Harassment. Warren-based state police said Glenn Minnis, 43, and Randy Hildum, 35, both of Warren, subjected each other to unwanted contact during a physical altercation at 1:17 a.m. Oct. 24 at 121 Jackson Run Rd. Police said Minnis and Hildum will answer to a summary charge of harassment before District Justice Laura Bauer.

Glade Twp.

Criminal mischief. Lorrie Mabee, 56, and Laurie Kerrin, 53, reported to Warren-based state police that someone cut several lead lines for horses and a harness, scratched a truck door and bent several antennas while they were at the conservation park between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 27. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Limestone Twp.

Theft. Ronald Yanik, 71, reported to Warren-based state police that someone took a canvas canopy and a small refrigerator from his property on Tippy Lane sometime between Sept. 21 and Oct. 24. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police of Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pine Grove Twp.

Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a three-vehicle accident on Route 62 at its intersection with Weeping Willow Lane at 5:10 p.m. Oct. 20. According to police, a truck operated by Floyd Lindstrom Jr., 38, Ripley, N.Y., was parked facing north, straddling the east fog line on Route 62 at Valentine Run Road. A northbound 2009 Subaru Impreza, operated by Logan Lauffenburger, 22, Russell, struck the rear of Lindstrom’s vehicle. Lauffenburger’s vehicle then spun out into the southbound lane where it was struck in the driver’s rear quarter panel by a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox operated by Matthew Hultquist, 18, Warren. Police said Lauffenburger’s vehicle came to rest facing south along the eastern berm and Hultquist’s vehicle came to rest facing south in the northbound lane. Lindstrom and Hultquist were not injured, according to police; Lauffenburger and a passenger in Hultquist’s vehicle, Brian Harland, 72, Clarendon, sustained moderate injuries. Lauffenburger was transported to Warren General Hospital by Russell VFD and Emergycare. Police said Lindstrom is being cited for stopping, standing and parking outside business and residence districts, and Lauffenburger is being cited for careless driving.

Pittsfield Twp.

DUI crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Cole Hill Road, approximately one mile south of Garland Road, at 2:55 a.m. Oct. 26. According to police, Christopher Shields, 34, Tidioute, was southbound on Cole Hill Road in a 2012 Ford F150 pickup truck, which crossed the roadway and struck a tree, becoming undriveable. Police said during their crash investigation it was suspected that Shields had driven while under the influence of alcohol. Police said Shields was taken into custody for DUI and transported to Warren General Hospital for a blood test. Police said charges for DUI along with summary traffic violations are pending against Shields pending BAC results.

Burglary. Matthew Baker, Hosmer Run Road, reported to Warren-based state police that someone entered his residence through a secured window sometime between 3 p.m. Oct. 4 and 11 a.m. Oct. 25 and stole a television and other items. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pleasant Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police said two male juveniles, ages 11 and 14, caused approximately $150 damage to a vacant residence at Wilderness Park Trailer Park, Clarendon, between 4 and 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 28. Police said criminal mischief charges against both juveniles have been filed at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Sheffield Twp.

Accidental shooting. Warren-based state police said they are investigating an accidental shooting which occurred at a Church Street residence at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 23. According to police, a 12-year-old juvenile male accidentally shot a rifle in his residence while getting ready to go hunting. Police said no injuries were reported.

Tidioute

Hit and run. Amy Gesin, Tidioute, reported to Tidioute Borough police that while her vehicle was parked along King Street between 11 and 11:20 a.m. Oct. 28 the front of it was struck by an unknown vehicle, causing minor damage. Police said the hit-and-run vehicle may have a trailer hitch. Anyone with information is asked to contact Tidioute Borough police.

Bad check. Tidioute Borough police said they have charged Lawrence R. McGuigan, 102 Ethan Alley, Tidioute, with issuing a check to a 50-year-old female in the amount of $487.55 that was returned for insufficient funds. Police said he failed to make good on the check after proper notice was given.

Youngsville

Hit and run. Youngsville Borough police reported that on Tuesday at approximately 1:50 a.m. an unknown person was traveling north on Second St. and drove a gray/silver car into a utility pole and onto property near 35 Second St. causing damage to the pole, property and their motor vehicle. Youngsville police are asking for anyone that has any information about a gray/silver car with severe damage to the front passenger side and mirror to contact police at 563-7555 or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Bad check. Youngsville Borough police reported that Michelle Johnson, 37, Warren, did issue a check or similar sight order for payment on Sept. 25 in the amount of $90 to District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office without sufficient funds to cover the check. Charges have been filed at District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office by Youngsville police.

