DUI. Conewango Township police said they were called to a Market Street location in North Warren at 9:15 a.m. Sept. 17 for a reported intoxicated man behind the wheel of a Dodge pickup truck in a parking lot. Police said following a BAC report Conrad Condron, 52, Clarendon, was charged with DUI high rate.
Glade Twp.
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police said an unknown white male entered the unlocked residence of Melissa McKissock, 1881 Cobham Park Rd., at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 29. Police said the male is described as approximately 5’7″ tall with a slim build and wearing a dark green hat and glasses. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Criminal mischief. On Sept. 6 at 10 p.m., Conewango Township police investigated a disturbance on Jackson Run Rd. Carolyn Dickson, 47, Warren, was charged with criminal mischief after causing $537 worth of damage to a House of Television van. A criminal complaint was filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Eldred Twp.
Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police reported that unknown subject(s) removed a new 200 amp electrical service panel from a mounted post and a new 100 amp electrical service panel that was still in the box from a property on Chappel Hill Rd. in Eldred Twp. between1:20 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 24. Pine Grove Twp.
Retail theft. State police in Warren are investigating the theft of a range finder from Tall Tales Sporting Goods store between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sept. 22. The investigation is continuing.
Criminal mischief. State police reported that Charles Franklin Kemery, III, 43, of Russell knocked over four auction signs at the intersection of Priest Hollow Road and Cole Hill Road at 11 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Pittsfield Twp.
Aggravated assault. State police troopers responded to a criminal mischief complaint at a private residence on Old Garland Road on Sept. 25, at 10:20 p.m., after Rose Marie Hultberg, 48, of Pittsfield Township allegedly damaged a vehicle belonging to Columbia Gas of Pa. While troopers were at the scene, Hultberg kicked a victim in the groin, then threw a box at a trooper, hitting him in the shoulder. Hultberg was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. She was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on $20,000 cash bail.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Theft. State police in Warren are investigating a theft that occurred between Aug. 10 and Sept. 17 at a residence on Hessell Valley Rd. in Sugar Grove Township while a suspect was house sitting for the victims. The investigation is continuing.
Theft by unlawful taking. State police are investigating a theft of multiple milking items and a radiator for a Dodge Ram pickup by unknown subject(s) that occurred between 10 p.m. on Sept. 25 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 26. The theft occurred on Route 957.
Warren
Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Greg Markham, 30, of Warren on September 26 at about 3:30 p.m. on a bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for his parole revocation hearing. He was placed in the Warren County jail pending further court action. Warren County Adult Probation assisted.
Watson Twp.
Motorcycle accident. State police reported that Jonathan M. McChesney, 51, of Tidioute was northbound on Route 62 on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 6:26 a.m. on a 2006 Yamaha VStar Classic when he encountered a downed tree blocking the northbound lane and one-half of the southbound lane. McChesney swerved into the southbound lane to avoid the tree, but struck it with the the motorcycle and lost control, traveled 210 feet and struck the guard rail. He was transported by Tidioute Volunteer Fire Department to Warren General Hospital with minor injuries. He was wearing a helmet, and no charges have been filed.

Hit and run. Conewango Township police reported that on Sept. 18 between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. an unknown vehicle struck a black 2013 Hyundai sedan while it was parked at the Warren State Hospital grounds for a soccer function. Damage is estimated at $900. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police at 726-0725.
Hit and run. Conewango Township police are looking for information about a hit-and-run crash at Walmart at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10. According to police, a newer silver Toyota 4Runner custom backed into an occupied vehicle parked in Row 7. Police said the driver of the 4Runner got out of the vehicle, observed the damage, drove to another parking spot, and checked the damage again before walking into the store. The driver, who failed to notify police nor the owner of the other vehicle, is described as an older white male, balding, with gray hair, six feet tall, wearing Transitions glasses.
Glade Twp.
Harassment. Warren Area High School staff members reported to state police that two 16-year-old male students engaged in a fight on school property on Sept. 22 at 3:15 p.m. Police said both students were cited for harassment.
Theft by deception. Warren-based state police said they are investigating the theft of approximately $12,000 from the Warren Dragons’ Band Boosters over the past four years. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police, 728-3600, or Warren County Crimestoppers, 1-800-832-7463.
Youngsville
DUI. Youngsville Borough police reported that on Sept. 14 at approximately 1:15 a.m. they arrested David Whitten, 50, Youngsville, for driving under the influence. Police said Whitten was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint on Route 6 by members of the Warren County DUI Task Force.
DUI. Youngsville Borough police reported that on Sept. 14 at approximately 12:10 a.m. they arrested Jeffrey Pfoutz, 47, Youngsville, for driving under the influence. Pfoutz was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint by members of the Warren County DUI Task Force.

