Bad checks. Warren-based state police charged Shaina Mason of Warren with bad checks and issued a warrant for her arrest after she allegedly paid her rent with a personal check that was denied for insufficient funds on May 27.

Glade Twp.

Scam. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident in which a Scandia Road woman was scammed out of $350 between May 1 and July 29. According to police, the woman was contacted by someone claiming to represent Publishers Clearinghouse and told she had to provide $350 in order to receive her winnings. After paying the money, the victim was contacted by people claiming to be law enforcement agents, police and FBI, police said. She was told she would get her winnings, but had to provide more money. The victim contacted state police after receiving those calls.

Conewango Twp.

Weapons. Conewango Township Police charged Adam J. Mintzer, 28, of 30 N. State St., North Warren, with two counts of possession of prohibited offensive weapons at 11 a.m. Monday, July 21. Police said Mintzer was found to be in possession of two switchblade knives at his residence. Mintzer was taken to Warren County Jail after he failed to post $2,500 bail.

Freehold Twp.

Crash. Corry-based state police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 4 p.m. Monday, July 28, at 38245 Route 6, Bear Lake. According to police, an unknown eastbound vehicle left the road and entered the front yard at 38245 Route 6 and drove away. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Sheffield Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police said they charged Norman Dale VanWinkle, 25, Sheffield, with harassment following a verbal and physical disagreement at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at 205 Pickering St., Police said VanWinkle and a 22-year-old female were involved in a verbal disagreement when VanWinkle allegedly shoved the woman.

DUI. City of Warren Police charged David Rutsky, 54, Warren, with DUI, turning movements, and required signals following a traffic stop on June 20.

Burglary. City of Warren Police charged two juvenile boys with burglary and criminal trespass after an incident that took place at 5 a.m. Monday, July 14. According to police, the boys entered an occupied residence and fled when confronted by the homeowner.

Fugitive. City of Warren Police charged Mickey Darling, 39, Jamestown N.Y., as a fugitive from justice on Thursday, July 17. Police said Darling was found to be living in Warren with an active warrant for his arrest from New York State Parole. Darling was taken to Warren County Jail after failing to post $10,000 bail.

Cited. City of Warren Police cited Tierra Card, 18, and Erich Cox, 20, both of Warren, for harassment following a domestic dispute at their residence on Sunday, July 20.

Trespass. City of Warren Police cited Brion Thomas, 44, Clarendon, for criminal mischief and trespassing. According to police, a resident reported that a man known to her was on the roof of her home without permission.

Cited. City of Warren Police cited Daniel Haskins, 26, Warren, for public drunkenness on Sunday, July 27, after police allegedly observed him lying face down in the grass of a local school at 2:16 a.m.

Conewango Twp.

Underage. Conewango Township Police cited Cole Wilson, 18; Zachary Snodgrass, 19; and a male juvenile for underage drinking at 1:33 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at 114 Vine St. after police, who were responding to a separate incident, allegedly found them to be under the influence of and in possession of alcohol. Police said citations were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. City of Warren Police assisted at the scene.

Tidioute

Crash. Warren-based state police are investigating a hit-and-run crash which occurred about 2:45 a.m. Saturday, July 26, on McGuire Street. Police said a legally parked 2011 Jeep Patriot was struck by an unknown vehicle. Police said the hit-and-run vehicle is missing its passenger side mirror and will have white paint transfer on its passenger side door and fender area. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Farmington Twp.

Mischief. Warren-based state police are looking for information regarding a case of destruction of private property. According to police, someone burned a straw duck that was part of a Warren County Fair contest at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at Miller Hill Road and West Road. Police said the estimated value of the item was $100. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Freehold Twp.

Theft. A black Craftsman Dump Wagon, a black and red Black and Decker weed trimmer, and an orange Grass Hog weed trimmer were taken from a Route 958 property between Wednesday, July 9 and Tuesday, July 22. According to police, the estimated value of the items is $110.