Access device fraud. Conewango Township Police reported that Marcie L Simmons, 3275 Lanning Hill Road in Sugar Grove was charged on Oct. 21 with one count of access device fraud and one count of theft by unlawful taking after using her boyfriends checking account number without his knowledge or consent to pay $1,431.90 of her personal bills.

Farmington Twp.

Burglary. State police report that sometime between 11 a.m. on Oct. 14 and 1 p.m. on Oct. 25, someone gained forcible entry through a front window to a camp on Cemetery Road in Farmington Township. A 42-inch television and two bottles of liquor were stolen, and suspects left the camp through the front door. Anyone with information is asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police in Warren.

Glade Twp.

Theft. Sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. on Oct. 23, someone stole a bright yellow Thruster BMX style bicycle from Warren Area High School. Anyone with information is asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police in Warren or Crime Stoppers at 800-832-7463.

Arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Justin Ortega, 24, Warren, at about 8:15 a.m. Oct. 23 at 22 Buchanan St. He was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for sentencing on felony drug charges. He was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action. Deputies were assisted by City of Warren police.

Pine Grove Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between 3 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 21 someone entered a shed belonging to Scott and Tammy Phanco, Russell, located on Peterson Hill Road and removed a red 2003 Yamaha YFM45 ATV with a front-mounted winch. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 18 at 9:57 p.m. a vehicle belonging to Michael Joseph Cataldo, 19, Sugar Grove, was parked along a roadside pull-off facing north on Big Four Road, north of Four Wheel Drive. Police said Cataldo and a known 16-year-old juvenile female were found seated inside the vehicle and while speaking with the occupants, an odor of marijuana was detected within the vehicle. Police said Cataldo was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Cataldo was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing. Police said charges against Cataldo include three violations of the Controlled Substances, Drugs, Device, and Cosmetic Act, DUI and corruption of minors. Charges will be filed at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Sugar Grove

Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Page Hollow Road at the intersection with Route 957 on Oct. 21 at 6 a.m. According to police, a 2001 Buick Century, driven by Darrell D. Durlin, 36, Sheffield, was traveling north on Page Hollow Road nearing the intersection with Route 957. Police said Durlin failed to maintain an appropriate speed for inclement weather conditions, ultimately not allowing him enough time to come to a complete stop at the intersection’s stop sign. Durlin applied the brakes but the vehicle continued traveling north through the intersection, completely crossing Route 957. The vehicle left the westbound shoulder and struck an embankment at the front of a residence. Police said upon impact, Durlin turned the wheel, redirecting the vehicle east. Once on the embankment, the vehicle hit a wooden decorative fence, shrubbery and additional landscaping before continuing east across a driveway and hitting a second embankment. Police said once the vehicle was stopped, Durlin placed it in reverse, leaving the property and began traveling east on Route 957. The vehicle came to rest on the eastbound shoulder of Route 957, just west of Dump Road. The vehicle sustained major damage, requiring towing. Police said Durlin initially left the scene, but returned upon police arrival. He sustained a minor injury to the top of his head, but refused medical treatment. Police said he was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between 10 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 21 someone forcibly gained entry into a residence belonging to Thomas Alexander Yurick, Irvine Run Road, via a rear basement door. Police said a 46-inch television was removed from a wall mount. Police said the intruder left via the front door. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Eldred Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that someone gained entry to a shed at a camp on Hunt Road belonging a 69-year-old male from Lake City, Pa., by prying the door latch open. Police said the intruder removed a 1985 Honda 4Traxs 200 SX. The victim’s ATV was later recovered in a wooded area off of Buckley Road. Pine Grove Twp.

Marijuana eradication. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 14 at 9 a.m. nine marijuana plants were removed from a private property on Hultberg Road.

