Conewango Twp.

Hit and Run. Conewango Township Police said on Sept. 29, at the Walmart parking lot, North Warren, an unknown vehicle struck a legally parked 2013 Chrysler 200 car, silver in color, owned by Gary Finlan of Titusville. After striking Finlan’s vehicle, the suspect left the scene. Finlan’s vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side rear bumper as a result of the impact. Farmington Twp.

Theft by Unlawful Taking. Pennsylvania State Police said between July 17-28, a known suspect removed a XBOX game system and accessories from a female victim’s camper at Penn Highlands Campgrounds, Rhine Run Rd., and failed to return it. Total value of the property is $190. Investigation is continuing according to police.

Spring Creek Twp.

Criminal Mischief. Pennsylvania State Police said between Sept 22-26, an unknown person damaged a gate and a padlock owned by Robert Larson, Erie, on Tubbs Rd near Gleason Hollow Rd. Anyone with information can contact PSP Warren.

Sheffield Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report between Sept. 24 and Sept. 27, unknown person(s) stole an unknown amount of steel rod pump jack weights and Jensen triangular shaped steel jack weights valued at approximately $1000 from a Sheffield victim’s oil lease off Austin Hill Rd. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren-based state police or Warren County Crimestoppers.

Warren

Harassment. Warren City Police reported that on September 10 Aaron Anderson, 29, Warren was cited for harassment after officers received a report of a past tense assault.

Public drunkenness. Warren City Police reported that on September 6 Troy Johnson, 49, Warren was cited for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and harassment after officers were dispatched to a fall victim.

Access device fraud. Warren City Police reported that on September 6 Dylan Wineriter, 19, Warren was charged with two counts of access device fraud, identity theft and receiving stolen property following an investigation by police.

Retail theft. Warren City Police reported that on September 23 John Ruby, 21, Warren was cited for retail theft after he removed items valuing in the amount of $2.59 from a local merchant without paying for them.

Missing person. Warren-based state police have provided an update to a report from earlier this week that indicated that John Michael Sheehy, 24, was missing and categorized as endangered. Police said on Thursday that contact was made with Sheehy, who indicated that he was not endangered. Sheehy would not provide his location. Warren-based state police currently have a felony warrant for theft out for his arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police reported that on September 25 at 3:16 p.m. Jason Allen Seybert and Kara Marie Wagner, both of 121 Jackson Run Road, were witnessed by Walmart loss prevention concealing $109.75 worth of merchandise in Wagner’s purse while shopping. Police charged Seybert with misdemeanor retail theft and Wagner was charged with a summary count of retail theft.

Youngsville

Aggravated assault. Youngsville Borough police were called to Youngsville Elementary/Middle School on September 25 at approximately 11:50 a.m. to assist juvenile probation officers detain a 12-year-old female student. Probation officers were called to the school because the female attempted to cut her electronic ankle monitor off with scissors. When officers attempted to restrain the juvenile, she began to resist and fight. She was very violent and aggressive toward the officers by kicking, biting, scratching, spitting and attempting to head-butt. She was taken into custody and transported to the Warren County Juvenile Probation Department. Police said that they are filing felony aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief charges with the probation department.

Theft. Youngsville police are investigating several thefts that occurred over the weekend of September 13 through September 15. Someone allegedly took checks and cash from the payment drop box at the main entrance of the borough building. Police have interviewed a person of interest and have viewed surveillance videos. Disorderly conduct. Youngsville Borough police reported that Robin Johnson, 18, is being charged for misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Police were called to Youngsville High School on September 20 at approximately 11:40 a.m. for Johnson’s physically offensive behavior in school. He was causin3g a disturbance throughout the hallways and nurses office He was asked to calm down several times but refused. He was punching walls and swearing toward staff members and fled the building on foot. Charges were filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Glade Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle crash on Jackson Ave. Ext. on Sept 25 at 2:12 a.m. According to police, Alexxis Hoak, 22, of Warren, was traveling east on Jackson Ave. just outside the city limits when she crossed over the center line and continued into a ditch. Hoak was arrested for DUI and taken to Warren General Hospital for a blood test. No injuries were reported and Hoak was cited for careless driving. The investigation continues.