Sheffield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police are looking for information regarding a hit-and-run crash which occurred at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at Second Street and West Main Street in Sheffield. According to police, a legally parked car was struck by an unknown vehicle that left in an unknown direction. Police said the hit-and-run vehicle may have minor damage to its front driver side. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

McKean County

Burglary. Mt. Jewett-based state police are investigating a break-in that occurred between 12:01 a.m. Sunday, July 20, and 7:30 a.m. Friday, July 25, at a Ludlow shed belonging to a Sheffield man. Police said someone broke a window, entered the shed, and took a Husqvarna weed trimmer and miscellaneous tools. Police said the damage and lost items carry an estimated value of $550. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Theft – fraud and forgery. Suzanne Shultz, 60, Hummingbird Lane, reported to Warren-based state police that her Eriebank debit card was fraudulently charged for a total of $205.32 on July 21 to purchase items at various online websites. Police said the investigation is continuing.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 15 at approximately 10 p.m. on Irvine Run Road, 2.5 miles west of Danielson Road. According to police, a 2010 Dodge Journey, driven by Joshua E. Boozer, 28, Youngsville, was traveling south on Irvine Run Road when it drifted off the west edge of the roadway. Police said the vehicle continued to travel approximately 110 feet alongside the roadway over several small trees and brush before hitting a tree. Boozer was not injured, but the vehicle sustained disabling damage.

Deerfield Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between 5 p.m. July 6 and 10:30 a.m. July 17 someone intentionally smashed four exterior windows of a camp belonging to Kenneth Hill, 59, Rochester Mills, Pa. Police said damage is estimated at $250. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Farmington Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 16 at 8:30 a.m. on Jackson Run Road, west of Creamery Road. Police said an unknown vehicle traveled off the roadway, striking a mailbox and a deer crossing sign. Police said the vehicle continued west without stopping.

Glade Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that on July 14 at 8 a.m. someone pulled a ‘No Trespassing’ sign off a wooden stake located at a private camp on Shipmans Eddy Road belonging to George E. Jerman, 63, Warren. Damage is estimated at $1.50. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pine Grove Twp.

Access device fraud. Warren-based state police reported that between July 1 and July 12 someone used a credit card belonging to Gregory Charles Larocca, 63, Werner Drive, to make an unauthorized purchase via the internet.

ATV crash. Warren-based state police responded to an ATV accident on July 11 at 12:14 a.m. on Peterson Hollow Road, approximately one mile north of Valentine Run Road. According to police, Andrew James Onoratti, 19, Sugar Grove, failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway, losing control of his 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force. Police said Onoratti and a passenger, Jeb Isaac Fedorchuk, 19, Warren, were thrown from the vehicle as it rolled into a ditch, striking a tree. Both were transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Police said that thus far in the investigation, it is believed both were under the influence of alcohol and will face appropriate charges as the investigation continues.

Pleasant Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on July 21 at 2:30 p.m. on Pleasant Drive at its intersection with Creekwood Drive. According to police, a 2005 Ford Taurus, drive by Thomas A. Lemmon, Warren, was traveling west on Pleasant Drive and a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo, driven by Diana L. Swanson, 52, Jamestown, N.Y., was stopped in the westbound lane while attempting to turn onto Creekwood Drive. Police said Lemmon failed to observe that the other vehicle was stopped and struck Swanson’s vehicle in the rear, causing it to travel 40 feet. Lemmon’s vehicle stopped at the point of impact. Police said Swanson was transported to Warren General Hospital by Pleasant VFD Ambulance with what police described as moderate injuries. Police said Lemmon was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.

Southwest Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police said they have cited three individuals for their roles in a physical altercation in the area of Hunter School Road on July 17 at 5:30 p.m. Carina Tucker, 23, and Elisha Millard, 24, both of Grand Valley, and Tiffany Charlton, 32, Titusville, have all been charged with harassment after. police said, they entered into a physical altercation by striking, shoving and pulling each other’s hair. Police said charges are pending through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Spring Creek Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between July 7 and July 12 someone went to a camp belonging to a 66-year-old male, Erie, and removed an 18-horsepower, red front-loader from the yard and a small air compressor from the victim’s garage. Sugar Grove Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between July 19 at 10 a.m. and July 20 at 10 a.m. someone broke the rear window of a van belonging to a known 29-year-old male and 31-year-old male, Chandlers Valley, with an unknown object. Damage is estimated at $250. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Big Tree Road, north of Doyle Lane. According to police, an unknown vehicle was traveling north while a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 drive by Thomas M. Osborn, 74, Warren, was traveling south. Police said the unknown vehicle traveled into the oncoming lane, making contact with the left mirror of Osborn’s vehicle. Police said after impact, the unknown vehicle fled the scene traveling north.

Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that between July 11 and July 13 someone entered the Chandlers Valley United Methodist Church through a basement window and then left through the front entrance. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Tidioute

Theft. Tidioute Borough police said that Mike Varono, Church Street, reported that a known female took 19 pills of his prescription of hydrocodone between 8:30 and 9 a.m. on July 22. Police said an investigation is underway.

Cited. Warren City Police said Matthew Hawkins, 35, Warren, was cited for a violation of the open burning ordinance on July 13 after Warren firefighters were dispatched to his address for a fire in the backyard. Police said it was found that he was burning refuse instead of clean-burning wood.

Cited. Warren City Police said John Taylor, 35, Warren, was cited for harassment on July 17 after they responded to report of a domestic dispute.

Cited. Warren City Police said Zachary California, 19, and Jonathan Turfitt, 19, both of Warren, were cited for underage drinking at 11:25 p.m. on July 17 after they observed a vehicle parked in a city park after it had closed.

Cited. Warren City Police said two juvenile males were cited for drivers required to be licensed after it was discovered they had both taken their parents’ vehicles out for a drive without permission.

Disorderly conduct. Pennsylvania State Constables said Karly Sue Sorenson, 28 of 26 Page Hollow Rd., Warren was taken into custody for disorderly conduct with hazardous physical contact, public drunkenness and similar misconduct on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Sorenson was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson.

Probation violation. The Warren County Adult Probation Department and the Conewango Township Police Department said Adam J. Mintzer, 28 of North Warren was taken into custody after a compliance check at his residence found a hunting rifle, ammunition and two switch blae knives in his bedroom. Mintzer was originally placed on probation on the charge of unsworn false authorized written statement after attempting to purchase a firearm last year. He was committed to the Warren County jail pending further court action.

Conewango Twp.

DUI controlled substance. Conewango Township police responded to a hit and run accident at the intersection of Market Street and Warren Commons Drive, North Warren, at 7:59 p.m. June 15. Police said they met with the driver in the Sheetz parking lot. Police said after a brief investigation Constance E. Davis, Buffalo, N.Y., was arrested for DUI. Police said Davis is being charged with one count DUI of a controlled substance, accident involving attended vehicle and several traffic violations. Police said charges have been filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office and that further court action is pending.

Columbus Twp.

Theft. Corry-based state police said an unidentified suspect on a bright orange mountain bike entered Columbus Custom Cuts on Route 957 in Columbus between Monday at 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday at 5:50 a.m. through a locked gate and entered and left the location with a Artic Cat Prowler 650XT. The vehicle is black and lime green in color and anyone with information is encouraged to contact PSP-Corry at 814-663-2043.

Pine Grove Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police said Tyler Jacob Maeder, 18 of Warren was stopped after a traffic violation on Route 957. Maeder was charged with driving under the influence, underage drinking and several other traffic violations through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Southwest Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police said Carina Tucker, 25, Grand Valley and Angela Patterson, 38, Titusville, were charged with harassment after they were involved in a physical altercation at Hunter Road School Monday at 10:40 p.m. Charges were filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Bellefonte

Forgery. Pennsylvania State Constables said Todd E. Putman, 51, of Sabinsville was taken into custody in Bellefonte on a felony arrest warrant on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Putman was remanded to the county jail on $25,000 bond by District Justice Glenn Carlson.

Burglary. Warren-based state police are investigating a forced entry into Hog Wild BBQ Restaurant on Kinzua Rd. that occurred sometime between 8 p.m. on July 17 and 10 a.m. on July 18. McKean County

DUI. Kane-based state police reported that on July 13 at 6:30 a.m. a known 18-year-old female (police did not release her name), James City, was seen by a trooper driving a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee at a high rate of speed up and down West Wind Road in Wetmore Township. The accused had a known juvenile male lying on his stomach on top of the Jeep holding onto the luggage rack bars. The driver was seen driving one handed with a Bud Light beer can in her other hand holding it out the driver’s side window. When police pulled the vehicle over further investigation revealed the diver to be under the influence of alcohol. Police then transported the driver to Kane Community Hospital for blood testing. Charges include DUI, underage drinking and recklessly endangering another person.

Cited. James Frank, 61, of Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness at about 12:30 a.m. Monday, July 7, after City of Warren Police received a report of a suspicious Male on Pennsylvania Avenue West.

Crash. Matthew Marshall, 19, of Warren, was cited for following too closely after a two-car crash Tuesday, July 8, at Conewango and Glade avenues.