Warren
Resisting arrest. City of Warren police reported that on Sept. 23 at 7:39 a.m. officers attempted contact with a known suspect in the parking lot of a local business who had an active Warren County Adult Probation supervisors warrant for his arrest. Police said the suspect, Gary L. McGregor, 25, Warren, resisted arrest and fled from an officer who was attempting to take him into custody. Police said they located McGregor at his residence at 104 Averil St. where he was subsequently taken into custody. Police said new charges of escape, resisting arrest and obstruction of law or government functions were filed against McGregor, who was remanded to the Warren County Jail and will be arraigned by District Justice Glenn Carlson at a later date. City police said they were assisted at the scene by Warren-based state police, Conewango Township police, Pennsylvania Constables and Warren County Adult Probation.

Burglary. Warren-based state police said that between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Sept. 21 two known juvenile males one 15 years old and one 14 year sold, both of Warren forcibly gained entry into two buildings at the IA Construction plant and removed numerous items. Police said the juveniles also entered several vehicles and turned on the headlights and running lights. Police said the suspects were identified by witnesses at the scene and interviewed a short time later. Numerous items belonging to the victim were also recovered from one of the juvenile’s residence. Police said charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief will be filed through the juvenile probation department.

Theft. Sheffield Township police reported that they are investigating a theft which occurred on Sept. 20 between noon and 7 p.m. Police said someone entered a storage shed at 510 Center St. and removed a black/blue golf bag containing numerous golf clubs and accessories. Twp.
Hit and run. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. on Hearts Content Road, a half mile west of Minister Road. The crash occurred as a 2000 Buick Regal, driven by a known 54-year-old male, Clarendon, was traveling west while a 1998 Dodge van, driven by Douglas Kirk Hanes, 56, Sugar Grove, was traveling east. Police said the unnamed driver entered the eastbound lane where it struck Hanes’ vehicle. Both units stopped for a brief period of time then the unidentified male fled the scene heading west before being located, identified and found to be under the influence. Police said charges of DUI, accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property and various summary traffic violations are pending blood alcohol results. Police said both drivers were uninjured and both vehicles were driven from the scene. The Warren County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
Limestone Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 7 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 19 someone took a five-gallon gas can containing five gallons of gas off of the back porch from Frank Anthony Pagley’s residence on Hill Drive. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that between 11 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 15 Nicholas Andrew Tobin, 30, Erie, is alleged to have pushed the victim, a known female, 27, New York, during a domestic dispute causing her to fall. Police said Tobin was cited for summary harassment through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between Sept. 9 and Sept. 14 someone gained access to the residence of Philip Nosko, Grand Valley, and removed several items, namely a Remington Model 600 Mohawk .243 Win. bolt action rifle. Youngsville
Retail theft. Warren-based state police reported that on Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Elizabeth Ann Clark, 29, Youngsville, removed an LED Halloween candle from Dollar General in Youngsville without paying for it. Police said a charge of retail theft has been filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

DUI. Warren-based state police said Brandon Wilson, 22, Tiona, was stopped on Sept. 6 at 12:51 a.m. for several summary traffic violations on Morrison Run Road and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Police said charges are pending with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

DUI, underage drinking. Warren-based state police said a vehicle being operated by Baylie Leveto, 19, Edinboro, was stopped in the Route 6 area of National Forge Road at 9:05 p.m. Sept. 12 for a traffic violation. Police said Leveto was found to be under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested for DUI and underage consumption. Police said her three passengers Billie Myers, 19, Meadville; Taylor Toski, 19, Cambridge Springs; and Evan Duncan, 20, Warren were all cited for underage consumption or possession. Charges were filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
Pine Grove Twp.
Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Routes 62 and 957 at 1 p.m. Sept. 6. According to police, Kasey Whitmire, 24, Warren, was westbound on Route 957 in a 1998 Chevrolet C1500 and failed to stop at the flashing red light and wait for southbound traffic on Route 62 to clear the intersection. Police said Whitmire proceeded through the intersection and her vehicle was struck by a southbound 2008 Chevrolet Uplander operated by Jill Laemmerhirt, 45, Jamestown, N.Y. Police said neither Whitmire, her passenger, Kyle Whitmire, 24, Warren, nor Laemmerhirt were injured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police said Kasey Whitmire was cited for flashing signals.
Pittsfield Twp.
DUI. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Old Pittsfield Road and Coovers Crossing Road at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16. According to police, Julie Gorton, 57, Pittsfield, drove her vehicle into a ditch. Police said it was determined that Gorton was under the influence. She was arrested for DUI. Assisting at the scene were Warren County Sheriff’s Department deputies.
Erie County
Arrested. Warren County Sheriff deputies, with assistance from Erie County Parole, arrested Joseph Salzillo, 26, 802 8th St., Apt. 2, Erie, at his residence on Sept. 18 on two bench warrants issued by Common Pleas Court for failure to appear for Fines and Costs Court on original charges of burglary and criminal trespass. Deputies said he was placed in the Warren County Prison pending further court action.

