Harassment. Warren-based state police said on March 28 at 8:20 am. at Warren Area High School a verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation. Police said a 15-year-old male struck a 17-year-old male in the face with his fist. Police said the 15-year-old then pushed the 17-year-old over a classroom desk and punched him additional times in the face. Police said the 15-year-old was cited with harassment.

Charged. Tidioute Borough Police said Margaret Reese, 23, Endeavor, was charged with issuing a bad check to Polly’s Market for $24.55 on Oct. 6, 2013 after several attempts to have her make the check good failed.

Charged. Tidioute Borough Police said Kasey Butler, 31, Tidioute, was charged with issuing a bad check to Polly’s Market on Oct. 14, 2013 for $36.07 after attempts to have her make the check good failed.

Charged. Tidioute Borough Police said Charles A. Stewart, 31, Kerney Hill Road, was charged with issuing a bad check to Polly’s Market for $44.92 on Sept. 9, 2013 and after several attempts to have him make the check good failed.

Youngsville

Possession of drug paraphernalia. Youngsville Borough Police said a 13-year-old male student brought drug paraphernalia to Youngsville Elementary Middle School on March 19. Police said a marijuana pipe was found with a small amount of marijuana in it. Charges are being filed with Juvenile Probation.

Cited. Warren City Police said Tony Steinman, 48, Warren, was cited for harassment following an incident on March 15 where he threatened to physically harm another person.

Charged. Warren City Police said Theresa Moore, 47, Warren, was charged with DUI, DUI .16% or higher, driving on roadways laned for traffic and turning movements and required signals following a traffic stop on March 21.

Charged. Warren City Police said Joshawa Rogers, 29, Warren, was charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute on March 21. Police said he was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Cited. Warren City Police said Michael Kostyack, 72, Sheffield, was cited for retail theft on March 21 after he attempted to leave a local grocery store without paying for $3.35 worth of merchandise.

Cited. Warren City Police said Jacob Cramer, 24, Belle Vernon, Pa., was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property, immediate notice of accident to police, careless driving and driving on roadways laned for traffic following a hit and run accident on March 23 in the area of 1060 Pennsylvania Ave. W., where a telephone pole was stuck.

Cited. Warren City Police said Nickolas Nelson, 25, Warren, was cited for careless driving on March 23 following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Jackson and Conewango avenues on March 23.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police report on March 24 at 3 p.m., Charles Crissman 25, and Erin Patz, 28, both of Brokenstraw Township, entered into a verbal argument which escalated into a physical confrontation when Crissman shoved Patz in the chest and grabbed his arm. Police said Crissman was charged with harassment through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Charged. Warren-based state police reported that on Feb. 17 William Adolph Streit, 50, Sheffield, did not report a change as required by his registration under Megan’s Law. He was charged with failure to comply. On March 18, Streit was arraigned in front of District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth and bail was set at $50,000. Streit was committed to Warren County Jail.

Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on March 22 at 1:20 p.m., Jody Baran, 32, Youngsville, was traveling east on Route 27, south of Telick Road, when he passed a vehicle and struck the right rear bumper of the vehicle in front of him with the front left bumper of his 2003 Ford Explorer. Police said Baran received moderate injuries and his passengers, Erica Peterson, 33, Youngsville, and a three-year-old male, received minor injuries. Jason Miniaci, 36, Youngsville, was driving a 2013 Jeep Wrangler when it was struck by Baran. Miniaci received minor injuries. Police said everyone involved was wearing safety belts. Police said Baran was charged with overtaking vehicle on the left.

Glade Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police report on March 20 at 9:15 a.m. Joshua Wilson, 18, Warren, punched a 17-year-old Warren male three times while at Warren Area High School. Police said Wilson was cited for summary harassment before District Justice Laura Bauer.

Limestone Twp.