Cited. Marlena Hartman, 22, and Renee Hudgons, 19, both of Warren were cited for disorderly conduct at 1 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, after City of Warren Police responded to a report of people wading in the downtown fountain.

Charged. Dakota Hochstine, 18, of Warren, was charged with furnishing butane to minors on Wednesday, July 9, after City of Warren Police responded to a report that children were lighting items on fire in a pavilion at a city park.

Endangerment. Jennifer Haer, 33, of Falconer, N.Y., was charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person after police were called to a report of a child being left in a car for an hour while the temperature outside was 86 degrees, according to police. Haer was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and released on $2,500 bail.

Cited. Devan Reese, 22, of Warren, was cited for public drunkenness at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, after City of Warren Police responded to a report of an unconscious male in front of a convenience store.

Sugar Grove

Harassment. Jeramy M. Card, 38, of Sugar Grove, was cited with harassment after he allegedly shoved a 24-year-old Sugar Grove man into a pole at 10:32 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at the Sugar Grove Fire Hall.

Pine Grove Twp.

Underage. Jeb I. Fedorchuk, 19, of Warren, was cited for purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages after a crash at 12:14 a.m. Friday, July 11, on Peterson Hollow Road in Pine Grove Township. According to police, Fedorchuk was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Watson Twp.

Crash. Lawerence R. McGuigan, 70, of Tidioute, was cited for driving on right side of roadway after a one-vehicle crash at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, on Rout 62 north of Cobham Hill Road. According to police, McGuigan was driving south when his vehicle crossed the northbound lane and struck an embankment. Police said the vehicle continued about 165 along the embankment before re-entering the roadway, then about another mile. Police said McGuigan pulled over in a parking area. He sustained minor injuries and was transported to Warren General Hospital by Tidioute Volunteer Fire Department.

Conewango Twp.

Crash. Conewango Township police said Michael J. Riche, Jr. of Easy Street, Russell was charged with careless driving, driving vehicle at safe speed, roadways laned for traffic, accidents involving damage to unattended property, immediate notice of accident to police department and no proof of insurance after an accident Saturday at 7:21 a.m. on Follett Run Road. According to police, Riche said he swerved to miss a deer while traveling east on Follett Run Road and lost control of his 2004 Ford F-150. He then drove through the yard of a residence on causing damage to the lawn, landscaping and decorative stone then drove across Alpine Way and collided with and damaged two signs before traveling through the yard of another residence on Follett Run Road and hitting a garage, shifting its foundation and damaging its walls, police said. After the vehicle came to a stop, Riche fled the scene on foot and was later picked up by a friend and taken to his residence in Russell, according to police. Police say he consumed alcohol before contacting the police to report the crash.

Theft. Warren-based state police said that Stacey Baker, Grand Valley, reported that between July 4 and July 8 her cell phone was stolen from 1406 Hoover Road and was found in the possession of a male juvenile in Titusville. Police said the investigation continues.

Pine Grove Twp.

Firearm violation. Warren-based state police reported that on March 21 at 8:13 p.m. Michael Wright, 31, Houston, Texas, attempted to purchase an S&W assault style rifle from Tall Tales when he was not permitted to do so. Police said charges of sale or transfer of firearms materially false written statement and unsworn falsification to authorities were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office and a warrant was issued for Wright’s arrest. Anyone with information regarding Wright’s whereabouts is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 8 at 9:20 p.m. on Davey Hill Road, south of Andrews Run Road. Police said a 2000 Buick LeSabre, driven by Brittany N. Hannah, 23, Youngsville, hit a tree that had fallen across the roadway. The impact caused disabling damage to the right front tire. After impact, the vehicle came to rest on the berm of the road. Police said no injuries were reported that Hannah was not cited.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between June 22 at 11:30 a.m. and July 3 at 7:40 p.m. someone broke a clasp with an unknown object and fled the scene on Hermit Springs Lane. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Eldred Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between June 23 and July 1 someone threw several rocks through seven small windows and inside shades at a camp owned by Dale Searls, Meadville. Total damage was estimated at $200. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Glade Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on July 7 at 11:30 p.m. at 108 Holly St. Sarah Allana Munch, 20, Warren, subjected the victim, a known 19-year-old male, Warren, to physical contact while visiting at her residence. Police said harassment charges were filed against Munch at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. on July 3 someone committed a burglary on Front Street. The victim is identified as Dorothy A. Rounds. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pine Grove Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on July 5 at 6:22 p.m. on S. Main Street between Sunset Lane and Wintergreen Hill Lane Douglas Lee Whitmore, 56, Warren, was involved in a crash. Police said Whitmore’s vehicle was traveling north on S. Main Street when it left the roadway on the shoulder, overturned onto its driver side and hit a tree. The vehicle sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash and was towed from the scene. Police said Whitmore fled the scene prior to their arrival, but a short time later he was located on Priest Hollow Road. Police said upon further investigation, it was suspected that Whitmore was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the state police barracks for chemical testing. Breath results determine his BAC to be above the legal limit, police said. Whitmore was charged with three counts of DUI, careless driving and other summary violations through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