Pleasant Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Pleasant Drive at the intersection with Main Avenue on Oct. 20 at 5:50 a.m. According to police, a 2003 Jeep Liberty, driven by Heidi VanHouten, 35, Warren, was eastbound on Pleasant Drive and a 2004 Buick Rendezvous, driven by Breanne D. Sarver, 30, Warren, was traveling west at the same location. Police said VanHouten attempted to turn north onto Main Avenue, traveling into the path of Sarver’s vehicle, which struck VanHouten’s vehicle. VanHouten’s vehicle was towed from the scene. VanHouten was uninjured and police said Sarver suffered minor injuries. Police said VanHouten was cited with vehicles turning left.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police were dispatched to Tractor Supply, 4210 Market St. Ext., at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 8 after receiving a report of retail theft. According to police, Shawn Thornton, 36, Warren, was observed by store employees concealing merchandise and causing damage to merchandise that would not be able to be resold. Police said a summary non-traffic citation has been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Hit and run. Gladys Birt, Jacob Lane, reported to Conewango Township police that her vehicle sustained damage while it was parked in front of her residence on Oct. 19 or 20. Police said the front bumper received minor damage with paint scratched and a deep gouge in the plastic.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 59 at its intersection with Keenan Street that occurred on Oct. 20 at 7:15 p.m. According to police, a 2002 Cadillac STS, driven by Philip L. Gough, 82, Rochester Hills, Mich., was traveling west on Route 59 near Keenan Street while a 2012 Lincoln Navigator, driven by Kirsten M. Darling, 41, Clarendon, was traveling east on Route 59. Police said Gough entered the curve too fast and crossed the double yellow lines hitting Darling’s vehicle head on. Both drivers were uninjured, were wearing their seatbelts and did not have air bags deploy. Both vehicle were able to be driven from the scene under their own power. Gough was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.

Sugar Grove

Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 20 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. someone forced their way into a residence on Yankee Bush Road. Once inside, a flat screen television was removed. Police said the investigation continues.

Youngsville

Disorderly conduct. Youngsville Borough police said they received a report of a disruptive student at Youngsville High School on Oct. 16. Police said the 16-year-old male was cited for disorderly conduct.

Harassment. Youngsville Borough police said they are investigating an indecent assault that occurred in the school cafeteria at Youngsville Elementary Middle School at approximately 12:50 p.m. Oct. 8. According to police, a 13-year-old male student allegedly touched a 13-year-old female student inappropriately. Police said charges are pending.

Cited. Warren City Police said Michael Atkins, 49, Warren, was cited for vehicle entering or crossing roadway on Oct. 13 following a three-vehicle accident on Pennsylvania Ave. W.

Cited. Warren City Police said Caleb Bean, 24, Sheffield, was cited for accidents involving damage to unattended vehicles after officers received a report of a hit and run at 2:08 a.m. Oct. 4.

Charged. Warren City Police said Scott Johnson, 22, Warren, was charged with following too closely on Oct. 9 following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave. E. and Water Street.

Cited. Warren City Police said Cheyenne Lauffenburger, 19, Youngsville, was cited for bad checks on Oct. 10 following an investigation.

Cited. Warren City Police said Shyanna Matsock, 18, Warren, was cited for harassment on Oct. 17 after officers responded to a report of a fight.

Cited. Warren City Police said Kristen McLaughlin, 28, Tidioute, was cited for obedience to traffic control devices on Oct. 17 following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Market Street.

Cited. Warren City Police said Venessa Clark, 28, Warren, was cited for suspension of registration following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Market Street on Oct. 8.

Cited. Warren City Police said a juvenile was cited for harassment on Oct. 8 after police responded to a report of an unruly teenager.

Charged. Warren City Police said following an investigation from June, the following people were charged. Brittney Bailey, 25, Warren, was charged with four counts identity theft, three counts access device fraud and four counts theft by unlawful taking and forgery. Deborah Beil, 46, Warren, was charged with three counts identity theft, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Rachel Ludwig, 20, Warren, was charged with three counts identity theft, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Cherie Wolfe, 47, Warren, was charged with thee counts identity theft, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Police said they were all arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

Freehold Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report that at 1:45 a.m. on Oct. 19, someone threw a 55-gallon drum into the windshield of a 2005 GMC while it was parked at Cabin in the Pines Tavern on Route 6. Damage is estimated at $400.

Pine Grove Twp.