Corruption of minors. Warren-based state police report on Feb. 17 at 9:49 p.m. Hunter Proctor, 19, Youngsville, sent a nude picture of himself via “Snapchat” to eight juvenile females. Police said after further investigation, with Proctor being fully cooperative, he was taken into custody on March 22 and charged with eight counts of each of the following: third degree felony, corruption of minors; third degree felony, unlawful contact with a minor; first degree misdeameanor, indecent exposure; and first degree misdeameanor, open lewdness. Police said Proctor was arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer and committed to the Warren County Prison on $5,000 bail.

Pleasant Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police report on March 21 at 6:30 p.m. Samuel Johnson, 27, Youngsville, was found to be passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle stopped at the corner of Route 62 and Gunderville Road. Police said the vehicle was running and the car was in Drive with the operator’s foot on the brake. Police said they found him to be under the influence of alcohol. Johnson was arrested for DUI and taken to Warren General Hospital for a blood test, and police said Johnson’s blood alcohol content test can back six times the legal limit. He was admitted to the hospital for observation. Police said Johnson is on probation in Warren County and when he was medically cleared, he was transported to the Warren County Jail by probation officers for violating his probation. Police said charges of DUI will be file against Johnson.

Youngsville

Hit-and-run crash. Warren-based state police report on March 23 at 12:05 p.m. Nadine Jewell, 44, Russell, was stopped at a red light on Route 6 near Old Pittsfield Road when the vehicle she was operating was rear-ended by a vehicle operated by Shawn O’Grady, 27, Warren. According to police, both drivers pulled over to exchange information when O’Grady failed to exchange information and fled the scene. A witness to the crash provided state troopers with a description of the vehicle and driver, who was immediately located. Police said O’Grady is facing several traffic violations before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. Conewango Township Police report investigating an incident of retail theft which occurred on March 21, at approximately 2:47 p.m., at Walmart. According to police, Walmart Loss Prevention witnessed Brandon Albaugh, 1070 Weiler Rd., take a pair of Berkley polarized sunglasses with a value of $20.63 from the Walmart store without paying for them. Albaugh was charged with retail theft.

Columbus Twp.

Crash. Corry-based state police report investigating a crash which occurred on March 20, at approximately 7:18 a.m., on Rt. 426. According to police, Antony Shirey, 45, Corry, was traveling east on Rt. 426 and lost control of his Chrysler Town and Country on the snow and ice covered roadway. Shirey’s vehicle fish-tailed before spinning approximately one full revolution on the roadway. The vehicle then impacted two mail boxes before it traveled into a ditch off the south side of the roadway. The vehicle came to a final stop on its passenger side in a ditch.

Corry Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.

Shirey was charged with violations related to driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Columbus Twp.

Crash. Corry-based state police report investigating a crash which occurred on March 20, at approximately 6:48 a.m., on Rt. 957. According to police, Mya Williamson, 29, Erie, a three year-old and a six year-old passenger were traveling on Rt. 957 when Williamson lost control of the 2011 Chevrolet Impala she was driving while negotiating a right hand curve on the snow and ice covered roadway. Williamson travelled across the oncoming lane of traffic before leaving the south side of the roadway and severing a utility pole with the front passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle came to a rest a short distance away in a ditch.

Williamson and the six year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. Neither was transported for medical attention.

Williamson was charged with violations relating to driving vehicle at safe speed.

The Columbus Volunteer Fire Department and Corry EMS assisted at the scene.

Burning Ban violation. City of Warren police reported that Alton Swanson, 49, Warren, was cited for an open burning ban violation on March 18 after he lit yard debris on fire and caused a small explosion, resulting in a response from the police and fire departments.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that Gretchen Bines, 28, and Jason Bines, 34, both of Warren, were cited for harassment following a past-tense domestic dispute.

DUI. Fletcher Kay, 58, Warren, was charged with two counts of DUI and applicability of traffice laws to pedal cycles follwing a traffic accident on Conewango Avenue, where he struck another moving vehicle while riding his bicycle on March 11.

Conewango Twp.