Mead Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report between Sept. 23 and Sept. 24, someone removed five 70lb. jack weights from an oil well located on Forestry Rte. 441 on Farnsworth Rd. The stolen items are valued at approximately $600 or greater. If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact the Warren-based state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers. An investigation is pending.

Pleasant Twp.

Unauthorized used of a vehicle. Warren-based state police report on Sept. 20 between 9 and 10 p.m., a known 15 year-old male took a victim’s vehicle without consent and proceeded to drive carelessly on Buena Visita Blvd. Police said the crime was witnessed by two of three victims who reported the juvenile exposed himself in public, while urinating in the middle of the road. Both witnesses also report the juvenile approached them on separate occasions and subjected them to indecent contact. An investigation continues.

Youngsville

Harassment. The Youngsville Borough Police Department investigated a harassment that occurred on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12 at the Youngsville Elementary Middle School. It was reported that a known 12 year old male made several sexual comments to a fellow female student. Charges have been filed on the offender with District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Warren

Driving under suspension. On Sept 20 at 2:30 p.m., Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the Penn. State Constables arrested Anthony Ponich, 27, of Warren on a bench warrant issued for two counts of driving under a suspended license. Ponich was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and was released pending further court action.

Parole violation. On Sept. 24, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Jared Hultberg, 24, of Jamestown, N.Y. on charges of parole violation. Hultberg, who was originally placed on parole on the charge of DUI, was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report on Sept. 23 an unknown individual(s) caused damage to a metal fence post on the Irvine Run Substation belonging to Warren Electric Cooperative. Damage is estimated at $1,800.

Conewango Twp.

Crash. Conewango Twp. Police report on Sept. 22 at approx. 11:45 a.m., Caitlyn Cummings, Findlay Lake, was traveling northbound on Market St. and when making a left turn into Warren Commons turned in the path of a vehicle operated by Denise Hensal, of Clover, Pa. who was traveling south on Market St. No injuries were reported. Cummings vehicle was towed from the scene and she was cited for vehicles turning left.

Elk Twp.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident that occurred between Sept. 7 and Sept. 23, when an unknown individual(s) cut a lock on a gate on property owned by Danzer Forestland. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Warren or PA Crimestoppers.

Glade Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident that occurred between Sept. 4 and Sept. 17, when two pair of gold colored earrings, one with diamonds and one topaz, along with two rings were stolen from the Warren residence of Michelle Thomas. Sheffield Twp.

Cruelty to animals. On Sept. 24 at 11 a.m., Pennsylvania State Constables and Sheffield Twp. Police arrested Brittany Breon, 23 of Sheffield, on charges of animal cruelty. Breon was arrested and taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Tidioute Boro.

Harassment. Warren-based state police report on Sept. 23 at 3 a.m., April Hoffman, 30 of Tidioute, struck a 29 year-old Tidioute, male for an unknown reason. Charges of harassment will be filed with District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Elk Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police said between Sept. 22 and 23 someone removed elevator weights (approximately threeinches thick and 20″ by 30″ in size) and approximately five feet of railroad tracks from Martin Hinton’s property, Hilltop Lane and Scandia Road, Russell. The stolen items are valued at more than $200. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Youngsville

DUI/hit and run. Warren-based state police said on Sept. 20, a crash occurred in the parking lot of the Youngsville American Legion when Nathaniel Johnson, 31, Jamestown, N.Y., was backing up at a high rate of speed when his Nissan, Altima struck a utility pole in the middle of the trunk. Johnson then went through the parking lot of the American Legion at a high rate of speed leaving marks in the parking lot. Johnson then left the roadway and struck a flower bed made of railroad ties, he fled the scene before police arrived. Later the damaged vehicle was discovered along the road in the area of Jackson Run Road and Jacob Lane. Police said upon their arrival to the scene Johnson was in the vehicle and subsequently arrested for DUI. Charges for DUI and other traffic violations are pending. Police said Johnson and his passenger, Chad Trojanowski, 23, Sugar Grove, denied having any injuries according to police.