Cruelty to animals. According to Warren-based state police, a three-year-old breeding domesticated doe valued at $20,000 was shot and killed in a private enclosure on Cable Hollow Road sometime between 6 p.m. Aug. 31 and 1 p.m. Sept. 1. Police said it was the third deer killed in the enclosure. Police said in addition to any award paid by Warren County Crime Stoppers, the victim is offering an additional $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Police said the intruder did not take anything, but damage is estimated at $300. Burglary. Warren-based state police said that between 12:01 a.m. Oct. 1 and 7 a.m. Oct. 11 someone forcibly entered a camp at 3100 Hunt Road and stole a first aid kit. Sale of tobacco. Conewango Township police reported that on Sept. 29 at 5:23 p.m. tobacco compliance checks were completed throughout tobacco outlets within the township. Dextri Zaffino, 26, Warren, was cited for selling tobacco to a minor at 1690 Market St. A non-traffic citation was filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Sale of tobacco. Conewango Township police reported that on Sept. 29 at 5:42 p.m. tobacco compliance checks were completed throughout tobacco outlets within the township. Jarrett M. Woodward, 22, Warren, was cited for selling to a minor at 2351 Market St. A non-traffic citation was filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Bad check. Conewango Township police reported that on Sept. 11 Carla K. Baumgardner, Warren, wrote and passed a check in the amount of $40 at Napoli’s Pizza. The check was later returned not sufficient funds. Police said Baumgardner was sent a 10-day bad check letter and she failed to pay Napoli’s the restitution owed. Police said they subsequently charged her with bad checks.

Farmington Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Oct. 12 at 9:20 a.m. According to police, a 2005 Subaru Baja, driven by Bryce A. Garris, 18, Sugar Grove, was traveling north on Rhine Run Road north of West Road when he failed to negotiate a right-hand turn. The vehicle traveled across the southbound lane of traffic and struck the embankment off the berm. The vehicle then rolled over before coming to final rest on its roof, facing in a southwest direction. The vehicle suffered disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Police said Garris was not injured but was cited for driving a vehicle at safe speed.

Limestone Twp.

Terroristic threats. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. David Lobdell, 33, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangering, criminal mischief and harassment after an incident that occurred on Tippy Lane. According to police, Lobdell allegedly struck the victim, a known 38-year-old female, several times causing her to retreat to a truck belonging to David Lane. Police said Lobdell then broke the truck window and pulled her back into the residence where he allegedly threatened to kill her with a knife. Lobdell was arrested and arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer and sent to the Warren County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Chautauqua Co., NY

Crack cocaine. The Jamestown, N.Y. Police Department reported an investigation into the sales and trafficking of crack cocaine into the Jamestown area led investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force to execute two search warrants on Oct. 16 which resulted in the arrest of six individuals. Members of the Jamestown Police SWAT Team made entry into 165 Barrett Ave. and took three individuals into custody. All three are being charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after approximately one ounce of crack cocaine was located inside the apartment that was packaged for sale. Subjects were identified as Ervin Mitchell, 31; Torry Knight, 46; and Rayquan Brooks, 18. SWAT officers then made entry into 108 Crescent St. and took three more individuals into custody after more than one ounce of crack cocaine was located inside the apartment. Charged in that entry were Ollie Alford, 32; Laura Dubois, 24; and Lawrence Gray, 45. All were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Alford and Gray were charged additionally with criminal possession of a weapon as both are convicted felons and a loaded rifle was found inside the apartment. Police said all are currently awaiting arraignment in the city jail. Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force is made up of members from the Jamestown and Ellicott police departments.

Warren

Arrest. On Oct. 16, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from the City of Warren Police Department, arrested John Leichtenberger, 21, Warren, on charges of violation of parole. Police said in an attempt to locate Leichtenberger to detain him for a recent parole violation, officers stopped to question a known associate who resides at 421 Chestnut St. Police said while officers were at the front door talking to the resident, Leichtenberger attempted to flee out of a second-story window in the rear of the house. Leichtenberger was quickly taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Farmington Twp.

Scam. A Sugar Grove man was scammed out of $3,631 in an incident in which he cashed checks for and sent money to someone who contacted him through Craigs List, according to Warren-based state police. The bank at which the checks were cashed notified the victim that the checks were fraudulent. The victim is responsible for paying the money back. The incident took place between Sept. 2 and 5. “The public should be diligent and be skeptical of such scams on the internet,” police said in a press release. “Never case checks from an unknown source.”