Theft. Conewango Township police reported that Blaine Beatty, 22, Warren, has been charged with theft by unlawful taking after an investigation into missing money from the employee tip jar at Subway located within Walmart in North Warren. Police said Beatty removed money from the jar as employees were distracted. A criminal complaint has been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Theft. Conewango Township police reported that on Sept. 11 a male with a shaved head pulled into the North Warren car wash driving a white Ford minivan. He then proceeded to damage a coin-operated machine to gain entry to the coins. Police said the suspect stole $200 worth of coins from the machine and then fled the scene. Police said this is the second time that the same suspect has stolen money from the machine. Anyone with information is asked to contact Conewango Township police.
Youngsville
Quick change artist. Youngsville Borough police reported that on Sept. 16 at approximately 6:40 p.m. two black males walked into the Kwik Fill gas station in Youngsville and pulled a scam on the store employee taking approximately $47 in cash from the cash register. Once of the males stayed in the car at the gas pump for about five minutes until the other male is inside in conversation with the clerk. They ask the clerk to break a $50 for him. So she does, then he gives her a twenty back to break it down and asks for a pack of cigarettes on top of this to confuse her. They are asking her to break down so many bills that in the process she loses track of the money and they leave with the cash. Then one male apologized for the confusion and walked out. The driver of a sedan, which appeared to be silver or gold, walked into the station first. He was wearing a NY Yankees cap with a white golf shirt and khakis, approximately 6′ and over 275 pounds. The second male is approximately 5′ 11″, over 300 pounds and was wearing a black tee shirt and gray sweats. The second male asked for Bob Marley cigars and then left. They traveled away from the cameras and headed toward Warren. Anyone with information is asked to contact Youngsville police.

Warren-based state police reported that sometime between Sept. 1 and 15 someone spray-painted obscene words onto both sides of a dumpster belong to Casell Waste, Jamestown, N.Y.,that was located on Miller Hill Road. Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Bimber Run Road, west of Shaney Road, at 5:05 p.m. Sept. 13. According to police, Kenneth McGarvey, 56, Erie, was northbound on Bimber Run Road, just south of the Tidioute Overlook when his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado crossed the center line and struck a horse trailer being towed by a 2006 Dodge Ram operated by Julia Duckett, 61, Edinboro. Police said McGarvey fled the scene without exchanging information, but they located after his vehicle after it was not able to be driven further. Police said McGarvey was found to be under the influence and was arrested for DUI and several traffic violations. Police said neither driver was injured and Duckett was able to drive her vehicle from the scene.
Pine Grove Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that on Sept. 15 at 3:40 p.m a known 16-year-old male, Russell, unlawfully entered an abandoned dwelling in the area of Swede Hill Road and Route 957 where he intentionally punched and kicked several holes in the wall. Police said they were contacted by a nearby neighbor as the crime was being committed. Police said they located the suspect near the abandoned structure. Police said charges are pending in the investigation with Warren County Juvenile Probation and include burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
Tidioute
Theft. Tidioute Borough police reported that at 1:52 a.m. on Monday morning a white male in his late 20s or early 30s broke into the pop machine in front of Buccardo’s Restaurant and took the coin changer. At 2:13 a.m. the same male attempted to gain entry to the pop machines at the Tidioute fire hall but was spooked by a nearby resident. The male was operating a silver/gray Ford with blue tinted headlights. After obtaining video from Buccardos, police will attempt to enhance the male’s photo to attempt to identify.