Warren County

Warren-based state police reported a “missing person-endangered” on Monday night. Police said that on Sept. 21 at 1:30 p.m., John Michael Sheehy made contact with his mother via telephone. “Based on the conversation Sheehy had with his mother he has been entered missing-endangered,” a press release from the state police said. Possible areas identified are Warren County, Bedford County, Pittsburgh and Corry. Sheehy’s last known address was Osterburg, Pa. Anyone with information regarding Sheehy’s whereabouts is asked to call 911, their local police department or Warren-based state police.

Columbus Twp.

Theft from motor vehicle. Corry-based state police said between Sept. 18 and 19 someone entered a known victim’s unlocked vehicle at 7 E. Main St., Columbus, and stole her wallet. The victim was informed of this crime by Corry City police when officers returned her wallet, which was turned into their station. The wallet was missing $320 in cash. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Corry.

Conewango Twp.

Charged. Warren-based state police said on Sept 21, at the parking lot of Warren Mall, during the service of a warrant for a probation violation on Travis Lee Stover, 28, Youngsville, in which both Stover and Andrea Lace Stover, 23, Jamestown, had knowledge of the warrant, Travis Stover provided a false identification of Jim Miller. Andrea Stover validated the false identification by identifying Travis Stover as Jim Miller. After further investigation yielded the true identity of Travis Stover, charges were filed on Andrea Stover for hindering apprehension or prosecution by providing false information; and charges were filed on Travis Stover for false ID to law enforcement by providing false ID during an official investigation.

Elk Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police said between Sept.20 and 21 someone caused damage to Helen Lynn’s yard on Cole Bed Road by intentionally driving through it with a vehicle. Damage was set at $50. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Glade Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police said between Sept. 20 and 21 someone caused damage to Myron Nordin’s yard on Wigwam Drive by intentionally driving through it with a vehicle. Mead Twp.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police said between Aug. 30 and Sept. 20, someone removed a 14’x68′ steel mobile home frame, valued at $400, from Huckabone Lane, belonging to Michael Curtis, 40, Tiona.

Youngsville

DUI. Youngsville Borough Police said on Sept. 20, at approximately 12:30 a.m. Lukas Garber, Warren, was arrested for driving under the influence during a Warren County DUI Task Force DUI patrol. Police said Garber was observed travelling at high rates of speed, travelling outside of his lane of travel several times, and almost striking a guide rail on Matthews Run Road. before he was stopped by officers. Police said Garber admitted to have been drinking and after further investigation, it was determined that he was too intoxicated to properly operate a motor vehicle. Charges have been filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Trespass By motor vehicle. Youngsville Boroough Police received a complaint on Friday, Sept. 20, from Katie May, Youngsville, that sometime between midnight and 3 a.m. on Friday someone drove a vehicle with a New York registration through her yard at 16 Highland Ave. causing excessive damage to the landscaping. City of Warren

Warning. The Warren City Police are warning the public of several phone scammers who have been contacting citizens claiming to work for a big name computer company and warning citizens their computer is at risk. Victims have been talked into allowing these people access the their computers in order to fix the problems. Once the subject has access to the computer electronically, they then offer to fix the problems for a fee and demand a credit card number. In one instance, when the victim refused to pay, the subject then disabled the computer.

Harassment. On Sept 16, Warren City Police cited Kristan Seyfang, 24, and Lindsay Seyfang, 25, both of Warren, with harassment after officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute at the their residence.

Warrant. On Sept. 17, Warren City Police took Andrew Bedow, 27, Waterford, into custody on an outstanding warrant from Mercer County.

Warren County

Probation violation. On Sept. 16, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from Warren County Sheriff’s deputies, arrested Kurtis A. Groves, 22, of Irvine on charges of violation of probation. Groves, who originally was placed on probation on the charge of corruption of minors, was arrested by Probation Officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Parole violation. On Sept. 13, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies, arrested Ed Myer, 26, of Sheffield on charges of violation of parole. Myer, who originally was placed on parole on the charge of possession of paraphernalia, was arrested by Probation Officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Probation violation. On Sept. 13, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from Agents from the PA State Parole, arrested Shannon Wolfe Sr., 56, of Warren on charges of violation of probation. Wolfe, who originally was placed on probation on the charge of indecent assault, was arrested by Probation Officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Parole violation. On Sept. 11, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from Warren City Police, arrested David Brewer, 50, of Warren on charges of violation of parole. Brewer, who originally was placed on parole on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, was arrested by Probation Officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further Court action.