Limestone Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police have charged Laura Ann Reed, 31, with two counts of DUI; endangering the welfare of a child; careless driving; and two other summary violations after she allegedly drove away from the scene of another incident in Conewango Township while under the influence of alcohol with a juvenile male in the vehicle. According to police, Reed was located at 10:03 p.m. Sept. 29, on Route 337 in Limestone Township. Breath test results determined her blood alcohol to be above the legal limit, police said.

Pleasant Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 10 at 6:50 p.m. Geoffrey Nelson, 27, Clarendon, and Travis Coons, 39, Sheffield, subjected each other to physical contact by shoving each other with both hands. Police said charges are pending for harassment with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 957 west of Eccles Road on Oct. 1 at 4:54 p.m. According to police, a 2002 Harley-Davidson FXDWG, driven by Michael J. Lawson, 42, Warren, was traveling westbound on Route 957 when a YFM5 ATV, driven by Tag C. Albright, 59, Sugar Grove, entered the roadway from the westbound shoulder, heading southbound on an access road/right of way. That vehicle entered the roadway directly in the path of the Harley-Davidson and the motorcycle struck the ATV on the driver-side rear tire, causing the ATV to spin counterclockwise, according to police. Albright remained seated on the ATV and was uninjured. A passenger on the Harley-Davidson, Lisa M. Lawson, 47, Warren, was thrown from the rear of the vehicle over both Michael Lawson and the ATV. Police said she landed on the westbound shoulder of the roadway. The motorcycle continued to travel westbound before falling down, sliding on its passenger side. Michael Lawson remained on the vehicle as it began sliding down the roadway for approximately 45 feet. Both Michael and Lisa Lawson were assisted on scene by Sugar Grove VFD, EmergyCare and Busti VFD before they were flown to Hamot Medical Center in Erie via LifeStar and Medevac. Police said they both sustained moderate injuries. The motorcycle was towed from the scene while the ATV was driven away. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Police said Albright was cited but did not indicate the nature of the violation.

Youngsville

Assault. Warren-based state police charged Francis E. Brady, 50, Youngsville, with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly threw a phone at a Youngsville woman, injuring her elbow, during a domestic dispute at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9. Police said Brady was arraigned before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Theft. Conewango Township Police charged Leo E.J. McGrail, 56, Warren, with theft of lost or mislaid property after he allegedly found a purse, took it, and failed to make any effort to return it at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Walmart parking lot. According to police, McGrail was identified through use of video surveillance.

Thefts. Conewango Township Police are looking for information regarding burglaries and thefts from vehicles and homes of two residences on Greene Avenue, Starbrick, between 11:15 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police said $50 in cash and coins, a Wegman’s gift card, an iPod Touch, and a Barnes and Noble Nook tablet were among the items taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police, who advised residents to keep their homes and vehicles locked.

Theft. Conewango Township Police are looking for information regarding a theft and attempted burglary between 4 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in which someone took an iPod out of a vehicle that was parked in a River Road garage and then attempted to enter the residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Warren County

Assault. Warren-based state police are looking for information in a case they are treating as an assault but in which the victim is not cooperating. Police said they responded to Warren General Hospital for a report of a possible assault victim, a 47-year-old Russell woman, at 1:21 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15. According to police, the victim received treatment, including stitches, for a cut on her left ear, but did not wish to speak to troopers and would not give any information about the circumstances of her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two vehicle accident on Oct. 8 at 9:44 a.m. on US 6 at the intersection with the National Forge Road on ramp. A 2014 Subaru Impreza, driven by Maurice L. Bennett, Youngsville, was traveling eastbound on Route 6 in the left hand lane while a 2004 Chevrolet, driven by Donald L. Irwin, Youngsville, was traveling eastbound in the right hand lane. Irwin’s vehicle entered the left hand lane before it was clear to do so, striking Bennett’s vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage but were able to be driven from the scene. Both drivers were uninjured. Irwin was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Spring Creek Twp.

Firearms. Pennsylvania State Police charged Matthew J. Kienle, 19, of Springfield, with possession of a firearm with altered manufacturer number at about 8 p.m. Sunday at an oil lease road off of Beck Road in Spring Creek Township. According to police, Kienle was found to be in possession of a rifle with obliterated serial numbers. Kienle was arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer and released on $5,000 bail.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that on Oct. 12 at 1:20 a.m. Randy Scott Smith, 41, and Robert Jose Santiago, 45, both of Jamestown, NY, were attempting to take various items from State Line Auto Parts, Catlin Hill Rd., when they were scared off. The accused left their vehicle at the scene. Smith was found a short time later in the area while Santiago was not located. A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Santiago’s arrest. Anyone with information regarding his location is encouraged to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Conewango Twp.

