search teams sitting under a tree, just off a trail, seven-tenths of a mile from the campground. Jena was escorted out of the woods by the volunteer fireman at 1 a.m. Police said Jena stated that he entered the woods at approximately 4 p.m. on the trail near campsite five with hunting gear in his possession. He stated that while he was on the trail he was unable to locate the fire trail until 6:45 p.m., when it became dark. At that time, Jena made the decision to find shelter under a tree and wait. Police said Jena appeared to be in good health and was released to his son.

Youngsville

Felony arrest. Youngsville Borough police reported that on Tuesday at approximately 3:30 p.m. officers apprehended Lugene Sturdevant, 27, Youngsville, who was wanted on felony charges stemming from an incident that occurred on Sept. 22. According to police, a Bates Street resident reported that someone entered her home on that date and took approximately $200 in cash. Police said Sturdevant was charged with burglary, criminal trespass and theft. He was placed in the Warren County Jail with $10,000 bail by District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth and is awaiting further court proceedings.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report that at 6:35 a.m. on Nov. 1, Ashley M. Nelson, 29, Youngsville, was driving a 2009 Ford Taurus north on Brown Hill Road, and while attempting a left-hand curve north of Indian Camp Run Road. Police said she traveled 120 feet off the east berm, striking a ditch and metal drain pipe. After impact, the vehicle traveled 72 feet along the ditch, striking a concrete culvert and came to rest facing north along the east side of the roadway. Police said she was charged with driving on the right side of the roadway.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police report that at 1 p.m. on Oct. 31, someone removed a red 5-gallon plastic gas can from a residence on Brown Hill Road. The total value of the stolen property is $35.95.

Conewango Twp.

Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act, DUI and corruption of minors. Warren-based state police report that on Nov. 1 at 6:44 p.m., an off-duty state trooper observed Andrew Lewis Richard Nygren smoking suspected marijuana and attempting to leave the area. The trooper identified himself, and contacted Warren-based state police for assistance. Police said upon their arrival, there was an odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle and Nygren was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police said he was taken into custody for suspicion of drug DUI and transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing. Charges against Nygren include two counts of Act 64, DUI-Drug and three counts of corruption of minors. Charges will be filed at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. Police said three known juveniles were transported to state police barracks for processing and parental notification. Nygren will be charged with two counts of Act 64 through the Warren County Juvenile Probation Department.

Glade Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report that on Nov.1 at 5:48 p.m., a 16-year-old male was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Scandia Road when he lost control while rounding a left-hand curve and attempting to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle traveled across the northbound lane and struck an embankment. The vehicle rolled over, and traveled approximately 48 feet, coming to rest on its wheels along the northbound embankment facing west. The driver and a 15-year-old female were wearing lap and shoulder belts and were not injured. Police said the driver was charged with failure to drive at a safe speed.

Pine Grove Twp.

Attempted theft and criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report that two males in a dark-colored truck attempted to steal a camper on State Street in Russell on Nov.1 at 4:30 p.m. A witness provided the registration number of the suspect vehicle, and an investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers at 800-832-7463.

Tidioute Borough

Disorderly conduct. Tidioute Borough police charged Anthony Pollaro, 22, 189 Main St., Tidioute with disorderly conduct after a large fight outside the Pub Bar at 1:18 a.m. on Nov.1. Police were assisted at the scene by Pennsylvania Game Commission officers. Police said they will observe video from nearby businesses, as others may be charged.

Drugs. Warren-based state police said Conner Nogel, 18, Clarion, and a 16-year-old Bear Lake male juvenile face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana. According to police, Nogel and the juvenile were found to be in possession at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Route 958 and Route 6.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and a farm tractor at 2:47 p.m. Friday on Route 426. According to police, the field tines of the farm tractor struck the driver door, window, mirror, and trailer of the other vehicle. Neither driver, Zachary T. Brice, 21, of Waterford in the farm tractor, nor Joseph M. Tomaski, 33, of Weedville, in the tractor trailer was injured, police said.

Tidioute

Hit-and-run. Tidioute Borough police are looking for details of a hit-and-run crash from 12:56 a.m. Sunday in which a brown vehicle struck the rear end of a legally parked vehicle on Sheridan Street.

Sugar Grove

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 7 a.m. on Oct. 25 and 3 p.m. on Oct. 27 a known 24-year-old female from Clymer, N.Y., attempted to cash multiple checks at Town & Country Food Center, Sugar Grove, that did not belong to her and had insufficient funding in the account. Police said an investigation is pending.

Chautauqua

County, N.Y.

Drug investigation. The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed two search warrants within the City of Jamestown on Thursday. The first search warrant was executed around 1:30 p.m. at a basement apartment at 295 Willard St. and the second was executed around 3:30 p.m. at 916 N. Main St. at the upper apartment. Police said Lynn M. Jackson, Jr., 35, was arrested on Willard Street and Julio Melendez II, 45, was arrested at the N. Main Street apartment. Police said a quantity of heroin was seized at both locations by investigators. Jackson and Melendez have been arrested and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and are being held without bail in the Jamestown City Jail.

Drug investigation. An investigation into the illegal sales and trafficking of narcotics in the Jamestown area led investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force to execute two separate search warrants on Friday. The first was done at 11 a.m. at 308 Central Ave. in Falconer, N.Y., where investigators located more than half an ounce of powdered cocaine, a quantity of heroin and cash inside the residence. Police said Watkine Watkins, 35, was taken into custody and is being charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Watkins was additionally charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child as three small children were found inside the home. Police said Alecia Haskins arrived at the scene after the search had started and was charged with one count of endangering, obstructing and resisting arrest after she attempted to enter the home after being directed not to enter by police. Police said Haskins did resist being arrested while holding a small child. At 1:55 p.m., investigators went to 112 Frederick Blvd. in West Ellicott and made entry into the home with the assistance of the Jamestown Police Department’s SWAT Team. Police said inside the residence investigators found more than an ounce of powder cocaine, a quantity of marijuana and a quantity of cash. Taken into custody were Thomas Kimbrough, Sr., 44, and Thomas Kimbrough, Jr., 18, who were both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. All subjects were transported to the Jamestown City Jail where they were waiting arraignment at the Town of Ellicott court.