Parole violation. On Sept. 13, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from a State Parole Agent, arrested Thomas Christeson, 28, of Warren on charges of violation of parole. Christeson, who originally was placed on parole on the charge of terroristic threats, was arrested by Probation Officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Harassment. On Sept. 19, at 10:30 a.m., PA State Constables acted on an arrest warrant and arrested Lamar Keys on charges of harassment with physical contact in Conewango Twp. Keys was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and was released pending further court action.

Clarendon

Criminal Mischief. On Sept. 15, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Warren-based state police were called to a Terrace Haven residence after a small caliber round struck the front of the residence. The home was occupied at the time and no injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren-based state police.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. Conewango Twp. Police report between Sept. 14 and Sept. 16, someone accessed the rear parking lot of Jones Chevrolet in Starbrick and entered a 2002 Chevy Express Cargo Van owned by United Refining Company. According to police, numerous tools, including a Milwaukee Impact Drill and Cordless Drill, and copper wire from the rear of the vehicle were stolen. The total value is in excess of $800. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conewango Twp. Police Dept.

Pine Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police are investigating a three-vehicle accident that occurred on Sept. 18 at 7:30 a.m. on Rt. 62 near the intersection of Timberview Lane. According to police, Melissa Gleason, 28, of Lakewood, NY was traveling south on Rt 62 and attempting to make a right turn onto Timberview Lane. She was followed by Chelsea Stevens, 22, of Jamestown, NY, who was traveling south on Rt 62 behind a vehicle driven by Jennifer Haer, 32, of Falconer, NY. When Gleason attempted to turn, the front of Haer’s vehicle made initial contact with the rear of Steven’s vehicle, causing it to push into the left rear of Gleason’s vehicle. Haer and Steven’s vehicles came to rest along the southbound berm of SR 62 facing south and were towed from the scene. Gleason’s vehicle came to a final rest along the westbound berm of Timberview Lane facing west. Haer and Stevens were were transported to WCA and Warren General Hospitals for treatment of moderate injuries. Russell VFD assisted on scene. Haer was charged with following too closely.

Endangering the welfare of a child. Warren-based state police responded to Warren General Hospital on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. for a report of a 3 year-old female being treated for the ingestion of marijuana. Warren County Children and Youth Services was contacted to assist. The investigation continues.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two vehicle accident on Rt 426 at 12:35 p.m. on Sept. 17. According to police, Victoria Maines, 19, of Youngsville, was traveling east on Rt 426 near the intersection of SR 27, were Nicole Piger, 19, of Pittsfield was stopped at a properly posted stop sign. Piger left from a stopped postion proceeding west on SR 426 when Maines failed to observe a stop sign, continued traveling east and struck the rear of the vehicle driven by Piger. After impact, Piger’s vehicle traveled approx. 18 feet before coming to rest along the south berm facingeast. Maines vehicle came to rest 12 feet from the stop sign in the eastbound lane. Maines was cited for stop signs and yield signs.

Jamestown, NY

Meth Lab Investigation. At approx. 9 a.m. on Sept. 19, officers from the Jamestown Police Dept. were assisting Parole officers from the NY State Parole at 19 Crossman Street when they came across what appeared to be a working methamphetamine lab. Officers secured the area and investigators from the NY State Police (Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team – CCERT) were called in to assist the the investigation and to secure the lab itself. As of 6 p.m. on Sept. 19, officers from the Jamestown Police, and the Jamestown Fire Department were still on scene securing the lab. Investigators are expected to be on scene until early evening on the 19th. Charges are pending further investigation and more details will be released when they become available to the Jamestown Police.

Sheffield

Rape. Warren-based state police said between July 30 and Aug. 6, a known 15-year-old victim reported she was forced to have sexual contact with Kristopher L. Roberts, 18, Bradford. Roberts was charged with Rape (F1), Sexual Assault (F2), Aggravated Indecent Assault (F2), Unlawful Contact with Minor (F3), and Indecent Assault (M1). This incident is still under investigation. According to police, Roberts was committed to Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail on Sept. 18. Further court action is pending.