Crash. Conewango Township police reported that at 1:34 p.m. on Oct. 9, Lucille Warren, Warren, was turning left from Rt. 62 onto Jackson Run Rd. when she turned directly in the path of a Dodge Dakota driven by Patty Mead, of Frewsburg, N.Y. Mead was unable to avoid a collision, and struck the passenger’s side rear door of Warren’s vehicle. The impact caused damage to both vehicles, rendering them both undrivable. No one was injured. Police were assisted at the scene by a Pennsylvania State Constable and Warren City Ambulance. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Freehold Twp.

DUI crash. State police report that a 1998 Ford F-150 driven by Donald Charles Harkins was traveling west on North Rd. in Freehold Township, when the truck left the north side of the road and struck an embankment. Harkins suffered no injuries, but his vehicle was disabled. Harkins was determined to be under the influence of an intoxicating beverage. He will face charges before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Charged. City of Warren Police charged Justin Wilkins, 33, of Warren, with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness on Thursday, Oct. 2, after police received a call reporting he was refusing to leave residence.

Fight. City of Warren Police charged Julie Rivera, 31, of Corry, with harassment and disorderly conduct on Saturday, Oct. 4, after police responded to a local establishment to the report of a fight.

Fight. City of Warren Police charged Laura Morse, 47, of Warren, with harassment on Saturday, Oct. 4, after police responded to a local establishment to the report of a fight.

Cited. City of Warren Police cited Mark Seaver, 47, of Warren, for public drunkenness at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, after officers responded to a report of a man passed out in bushes.

Drugs. City of Warren Police charged Joshua Lowery, 21, of Warren, with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 27 after police were requested to assist adult probation.

Theft. City of Warren Police charged Aloys Vine, 35, of Warren, with theft by unlawful taking and possession of marijuana on Tuesday, Oct. 7, following an investigation into an incident that occurred in July 2014.

Forgery. City of Warren Police charged Gretchen Bines, 28, of Bradford forgery on Monday, Oct. 6. Police said she was using someone else’s checking account with the victim’s knowledge.

Cited. City of Warren Police cited John Crowl III, 45, of Warren, for public drunkenness at 1:37 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, after he was observed by an officer having trouble walking.

Charged. City of Warren Police charged Michael Baxter, 30, of Warren, with possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness on Sept. 4 following an investigation into an incident that occurred in May of this year.

Charged. City of Warren Police charged Ryan Sweeney, 22, of Youngsville with criminal trespass, two counts of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness on Sept. 9 after police were notified of an intoxicated subject causing a disturbance in the parking lot of a local business.

Cited. City of Warren Police cited Brian Jashurek, 19, of Warren, for harassment and criminal mischief on Sept. 24 after police responded to a report that an individual had been assaulted.

Cited. City of Warren Police cited Riley Brown, 19, of Warren for harassment on Sept. 24 after police responded to a report that an individual had been assaulted.

Cited. City of Warren Police cited John Rickert, 57, of Warren, with right of way of pedestrians in a crosswalk following a traffic accident on Sept. 24 at the intersection of Third Avenue and Liberty Street in which a pedestrian was struck.

Trespass. Conewango Township Police charged Richard B. Eisenberg, of Waterford, with criminal trespass, at 5:19 p.m. Sept. 28, on Carrington Hollow Road. According to police, Eisenbert went onto property which was clearly posted with “no trespassing” signs and which he had twice been told to stay off.

Found. Pennsylvania State Police took possession of a bicycle that was left abandoned for about a week in the area of Leslie Boulevard and Wolfe Drive, Glade Manor, at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The owner may claim the bicycle by contacting Warren-based state police at 728-3600 and providing an accurate description.

DUI. Youngsville police reported that on Oct. 2 at approximately 10 p.m. James Anderson, Jr. of Irvine was arrested for driving under the influence. Police stopped Anderson on Route 6 in Youngsville for a traffic violation. Charges have been filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Brokenstraw Twp.