DUI arrest. Warren-based state police reported that on July 5 at 8:23 p.m. an unidentified white female, 56, Palmetto, Fla., was arrested for DUI after she was found to be in control of a vehicle parked at a location on Priest Hollow Road.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 3 at 10:45 a.m. on Old Russell Road. A 2000 Ford F-150 driven by Roger L. Spencer, 56, North Tonawanda, N.Y., was southbound on Akeley Road. Police said Spencer lost control of the vehicle, causing it to travel off the roadway onto the grass berm on the west side of the roadway. The vehicle continued for approximately 200 feet at which point the undercarriage struck a ditch causing the vehicle to stop. Police said Spencer, as well as two passengers, all suffered minor injuries in the crash but no EMS transport was needed. Police said Spencer was cited for careless driving.

Mead Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on July 6 at 2:46 a.m. an unidentified 27-year-old male, Sheffield, was stopped by state police at the intersection of Route 6 and Cherry Grove Road after committing several traffic violations. Police said the subject was found to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for DUI.

Pleasant Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between July 2 at 8:30 p.m. and July 3 at 5:45 a.m. someone threw an egg at a vehicle belonging to a known 53-year-old male in the area of Kamp Street. Police said the egg broke the driver’s side rear view mirror and a damage estimate is at $200. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Sheffield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a three-vehicle accident on Route 6 in the area of Second Street on July 2 at 2:20 p.m. A 2005 Jeep Liberty drive by a 17-year-old female, Sheffield, was traveling east on Route 6. A 2003 Subaru Outback drive by Darwin Ottolini, Harrison Valley, Pa., and a 2005 Dodge Caravan drive by Diana Fox, Sheffield, were traveling east on Route 6 but were stopped in the lane of travel waiting for a vehicle to turn left. Police said the juvenile driver of the Jeep Liberty failed to notice the stopped vehicles and hit Ottolini’s vehicle causing it to hit Fox’s vehicle. The 17-year-old juvenile was cited with following too closely and was transported to Warren General Hospital by Sheffield VFD for treatment of minor injuries. Police said other minor injuries were reported but did not require EMS transport.

Clarendon

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between July 6 at 9 p.m. and July 7 at 7 a.m. someone slashed all four tires on a vehicle belonging to Clarence Edward Mott, Clarendon. Total estimated damage is $200. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Crawford County

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on July 3 at 2:45 p.m. on Mount Pleasant Road at its intersection with Route 8 in Bloomfield Township. According to police, a 2014 Subaru Legacy, driven by Richard P. Schirching, 61, Clarence, N.Y., was traveling north on Route 8 when he became distracted and failed to notice traffic slowing down in front of him. Police said Schirching swerved out of the northbound lane, left the roadway and continued north for approximately 50 feet, striking a 2008 Ford Escape drive by Ronda Larson, Warren, which was stopped at the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Road and Route 8. Police said Schirching was cited with driving on roadways laned for traffic. No injuries were reported.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that Kyle Graham, 22, Warren, was cited for a stop sign violation and operating a vehicle without insurance following a traffic accident at Route 6 and Ludlow Street where a bicyclist was struck.

Careless driving. City of Warren police reported that John White Sr., 82, Warren, was cited for careless driving after he struck a parked vehicle on Hickory Street and continued on to his residence failing to report the accident on June 30.

Disorderly conduct. Joseph Morgan, 34, Warren was cited for disorderly conduct on June 30 after police were called to the corner of Lexington Avenue and Oak Street for a report of a male screaming and yelling at 11:53 p.m.

Retail theft. Ashley Wojkiewicz, 19, Warren, was cited for retail theft on July 1 after she attempted to remove merchandise totaling $13.77 from a local retail business.