Underage Possession. On March 16 at 12:22 a.m., Conewango Township Police cited Ashley Evans, 20, of Youngsville, who was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. According to police, Evans was found in possession of alcohol and is under the age of 21. A summary non-traffic citation has been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. Warren County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

Possession of Marijuana. On March 16 at 12:22 a.m., Conewango Township Police arrested Collin Cataflu, 19, of Warren, who was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. According to police, Cataflu was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana. A criminal complaint has been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. Warren County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

Defiant trespass. Warren City Police said Samantha Stroup, 30, Sugar Grove, was cited for defiant trespass and disorderly conduct on March 11 following an investigation.

Charged. Warren City Police said they charged Cierra Stiteler, 21, Warren, with hindering apprehension/prosecution harbor or conceal, endangering the welfare of children and a red-light violation on March 14 following a traffic stop and the warrant arrest of Dillon Gray, who was charged with violation of a PFA.

Pittsfield Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on March 14 at 10 p.m. on US 6 east of Malibu Lane Randall Scott Sauers, 47, Irvine, was stopped for a traffic violation and was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the stop. Sauers was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI and transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing and then to the Warren state police barracks for processing. Charges against Sauers include two counts of DUI, careless driving, restriction on alcoholic beverages and other summary violations. Charges will be filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office in Youngsville.

Pleasant Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on March 16 at 3 a.m. on Main Ave. north of Pleasant Dr. A 2007 Toyota Tacoma driven by Jason T. Osborne, 38, Warren, was traveling south on Main St. Osborne lost control of the vehicle, which traveled off the west side of the roadway and down a slight embankment. The front of the vehicle then impacted a utility pole. The vehicle came to rest at the point of impact. Police reported that Osborne was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was charged with DUI. A release from the state police indicates that Osborne was also charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Youngsville

Correction. In an “On The Record” item published in the Mondy edition of the Times Observer, Youngsville Police inadvertently reported that Travis VanHouten had been charged with harassment by communication and indecent exposure. Police clarified on Tuesday that the name of the accused is Thomas VanHouten, 20, Pittsfield.

Corry-based state police report on March 15 at 1:34 p.m., an unnamed driver was traveling east on Rt. 957 near Panama Rd. delivering mail when the vehicle she was driving was struck by another vehicle forcing it over a mailbox and into a ditch. Neither driver was injured. The driver of the second vehicle was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. Conewango Township Police report a ton of industrial steel shelving was stolen from an Owens Rd. property over the Feb. 22 weekend. On Feb. 24, Jamestown, N.Y., Police arrested Justin Justice, 18 of Warren and an unnamed 17-year-old male for possession of stolen steel at Weitsman’s recycling center in Jamestown. Further investigation lead to the identification of Steven Flick, 21, and Brendon Garrett, 19, both of Warren, along with two related thefts of scrap steel from WAHS Career Center. Justice and the 17-year-old male were charged with trespass and theft at the WAHS Career Center on two occasions and another theft, loitering, prowling at night, and trespass at Owens Rd. Flick and Garrett were charged with theft, loitering, prowling at night and trespass for the same Owens Rd. incident. The total value of the steel from both locations is estimated at $590.

Pine Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police said on March 12, at 6:08 p.m. a vehicle operated by Kari Holcomb, 25, Warren was following another operated by Lori Watson, 43, Jamestown, NY, traveling south on SR-62 near the intersection with Akeley Rd.. Watson was slowing down for a flagman detouring traffic onto Akeley Rd. Holcomb failed to slow her Honda CRV, causing her vehicle to strike the rear of Watson’s Ford Explorer Sport. Police said both vehicles were driven from the scene. Holcomb was charged in the accident.

Tidioute

Burglary. Tidioute Police Department said on March 14, someone entered the home of Ted Sudul, 189 Main St., between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and removed a container of change which had more than $300 in coins. Anyone that may have seen who may have entered the house are asked to contact the police.