Found property. On Saturday, Sept. 13, Conewango Township Police responded to a report of found property at Wal Mart. A ring was found in a gymnastics donation tag days jar located in front of the building. The ring is believed to have been mistakenly placed in the jar Friday night, September 12. Sheffield Twp.
Theft. Sheffield Township Police are investigating a theft that occurred at Sheffield High School. An unknown person removed approximately $265.00 from a students wallet in the boys’ locker room during school last week. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 968-56-10.
Theft. Sheffield Township Police are investigating a theft of a large black foot locker on wheels from a locked office in the girls’ locker room at Sheffield High School. The locker contained approximately $2,000 worth of archery hunting equipment and clothing. The items were a grant for the Explore Bow Hunting Pilot Program with the Warren County School District and the Pennsylvania Game Commission. The exact time frame of the theft is unknown, and anyone with information is asked to call the police at 968-5610.

Columbus Twp.
DUI crash. State police in Corry reported that on Sept. 13 at 10:50 p.m., Steven Glenn Klakamp, 24, Bear Lake, was traveling west in a 2001 Chevy Impala on State Route 6 at Scott’s Crossing Road when he failed to stop at a steady red light and rear-ended a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by Janelle Troyer, of Corry, who was stopped at the light. Troyer’s vehicle then struck a 2013 Toyota Camry driven by Justin Matthew Miscik, 26, of Spring Creek, who was also stopped at the light. It was determined that Klakamp was intoxicated, and he was taken into custody. A seven-year old male passenger in Klakamp’s vehicle was wearing a seatbelt, but was not secured in a booster seat. A ten-year old female in Troyer’s vehicle, and Troyer were also wearing seatbelts, as was Miscik. There were no injuries, but the juveniles and Troyer were transported to Corry Memorial Hospital for evaluations. The Klakamp and Troyer vehicles were towed from the scene, and the Miscik vehicle was driven from the scene. State police were assisted by Corry Ambulance, Elgin Ambulance and Columbus Volunteer Fire Department.
Farmington Twp.
Fugitive from justice. At 9:18 a.m. on Sept. 12, Jason Lee Slack, 40, of Warren was taken into custody at his residence on Miller Hill Road after Pennsylvania State Police received a felony warrant from the state of Florida. Slack was committed to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail by District Justice Laura Bauer. He will be extradited to Florida in the near future.
Youngsville
Arrested. Christopher Fletcher, 31, of Warren was taken into custody by Youngsville Police on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at approximately 3 p.m. after an officer received information that Fletcher was on a TAWC bus headed into Youngsville and that he was wanted by police. Fletcher was turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and placed in the Warren County Jail.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between Sept. 6 at 11 a.m. and Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. someone shot several BB’s at a mailbox belonging to Charles R. Osborne, Wilson Rd., causing damage.
Glade Twp.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that on Sept. 11 at 12:15 p.m. at Warren Area High School a known juvenile male intentionally damaged another known male juvenile’s cell phone by throwing it onto the ground. Charges were filed against the accused through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office for a summary criminal mischief count.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between Sept. 5 and Sept. 7 someone used an unknown object to damage the door knob on a shed belonging to Papco, Inc., Warren. Damage was also done to the outside wall of the shed using an unknown sharp object. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Burglary. Corry-based state police reported that between Sept. 9 at 2:30 p.m. and Sept. 10 at 3:30 a.m. someone broke open the back door to gain access to a trailer belonging to Mathew Todd Sturgis, Bear Lake. Police said a wrist watch was taken. Police said the approximate value of the watch is $20.
Mead Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle tractor trailer accident on Route 6 on Sept. 9 at 6:08 a.m. According to police, a 2004 Peterbilt 379, driven by Scott M. Meeks, 36, Kane, was traveling east on Route 6 when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and traveled off the east berm. The vehicle struck the guard rail off the eastern berm, at which time Meeks over-corrected and the truck and trailer overturned. Police said the vehicle traveled approximately 250 feet before coming to rest on its side. Police said the vehicle suffered disabling damage as a result of the crash but Meeks reported no injuries. Police said Meeks was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic. Glade volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.
Youngsville
Assault. Youngsville Borough police reported that on Aug. 27 at approximately 7:40 p.m. they were dispatched for an assault in progress. Police said a 16-year-old male allegedly assaulted a staff member at the treatment facility on E. Main Street. Police said charges have been filed with Juvenile Probation.
Identity theft. Youngsville Borough police said they have received two reports of identity thefts within the past week. Two known females have reported to police that an unknown person used their credit/debit account information to purchase items out of state. Police said they are working with the victim’s banks.
Theft. Aaron Whitford, W. Main Street, reported to Youngsville Borough police that someone hacked his account and made several charges online in excess of $100. Police said they are investigating the incidents.