Arrested. Scott Wagner, 38, Warren, was charged with obstructing administration of law or other governmental functions on July 2 after he became disruptive during his appointment with the Warren County Probation Department. He was placed in the Warren County Jail on a probation detainer.

Public drunkenness. Aaron Houghton, 28, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on July 3 after officers were dispatched to a local convenience store for a disturbance at 12:44 a.m.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that Lisa Casper, 59, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct on July 4 after police responded to her apartment building to a report that she was yelling and screaming in the hallway causing alarm to the other residents.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that E. Maurice Bransford, 56, Warren, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness on July 4 after police responded to a report that an intoxicated male had fallen at a local establishment. While at the Warren General Hospital emergency room, he became aggressive causing the police to be called again.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that Andrew Miles, 48, Warren, was cited for harassment and public drunkenness on July 5 after officers were dispatched to a disturbance at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Laurel Street at 11:43 p.m.

Arrest. On July 8, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from City of Warren Police, arrested Rodney Allen Gage, 25, Warren, on charges of violation of parole. Probation officers learned that Gage had moved from McKean County back to Warren without notifying his probation officer. Gage was located at 12 W. Fourth Ave. and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Gage, who was paroled on the charge of theft by deception, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Warren

Parole violation. On July 2, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from the City of Warren police department, arrested Aloys Alique Vine, 36, Warren, on charges of violation of parole. Upon being advised by Warren City Police that Vine was facing new criminal theft charges, probation officers located and arrested Vine for parole violations associated with the new charge. At the time of the arrest, officers said they found Vine to be in possession of ecstasy and marijuana. Vine, who was originally paroled on the charge of retail theft, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action. City of Warren police officers informed probation officers that their investigation was continuing and additional charges were pending.

Conewango Twp.

Theft from motor vehicle. Conewango Township police reported that on June 3 officers were dispatched to Jacob Lane and Benjamin Lane for a report of theft from vehicles and criminal mischief to automobiles. Several complaints of theft and criminal mischief were reported. Two vehicles were damaged for a total loss of $1,922.41 and items were stolen out of eight vehicles for a total loss of $1,148. Police said eight counts of misdemeanor theft from motor vehicle, two counts of criminal mischief and one count of loitering and prowling at night have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office against Alexander Peterson, 23. Police were assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police Forensic Services Division.

Mead Twp.

Aggravated assault. Warren-based state police reported that between July 5 at 10 p.m. and July 6 at 1 a.m. at 100 Wilderness Park Drive, David Allen Lobdell, 32, Clarendon, and a known 37-year-old female, also of Clarendon, became involved in a verbal disagreement that turned into a physical altercation. Police said the victim sustained significant injuries as a result of the altercation and required medical treatment at Warren General Hospital. Police said Lobdell was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, intimidation of witness/victim, unlawful restraint, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. Police said Lobdell was arraigned on July 6 before District Justice Glenn Carlson and committed to the Warren County Jail on $100,000 bail.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between April 25 and 26 an ATV was stolen on Route 62 in Irvine. Police said the incident was originally reported to them on April 26 when a known 16-year-old male juvenile previously interviewed confessed to the theft. An investigation led to the confession and arrest of a known 15-year-old male. Police said both were allegedly involved in the ATV theft and conspiracy to steal the ATV. Police said both male juveniles have been charged with theft (of motor vehicle), conspiracy to commit theft and criminal mischief. Charges have been filed through the Warren County Juvenile Probation Department.

Conewango Twp.

Possession of marijuana. Conewango Township police reported that on July 5 at 12:30 a.m. Jon Teater, 24, Erie, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers said they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle during a multi-department sobriety check on Market Street. A criminal complaint has been filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Eldred Twp.

Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that on July 4 at 4:47 p.m. Russell Edward Bahneman, 74, Pittsfield, was seen on property owned by the victim, of Andover, Ohio, Eureka Road without permission. Police said it was determined that Bahneman was driving on a suspended license and operating an unregistered vehicle. Police said Bahneman was charged with criminal trespass and several traffic citations.

Theft. Conewango Township Police report that sometime between 10 p.m. on July 3 and 7 a.m. on July 4 someone stole a Pennsylvania license plate, number GTD5893 from a red Ford Escape owned by Everett Carlson of Sugar Grove while the vehicle was legally parked in the west end of the Walmart parking lot. Pittsfield Twp.