Youngsville

Harassment. Travis VanHouten, 20, Pittsfield, has been charged by Youngsville Police for harassment and indecent exposure. Police said that on Jan. 6 VanHouten sent a naked photograph of himself to a 16-year-old female on Facebook. Charges have been filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Prostitution. Dana Alan Holden, 50, of Tiona was placed in the McKean County Jail after being arraigned Thursday night before District Magistrate William Todd on prostitution allegations, after an investigation by McKean County Detective Scott Nelson. He was charged with two counts of promoting prostitution by encouraging someone to become a prostitute, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility, third degree felonies; and three misdemeanor counts of patronizing prostitutes according to court records.

Hit and run. Conewango Township Police report on March 5 at 9:30 a.m., a white pick-up truck, of unknown make and model, struck the rear of a silver Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Route3 6 and Preston Road. Police said they are looking to make contact with the driver of the white pick-up to exchange information. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police at 726-0725.

Mead Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report between March 6 and 9 someone removed a 2008 Honda Ricon PRX 680 FA ATV, camo in color, from a private residence in Clarendon.

Pleasant Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on March 13 at 6:44 a.m. James Dickerson, 57, of Warren was traveling east on Pleasant Drive when his vehicle slid on the snow- and ice-covered road and lost control. Police said the vehicle began to spin and stuck a road sign and utility pole. There were no reported injuries. Police said Dickerson was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Spring Creek

Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on March 13 at 8:04 a.m. Tegan Christensen, 18, of Corry was traveling north on Picidilly Hill Road, north of Jinks Road, when the vehicle he was driving dropped off the eastern shoulder of the road. As the driver attempted to correct, the vehicle spun clockwise, struck the embankment, and rolled onto its roof. No injuries were reported. Police said Christensen was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Crash. Warren-based state police said on March 7 at 3:40 p.m. an unknown driver was traveling west on Hatch Run Road and struck Jolene Ferrie, 45, Warren, as she was walking along the road. Police said the unknown driver turned around and spoke with Ferrie, but they did not exchange information at that time. Police said Ferrie later went to the hospital with apparent minor injury to her arm. The vehicle is described as a gray two-door sedan with damage to the passenger side mirror. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police.

Triumph Twp.

Simple assault. Warren-based state police said on March 10 at 9 pm. a known 39-year-old male got into a verbal altercation in the area of Fagundus Lane, which turned physical when a known female, 36, began hitting the male. The male then grabbed the female by the neck and pinned her against the wall. The known male then punched the known female in the mouth; she suffered several red abrasions on the right side of her neck and a small laceration to her bottom lip. Police said the male was taken into custody and arraigned in front of District Justice Glenn Carlson for charges of simple assault and harassment, then released on $25,000 bail and ordered to have no contact with the female. Charges are pending against the female for harassment with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Possession. City of Warren police charged Tyler Humes, 21, Warren, with possession of drug paraphernalia on March 4 following an investigation.

Crash. City of Warren police charged Sara Schwartztrauber, 21, Altoona, with accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, careless driving and duty to give information following a hit and run accident on Franklin Street on March 5.

Public drunkenness. City of Warren police cited Brian Ecklund, 36, Warren, for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct on March 4 after police received a report of an intoxicated male harassing a group of people.

Public drunkenness. City of Warren police cited Fletcher Kay, 58, Warren, for public drunkenness on March 7 when officers responded to report that a man had fallen while pushing a bicycle.

DUI. City of Warren police charged Daniel Haskins, 26, Warren with DUI (BAC +.16), DUI second offense and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked following a traffic stop on March 8.

Crash. City of Warren police cited Andrew Covac, 47, Ridgway, for driving on roadways laned for traffic following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Schantz Street on March 8.