DUI crash. Pennsylvania State Police have charged Keller Wolfgang, 31, of Warren, with DUI and other traffic violations after a reported hit-and-run crash at 8:08 p.m. Sept. 19, on Route 6 in Brokenstrawn Township. According to police, a vehicle struck several construction barriers, then the driver driving away from the scene to the west, committed several other traffic violations. Police said Wolfgang was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Cited. James Ecklund, of N. Main St., Clarendon, was cited for disorderly conduct after Pennsylvania State Police responded to a report of a man walking up and down North Main Street causing a public disturbance, screaming, and using obscene language at noon on Friday, Oct. 3.

Tidioute

Theft. Tidioute Borough Police are looking for information regarding a theft the took place between Sept. 23 and Sept. 28 in which someone stole a DeWalt cordless drill valued at $130 from a vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact Tidioute police at 730-0441.

Glade Twp.

Charged. A 16-year-old boy has been charged through juvenile court with possession of a weapon on school property after Pennsylvania State Police responded to an incident in which a juvenile male was reported to be in possession of a knife at Warren Area High School on Sept. 30.

Mead Twp.

Burglary. According to Pennsylvania State Police, two boys, ages 12 and 14, both of Clarendon, who intended to steal plumbing parts and hardware valued at about $75 were caught inside a shed on Grill Hill Road, Mead Township, at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said the victim declined to cooperate with prosecution of the boys.

Spring Creek Twp.

Crash. Tanner D. Proper, 21, of Corry, was cited for a violation of driving vehicle at safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 11:15 a.m. Sept. 26, on Tri-County Line Road, Spring Creek Township. Pennsylvania State Police said Proper was driving east when he lost control of the vehicle on a left curve. The vehicle crossed into the north berm and struck an embankment before rolling onto its driver side and coming to rest. Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Crash. Robert L. Koszewski, 39, of Tidioute, was cited for a violation of driving on roadways laned for traffic after a one-vehicle crash at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 28, on Route 426 in Spring Creek Township. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Koszewski was driving east when the car drifted onto the northern shoulder, about 180 feet through a grassy area, up an embankment, then another tenth of a mile to a clearing where he pulled over.

Triumph Twp.

Theft. Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information regarding the theft of a trail camera, lockbox, and security cable between 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, and 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, from a tree near the 1581 Campbell Hill Road, Triumph Township. According to police, the camera and lockbox have the victim’s last name, Garman, engraved on the bottom as well as the originating agency identification (ORI) number for Lawrence Park Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Charged. On Oct. 3, Officers from the City of Warren police department charged Brian J. Viglo, 37, Warren, after an ongoing investigation where Viglo provided two juveniles with an alcoholic beverage and then attempted to have inappropriate contact with one of them. Viglo was charged with criminal attempt at involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children, indecent assault, selling or furnishing liquor or malt brewed beverages to minors. Viglo was arraigned in front of District Justice Glenn Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail on $100,000.00 bail.

Theft. State police report on September 1, Jennifer L. Lobdell, 38, Tidioute, was working at the residence of the victim when she removed two separate pain medications prescribed to the victim. Lobdell has been charged with misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving stolen property. Further court action is pending.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Drugs. On September 29, at 3:37 p.m., state police made a speeding violation traffic stop was made Route 6, just west of the Forge Curve. The driver, Jeremiah James Kays gave the officer a false name. After further investigation, he was found to be Kays, who had an active warrant from state parole. Police took him into custody, and searched the vehicle. Drugs, paraphernalia were found, along with a digital scale and baggies. Kays was transported to the Warren County Jail on a detainer from state parole. Charges were filed against Kays for possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy for possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, false identification to a law enforcement officer and several summary traffic violations. He was arraigned on October 1, and committed to the Warren County Jail on $50,000 bail. A known 30-year old passenger from Bear Lake was also charged with conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Glade Twp.

Crash. State police report that on October 1, at 12:04 p.m., Curtis Chase, of Warren, was driving a 2007 Ford Ranger on north on Cobham Park Road. When he slowed to turn into a private driveway 30 feet north of Page Hollow Road, James McMeans of Warren, driving a 2003 GMC Sonoma failed to see Chase making a left turn and rear-ended Chase. Both operators were the single occupants of the vehicles, were wearing seat belts, and were not injured. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, and McMeans was cited for following too closely.

Pleasant Twp.