Cruelty to animals, criminal mischief. Personnel at Allegheny White Tails, 2383 Cable Hollow Rd., reported to Warren-based state police that sometime between 6 p.m. Aug. 31 and 1 p.m. Sept. 1 someone shot and killed a domesticated deer that was inside a private deer enclosure. Police said the three-year-old prime breeding doe was valued at $20,000. Police said Allegheny White Tails is owned by Gregory Manelick, 59, of Anchorage, Alaska. Cited. Warren-based state police said Paul Sherer, 21, Erie, was cited for harassment following an incident that occurred at a private residence in Russell between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 31. According to police, Sherer subjected a 22-year-old female to unwanted physical contact during a domestic dispute. Police said Sherer was cited for harassment; charges were filed at District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office in Youngsville.

Burglary. Corry-based state police said someone entered a residence at 171 Cottage Park between Tuesday and Friday through an unlocked window and removed $1,700 worth of household items and $1,450 worth of tools.

Theft from motor vehicle. Conewango Township police said someone entered an unlocked GMC Envoy at 4210 Market Street on Friday between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. and removed a black leather purse, black wallet, an Insense tablet, approximately $200 in cash and various unfilled prescriptions. Eldred Twp.
Fugitive from justice. Warren-based state police said Jeremy Lee Paden, 33, Pittsfield, was wanted by the Willoughby Hills, Ohio, Police Department. Paden was located and taken into custody on Sunday. He was arraigned by District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth. Bail was set at $25,000 and he was committed to the Warren County Jail.
Mead Twp.
Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police said a “Kinzua Beach Concessions” wooden sign valued at $200 was removed from the entrance to the Kinzua Marina along Route 59 between 2 p.m. Wednesday and 2 p.m. Thursday.
Jamestown, N.Y.
Fugitives captured. Jamestown, N.Y., police say Trenton Grant, 20, and Isiah Pearson, 20, were located Friday night in Jackson, Tenn., by members of the ATF and U.S. Marshal’s Office. Grant and Pearson, who were considered armed and dangerous, were wanted in connection with a burglary of a Lakewood, N.Y., residence where a loaded pistol was taken and then used in a shooting of a Jamestown man. Police said both men are being held in Madison County, Tenn., Jail and will be extradited back to Jamestown for felony burglary and additional charges related to the shooting. Investigators are asking anyone with information on how Grant and Pearson were able to leave the area to call the Jamestown Police Department at 716-483-7537 or leave an anonymous tip at 716-483-8477. Investigators say several individuals in Jamestown did provide assistance and transportation for Grant and Pearson to get out of the area.

Drug bust. The Jamestown (NY) Police Department has announced the arrest of five individuals, who are being held for arraignment, on narcotics search warrants. Investigators and officers from the department, who were assisted by SWAT officers from the department, executed three search warrants at three apartments at 1091 E. 2nd St. and a basement at 840 E. 2nd St. Upon entry into the location at 1091 E. 2nd St., it was discovered that a vacant upper apartment was being used on the second floor to sell and use heroin. It is believed that the subjects charged had broken into this vacant apartment and had been using it for this purpose for some time. Investigators did locate a large quantity of heroin, 36 bundles, and cash at the location and have charged the following subjects: Jose Diaz-Solis, 51, with criminal possession of a controlled substance and burglary; Cesar Santiago, 37, with burglary, Hiram Donato, 31, criminal possession of a controlled substance and burglary and LizMarie Rodriguez, 30, criminal possession of a controlled substance. Charges against a fifth male are pending for burglary from this location. A search of 840 E. 2nd St. revealed a quantity of marijuana and cash. Charged there was Valerie Comacho, 20, who was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child as two small children were in the home at the time of the incident as well as unlicensed possession of marijuana.