Felony arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Joseph S. Slack, 23, Warren, at noon on Tuesday on a felony arrest warrant issued on a charge of theft by unlawful taking. Slack was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Harassment/domestic violence. Warren-based state police said a known victim, 26, Youngsville, and Christopher M. Walton, 32, Youngsville, were engaged in a verbal argument at 11:55 a.m. March 7 which escalated to physical contact. Police said Walton allegedly pushed the victim down. Police said Walton was cited with harassment through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Farmington Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police said Ashley Mountain, 23, was cited for harassment following an incident at 6:30 a.m. March 6 at a Jackson Run Road location. According to police Mountain pulled on the shirt of a 25-year-old male, causing it to rip. Police said charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Freehold Twp.

Theft. Corry-based state police said between 9:30 p.m. March 6 and 5:45 p.m. March 7 someone broke the lock hasp on a vending machine located at Rustic Log Cabin, Route 6, then opened the machine and removed the money. Police said the machine is owned by Pepsi Bottling of Jamestown, N.Y. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Corry.

Pine Grove Twp.

Accident. Warren-based state police cited Regina Sherman, 33, Russell, for windshield obstructed by frost and/or ice following an accident on Pine Street at 8:20 a.m. March 6. According to police, Dawn Whitten, 48, Russell, got out of her 2013 Ford Focus to place a garbage bag along to the road for pickup. Police said Whitten’s vehicle was struck by Sherman’s southbound 2007 Ford Focus, and Whitten’s vehicle then struck Whitten. Police said Whitten declined medical attention. Police said Sherman and her four-year-old male passenger were wearing seatbelts and were not injured. Russell volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

Pittsfield Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police said on March 6 between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. someone damaged a garage man door and door jamb with a blunt object at the residence of Charles Dunkel Jr. 74, Miles Run Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Crash. Warren-based state police said on March 7 at 6:25 p.m. the operator of an unknown, westbound vehicle was making a left turn onto Ross Street from Route 6. Police said the vehicle failed to swing wide enough while making the turn, subsequently striking a business sign and stop sign located on the left edge of Ross Street. Police said the vehicle then fled the scene southbound on Ross Street prior to making a right-hand turn onto Route 27. Police said witnesses at the scene described the vehicle as a yellow tractor with a box-style Akal Express trailer, bearing possible Oklahoma registration. Police said the driver faces charges including turning violations.

Sugar Grove

Attempted robbery. Personnel at Town and Country, Main Street, reported to Warren-based state police that a man walked into the store at approximately 4:50 p.m. Sunday and demanded money from the cashier. Police said he left the store at approximately 5:10 p.m. without receiving any cash and was seen leaving the area in a blue Chevrolet. Police said the suspect is a white male in his 30s with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hoodie and cap. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Race Street at 1 p.m. March 6. According to police, a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by John Johnson, 64, Youngsville, was stopped at a stop sign on Race Street waiting to turn south onto Jackson Run Road. Police said a 2008 Toyota Camry operated by Carol Blose, 70, Jamestown, N.Y., came up behind and struck the rear of Johnson’s vehicle. Police said a passenger in Johnson’s vehicle, Caroline Johnson, 64, sustained a minor injury and was transported by personal vehicle to Warren General Hospital for treatment. Police said Blose was cited for following too closely.

Youngsville

Theft. Joseph Carr, 207 E. Main St.,reported to Warren-based state police that $60 was taken from his residence sometime between 12:30 and 5:15 a.m. on March 6.

Cited. Warren-based state police said Jessica Haight was cited for public drunkenness at 2:27 a.m. March 8 after she was seen walking on E. Main Street under the influence of alcohol, attempting to locate her vehicle.

Erie County

Crash. Corry-based state police said on March 8 at 8:01 p.m. Scott Steele, 50, Warren, was traveling east on Route 6 in his 2002 Ford Ranger and lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered roadway. Police said the vehicle traveled across the oncoming lane of travel and off the south side of the roadway. Steele’s vehicle hit a large ditch with its front end which caused the vehicle to rotate counter-clockwise at which point the area near the front passenger side wheel hit a utility pole. The impacts caused severe damage to the vehicle, which came to rest partially off the south side of the roadway. Steele and his passenger, Kira Nudd, 43, Warren, were transported to Corry Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police said Steele was charged with driving on roadways laned. Assisting at the scene were Union City and Elgin volunteer firefighters and EMS.

Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables reporting arresting Raymond L. Shaffer, Jr., 24, Warren, on March 6 at 2:30 p.m. on a bench warrant issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson for a charge of bad checks. Shaffer was taken before Carlson and released after paying fines and costs.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. Conewango Township police reported that loss prevention personnel at Wal-Mart conducted an internal theft investigation into a cashier who had allegedly taken $50 from a register on Feb. 24. Police said after the internal investigation they were contacted and Allison Wightman, 19, Warren, was charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking, a second-degree misdemeanor.

Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables reported arresting Sarah Schwartztrauber, 21, Clarendon, on March 6 at 12:15 p.m. on an arrest warrant issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson for charges including accident involving damage, driving while under suspension, careless driving and failure to render aid. Schwartztrauber was taken before Carlson and released on $25,000 bond.

Sheffield Twp.

Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables reported arresting Angela C. Haas, 41, Sheffield, on March 6 at 10 a.m. on an arrest warrant issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson for a charge of violation of compulsory attendance. Haas was taken before Carlson and released pending further court action.

Youngsville

Assault. On March 1, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Youngsville Borough Police were dispatched to Beacon Light on E. Main St. for an assault on staff. Police report when they arrived, they found a known 16-year-old male to have bitten a staff member’s arm in an altercation. Charges are being filed on the juvenile with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Pittsfield

Probation Violation. On Feb. 28, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Kevin VanHouten, 46, of Pittsfield. Acting on information from the Youngsville Police Department which indicated VanHouten was in possession of a firearm and ammunition and had made threats to harm himself and others, probation officers found VanHouten in possession of ammunition and retrieved additional ammunition from his residence. VanHouten, who was originally placed on Intermediate Punishment following a DUI, was committed tot he Warren County Prison pending further court action.

Watson Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Feb. 27 at 4:46 p.m., Nikolai Briggs, 26, of Kane, was traveling east on Forest Rd. near Pleasant Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered roadway. Police report Briggs was negotiating a left hand curve when the vehicle began to slide, crossing the center lane and exiting the westbound lane before striking a boulder on the side of the road. The driver was not injured in the accident and was cited for driving at a safe speed.

Columbus Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on March 2 at 2:50 a.m., Samuel Wyman, 40, of Corry, was traveling west on Rt. 6 west of Stoney Lonesome Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle, traveled off the north side of the roadway, and struck a snow bank causing the vehicle to over-turn. The vehicle came to rest on it’s roof against a utility pole. Police report the driver fled the scene and will be charged with several traffic violations as a result of the crash.

Freehold Twp.

Crash. Corry-based state police report on March 1 at 3 a.m., an unknown driver fled the scene of an accident on Stillwater Rd. west of Huntley Rd. According to police, a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero was traveling west on Stillwater Rd. when the operator attempted to negotiate a left-hand turn, left the roadway, struck a large stump and several smaller trees, rendering the vehicle inoperable. There were no known injuries associated with the crash. An investigation continues.

Glade Twp.

Simple Assault. Warren-based state police report on Feb. 20 at 9 p.m., in the area of Cobham Park Rd, a verbal altercation turned physical when a 44-year-old female sustained a broken thumb and torn rotator cuff. The victim received her injuries after having her hand shut in a door and and being shoved with both hands by a 16-year-old female. A juvenile allegation was filed with the Warren County Probation Department for simple assault/harassment.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Feb. 21 at 6:46 p.m., Skylar Rose-Unger, 28, of Bradford, was traveling east on Rt. 59 when she lost control of her vehicle on the slick road east of Leda Lane. After leaving the roadway, the vehicle struck an embankment and rolled over onto it’s passenger’s side. Police report the driver was not injured and was charged with driving at safe speed.