Crash. State police report that on October 2, at 4:50 p.m., Alicia L. Steffan, 23, Sheffield was driving a 2001 Buick LeSabre southbound on Pleasant Road, approximately 1345 feet south of Pleasant Drive when she fell asleep at the wheel. Her vehicle drifted southwest off the roadway, traveled 190 feet down an embankment, and came to rest after striking trees and brush. She was wearing a lap and shoulder belt, and was not injured. Steffan was charged with a violation of roadways laned for traffic.

Sheffield Twp.

Theft. State police report on August 29, Jennifer L. Lobdell, 38, Tidioute, was working at a residence on Pickering Street when she removed 32 prescription medication pills belonging to the victim. Lobdell has been charged with misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving stolen property. Further court action is pending.

Spring Creek Twp.

Crash. State police report Robert Koszewski, 39, of Tidioute, was traveling east on Route 426 at 9:30 p.m. on September 28 in a 2011 Subaru Legacy when the vehicle drifted off the roadway onto the northern shoulder. The vehicle traveled approximately 1880 feet through a grassy area, and up an embankment. Koszewski drove a short distance to a clearing where he pulled off the roadway. He and two passengers were wearing restraint systems, and no one was injured. He was cited with a violation of driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Conewango Twp.

Nuisance. Conewango Township Police charged Jamie Lee Sutliff, 3170 Yankee Bush Road, with a garbage nuisance violation at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2. According to police, in May, police investigated a report of large amounts of garbage lying on Sutliff’s property and gave him 15 days to clean up. Sutliff was then charged after failing to clean up after the 15 days, police said. Police said they discovered the property still had not been cleaned up as of Thursday and cited Sutliff again.

Possession. Conewango Township Police charged Jeanette Alice Shock, 217 N. State St., North Warren, with possession of a small amount of marijuana at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26. According to police, Warren/Forest Economic Opportunity Council workers conducted a search of EOC property at the 217 N. State address and found a small amount of marijuana in Shock’s bedroom. Police charged Shock after they were called to the scene.

Sugar Grove

Crash. The driver of an SUV involved in a one-vehicle crash at 12:04 a.m. Thursday on Route 957 in Sugar Grove Borough reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Tyler J. Steppe, 28, of Falconer, N.Y., was driving north when he fell asleep. The vehicle crossed the center line of the road and continued about 90 feet before striking a utility pole on the west side of the road, police said. Steppe was cited for careless driving.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Fugitive from justice. Warren-based state police reported that on Sept. 30 at 11:48 a.m. Charles Thomas Williams, 50, Pittsfield Township, was contacted during a traffic stop for a violation and it was found that Williams was wanted out of Florida. Police said Williams was taken into custody, arraigned and committed to the Warren County Jail awaiting extradition. Summary charges for the traffic violation were filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Conewango Twp.

Theft by unlawful taking. Conewango Township police and Wal-Mart loss prevention personnel conducted an investigation into complaints of Wal-Mart customers that had money taken from their checking accounts. It was learned that a cashier, Abigail Higgins, 24, Warren, had scanned customers’ checks and then added an extra $20 when entering the amount into the register. Police said after the customer departed Higgins then removed $20 from the register and kept the money. Police said the customers were compensated by Wal-Mart and Higgins has been charged with three counts of theft by unlawful taking for three separate victims totaling $60.

Tidioute

DUI. Tidioute Borough police are charging Sharon Wise, 53, Tionesta, with DUI, three counts of hit and run and careless driving after an incident that occurred along Main Street at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 when Wise struck three vehicles and failed to stop. Police said after being located, Wise was found to be under the influence. Police were assisted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and Warren-based state police, who transported Wise.

Charged. Warren City police arrested Brian J. Viglo, 37, Warren, on Sept. 26 after an investigation of inappropriate contact with a juvenile. Police said Viglo was charged with rape of child, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, corruption of minor, indecent assault, endangering welfare of children, indecent exposure and other charges. Police said Viglo was arraigned in front of District Justice Glenn Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $150,000 bail.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Pa. 957 west of Page Hollow Rd. on Sept. 29 at 8:40 p.m. A 2001 Dodge Dakota, driven by Garry E. Campbell, Russell, was traveling east on Pa. 957 and struck a horse that had run on the roadway. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Youngsville

Burglary. Youngsville police are investigating a burglary that occurred on Sept. 26 on Marsh Ave. in Youngsville, between the hours of 1:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. The victim had an XBOX 360 stolen as well as two controllers and two flash drives totaling about $300. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