Theft. An investigation by Pennsylvania State Police with the assistance of the United Refining Company’s Security Department of an incident that occurred at the Kwik Fill gas station at the intersection of Routes 6 and 27 resulted in the arrest of Tammy M. Fisher, 49, of Corry. Fisher was charged with one count of theft of property lost or mislaid. The charges were filed with District Justice Cindy Lindemuth. The victim’s money was recovered, and further court action is pending.

Sugar Grove

Hit and run. On July 3 at 8:24 p.m., someone backed a 2002 Honda Odyssey across Route 957, Main Street in Sugar Grove and struck the bumper of a 2005 Ford Taurus, which was legally parked on the north side of the road, pushing the Taurus partially onto the sidewalk. The Honda’s driver fled the scene west on 957, without giving proper notice of the accident.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Crash. A Youngsville man received moderate injuries when a tree fell on the vehicle he was driving at about 4:55 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, on Dunns Eddy Road. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Jeffrey A. Pfoutz, 46, was driving north on Dunns Eddy Road approaching National Forge Road, when a tree feel from the west side of the roadway and struck the vehicle in the hood and windshield. The vehicle continued 345 feet after impact. Pfoutz was taken for treatment to Warren General Hospital by Youngsville Volunteer Fire Department ambulance.

Sugar Grove

Counterfeit. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an incident involving counterfeit bills. According to police, two known females purchased items at Kwik Fill in Sugar Grove using three counterfeit $50 bills at 5:55 p.m. Sunday, June 29.

Theft. Police are looking for a suspect in a theft that occurred between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at Kwik Fill in Sugar Grove. According to police, a white woman with long, curly blonde hair, wearing pink pants and a dark shirt, seen driving away in a silver car, is sought for questioning after a 23-year-old Warren man said the woman stole his wallet and cash after he laid them down and walked away. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Clarendon

DUI. Kenneth Arden Littlefield IV, 23, of Sheffield, was arrested on DUI charges after a crash at 2:02 a.m. Sunday, June 29, at Brown Avenue and Center Street in Clarendon. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Littlefield reached for his cell phone to answer a call and became distracted to the point that his vehicle crossed the opposing lane of traffic and struck a utility pole. Police said the pole was sheared in two pieces, and Littlefield’s vehicle continued moving until it struck a legally parked vehicle. Police said Littlefield was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and taken to the Warren barracks for testing, where, according to police, a breath test showed him to be over the legal limit. Littlefield was charged through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office with three counts of DUI; careless driving; and other summary offenses.

Charged. Warren City Police charged Rachel Lundberg, 27, Spring Creek, with DUI, DUI .16 percent or higher, drivers required to be licensed and lighting requirements following a traffic stop at 4:39 a.m. on June 13.

Cited. Warren City Police said Jason Constable, 41, Warren, was cited for harassment on June 16 following a physical domestic at his residence.

Charged. Warren City Police charged Tejay Shick, 42, Warren, with simple assault and endangering the welfare of children on June 21 after officers responded to a physical domestic.

Charged. Warren City Police charged Amy Thompson, 37, Warren, with false identification to law enforcement, public drunkenness and harassment and Brady Williams, 31, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police responded to a local establishment for a verbal altercation that was escalating at 1:46 a.m. June 22.

Charged. Warren City Police charged Steven Gaddy, 32, Warren, with retail theft after police were called to a local business after Gaddy left the store without paying for $49.45 worth of merchandise on June 23.

Charged. Warren City Police charged Katelin Kuzminski, 20, Warren, with endangering the welfare of children after it was reported that two small children in only diapers were outside unsupervised in the rain on June 25. Police said it was found that they had crossed a street and traveled about a block away from their residence.

Charged. Warren City Police charged Stephen Breon, 28, Grand Valley, with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 2:03 a.m. on June 26.

Pittsfield Twp.

Fatal accident. Warren-based state police said Larry Charles Ross, 57, Oil City was driving a 2014 Kenworth tractor-trailer westbound on Route 27, approximately 1.8 miles west of Route 6, at approximately 2:55 p.m.. Monday when a tree fell from the north edge of the roadway and struck the cab of the truck. Police said the truck traveled an additional 253 feet before stopping in the eastbound lane. Police said Ross was pronounced dead at the scene by Warren County Coroner Jerry Borden. The truck sustained major damage and was towed from the scene.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between June 18 and 25 someone removed a blue Campbell/Hansfeld 20-gallon air compressor and a Pittsburgh brand floor jack from the Lindell Hatch Patch property on Hatch Run Road.