Pittsfield

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Feb. 28 at 7:45 a.m., a three-vehicle accident occurred at the entrance of Kwik Fill on Rt. 6 just west of Rt. 27. Police report all three vehicles were traveling east on Rt. 6 when George Soltis, 58, of Pittsfield, slowed down for other traffic turning south into Kwik Fill. At this time, Zachary Taylor, 24, of Pittsfield, and Melissa Carter, 43, of Bear Lake, failed to observe traffic slowing down. Taylor struck the rear of Soltis’ vehicle and Carter struck the rear of the Taylor’s vehicle. Taylor’s vehicle received severe front-end damage and was removed from the scene. Police cited Carter and Taylor with following too closely. No injuries were reported.

Sugar Grove

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Feb. 23 at 12:46 a.m., and unknown driver and their passenger, Kimberly Degolier, 29, of Jamestown, were traveling north on Jamestown St. south of Stoddard Rd. when their vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a guide rail. According to the police report, the vehicle continued north, crossed the center line and struck a mailbox, some shrubbery and an embankment before coming to rest. Both the driver and Degolier fled the scene without reporting. An investigation continues.

Lost & Found. Warren-based state police report on Feb. 21 at 10:30 p.m., an Oregon motorcycle registration plate was recovered form Rt. 69 west of Rocky Mountain Lane. If missing this item, contact the Warren-based state police for further information.

Aggravated assault. City of Warren police reported that Jeremy Paden 33, Pittsfield, was charged with aggravated assault after he assaulted several people during an incident on Feb. 13.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that Robert Thomas, 27, Warren, was cited for harassment on Feb. 17 after officers received a report of a past tense of domestic dispute.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that Rocky Denny, Jr., 33, Warren, was charged with DUI, DUI (BAC +.16 or higher) an careless driving after officers received a report of a careless driver on Feb. 13.

DUI crash. City of Warren police reported that Jarred Danielson, 22, Pittsfield, was charged with DUI, DUI accident with damage, DUI highest rate of alcohol, careless driving and registration and certificate of title required on Feb. 22 following a one-vehicle traffic accident on Pennsylvania Ave.

Forgery. City of Warren police reported that Dustin Wybiral, 22, Warren, was charged with forgery, access device fraud, identity theft and theft by unlawful taking on Feb. 21 following an investigation by police.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that Earnest Younce, 68, Warren, was cited for harassment on Feb. 10 after officers received a report that he had made threats to physically harm another person.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that Garrett Till, 23, and Shyan Anderson, 19, Warren, were both cited for harassment on Feb. 25 after officers responded to a domestic dispute at their residence.

Possession. City of Warren police reported that a juvenile male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 19 after he was found to have paraphernalia in his possession by his probation officer.

Defiant trespass. City of Warren police reported that Sarah Schwartztrauber, 21, Altoona, was charged with defiant trespass, theft by unlawful taking and possession of a controlled substances on Feb. 13 after officers responded to a trespassing complaint. She was remanded to the Warren County Jail on $10,000 bail.

DUI crash. City of Warren police reported that Courtney Ruhlman, 31, Warren, was charged with DUI, DUI accident with damage, DUI controlled substance, recklessly endangering another person, possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving on Jan. 22 following a one-vehicle accident on Fifth Ave.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that Nicholas VanOrd, 29, Warren, was cited with a left turn violation on Feb. 9 following a two-car accident at Penn. Ave. and Locust St.

DUI crash. City of Warren police reported that Donald Backstrom, 35, Warren, was charged with DUI, DUI (BAC .16 or higher), careless driving and driving on roadways laned for traffic on Feb. 11 following a one-vehicle accident on Jackson Ave.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that Kimberly Genberg, 23, Warren, was cited for a stop sign violation on Feb. 12 following a two-vehicle accident at Fourth Ave. and Beech St.

Tidioute

Aggravated assault. Tidioute Borough police reported that a written allegation for aggravated assault and harassment will be filed with juvenile probation after police were called to the Tidioute Community Charter School at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday after a teacher was struck several times and locked out of her room by a 12-year-old female.