Crash. Warren City police said Gary D. Carlson, 64, Clarendon, was involved in a hit and run accident to an occupied vehicle at the Kwik Fill gas station, 2016 Pennsylvania Ave E., on July 2. Police said Carlson was charged with one count of accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property.
Charged. Warren City police said Josh L. Anderson, 34, Youngsville, engaged in a relationship with a minor child without parental consent in the City of Warren on July 22. Police said Anderson was charged with interference with the custody of children, corruption of minors and obstructing the administration of law or other government functions. Anderson was arraigned in front of District Justice Glenn Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $20,000 bail.
Arrested. Warren City police said Heather J. Tremblay, 25, Youngsville, was arrested for one count of obstructing the administration of law or other government functions on Aug. 24 after she contacted a known victim of a sexual assault for the suspect in that case. Tremblay was arraigned in front of District Justice Glenn Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $5,000 bail.
Crash. Warren City police said officers took Steven M. Amon, 41, Warren, into custody on Aug. 7 after he crashed into multiple road signs and a telephone pole in the 200 block of E. Fifth Avenue. Police said Amon drove from the scene and parked his disabled vehicle and attempted to walk home. Police said Amon was found walking with his passenger and taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and later charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence involving an accident, driving under the influence highest rate refusal, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, immediate notification of accident to law enforcement, driving on roadways laned for traffic, careless driving and false identification to law enforcement.
Simple assault. Warren City police said John A. Snyder, 43, Warren, engaged in a domestic dispute with a known female on Aug. 10. Police said Snyder was charged with one count of simple assault.
Rape. Warren City police said Bill C. Thomas Sr., 54, Warren, was taken into custody after an investigation of Thomas forcing himself on a known juvenile female on Aug. 21. Police said Thomas was charged with rape, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, and corruption of minors. Police said Thomas was arraigned in front of District Justice Laura Bauer and placed in the Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Retail theft. Warren City police said Thomas E. Malone, 43, Warren, allegedly took a 24-pack of Pepsi without paying for the item on Aug. 26. Police said Malone was charged with retail theft and theft by unlawful taking.
Columbus Twp.
Underage drinking. Corry-based state police reported that on Aug. 31 between 8:45 p.m. and 9 p.m. Cierra Shianne Miller, 19, and Markus James Meredith, 20, both of Ripley, N.Y., were encountered at the Cornfield 500, Route 6, and found to be in possession of alcoholic beverages. Police said underage drinking charges are pending through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Tidioute-Creek Road on Sept. 2 at 5:08 p.m. A 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, driven by Hayley M. Moore, 21, Tidioute, was traveling north on Tidioute-Creek Road and, while negotiating a left hand curve, traveled off the west side of the roadway and traveled 10 feet before striking a metal post. The vehicle continued an additional 15 feet before striking a second post, then traveled 45 feet, re-entering the roadway and coming to rest across both lanes of traffic. Police said Moore was not injured in the crash. Moore was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.
Jamestown, NY
Heroine bust. Jamestown Police reported that drug investigators in conjunction with members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed three search warrants on Wednesday morning at three residences on Franklin St. in Jamestown that resulted in the seizure of 260 doses of heroin, a sawed-off shotgun and a large sum of cash. The raids also resulted in four separate suspects being taken into custody. With the assistance of the Jamestown police SWAT teams, investigators searched 52 Franklin St. and located a quantity of heroin and cash and charges Jose Sanquiche, 37, with criminal possession of a controlled substance. SWAT also made entry into 58 Franklin St. and investigators located more heroine and cash and charged Juan Vargas-Lopez, 30, and Stephanie Castro, 26, both with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Investigators also searched 61 Franklin St. and did locate a sawed-off shotgun and did charge Raul Rodriguez-Colon, 62, with criminal possession of a firearm. All suspects were transported to the city jail where police said they were awaiting arraignment.

Brokenstraw Twp.
Crash. Pennsylvania State Police have charged Brian G. Mineweaser, 48, of Warren, with careless driving, after a 2 a.m. crash Saturday on Dunns Eddy Road in Brokenstraw Township. According to police, Mineweaser was driving north at the intersection of National Forge Road when the vehicle left the road, crossed the berm, and struck a guard rail. The vehicle then crossed both lanes of National Forge Road dragging a section of guard rail and began to slide clockwise, according to police. The vehicle then rolled down an embankment, police said, and during the roll an ATV that had been in the back of the truck became dislodged. Police said Mineweaser fled the scene on foot before police arrived.
Conewango Twp.
Lost item. Conewango Township Police are looking for information regarding a wallet that was lost at 12:20 p.m. Saturday, at Burger King in North Warren. According to police, the brown leather wallet with a brown and white eagle on the front is believed to have been lost in the drive-through area, the parking lot, or in the restaurant. The owner returned to locate the wallet, but it was gone, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Conewango Police at 726-0725.