Statutory Sexual Assault. Warren-based state police said between July 30 and Aug. 6, Kristopher L. Roberts, 18, Bradford, and a known 13-year-old female engaged in a sexual relationship at the residence of the victim. Roberts knew the age of the victim at the time of the sexual contact. Roberts was charged with Statutory Assault (F2), Unlawful Contact with a Minor (F2), Aggravated Indecent Assault (F2), Corruption of Minors (F3) and Indecent Assault (M2). According to police Roberts was committed to Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail on Sept. 18. Further court action is pending.

Warren

Warren City Police reported the following incidents.

Failure to Obey Court Order. Accordining to police, on Aug. 31, Douglas Whitmore, 55, Warren, was charged with contempt for failure to obey a court order after he violated an active protection from abuse order. He was arraigned before magistrate Lindemuth and released on $50,000 bond.

Terroristic Threats/ Harassment. On Sept. 3, Thomas Keeney, 30, Warren, was charged with Terroristic Threats, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct after a report that Keeney made threats to another person. Keeney was turned over to the adult probation and remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Harassment. On Sept. 3, Stacy Knobloch, 41, Warren, was cited for Harassment after a report that she had pushed another person at a local convenience store.

Pedestrian hit. On Sept. 3, Bruce Laughner, 75, Warren, was cited for the right of pedestrians following a traffic accident at Fifth and Market St. where a pedestrian was struck.

Cited. On Sept. 3, Katherine Walton, 47, Warren, was cited for Obedience to Traffic Control Signals following a two-car accident at Hickory Street and Third Street according to police.

Disorderly Conduct. On Sept. 3, Jacqueline Zaner, 25, Warren, was cited for Disorderly Conduct after officers received a call regarding a disruptive female in a local convenience store.

Loitering/Prowling. On Sept. 4, Jared Eisenbrown, 24, Warren, was charged with Loitering and Prowling at night after officers noticed him acting suspiciously in a residential area. Eisenbrown was turned over to probation and remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Furnishing Alcohol to Minors. On Aug. 30, Robert Thomas, 26, Warren, was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors after officers responded to a loud noise complaint. Brittany Blue, 19, Jamestown, was cited for underage drinking in relation to the same incident according to police.

Terroristic Threats. On Aug. 17, Tanner Brink, 20, Aaron Dickerson, 18, and Cody Shrefler, 19, all of Clarendon, were charged with Terroristic Threats with intent to terrorize another, possession of instrument of crime, Disorderly Conduct and Simple Assault after it was reported that a disguised male opened the door to a local establishment and waived a gun around and left, according to police.

Retail Theft. On Sept. 7, Warren City Police cited Brandon Fox, 21, of Warren, with retail theft, after he was witnessed consuming an item in a local grocery store and then left the stoe without paying for the item.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Sept. 16 at 1:55 a.m. on Kinzua Rd. south of Hawg Rd. According to police, the crash occurred as Robert Olewinski, 66 of Johnsonburg, was traveling west on Rt 59 and crossed the center line, striking a trailer being pulled by Merle Smith, 63, of Titusville. After striking the trailer, Olewinski’s vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck an embankment. Olewinski was extricated from the vehicle by mechanical means and transported to Warren Genreal Hospital by ambulance. Police report Smith was not injured in the accident and both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Both units were towed from the scene. Olewinski was found to be under the influence of alcohol and will be charged with DUI and other traffic violations. Police were assisted on the scene by EmergyCare, Clarendon and Glade Fire Departments, and Koebley and Pennmark Towing Companies.

Tidioute

Hit and Run. Tidioute police said sometime between 9:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on Sept 13, an unknown driver in a unknown white vehicle struck a legally parked truck belonging to Randall Knight of St. Stephen, S.C. while it was parked in front of his summer home at 22 First St. doing moderate damage to the driver side door. Conewango Twp.

Harassment. Conewango Township Police said on Aug. 28, Michele Kent, 4626 Follett Run Road, was arrested after she allegedly struck her husband in the face causing a minor laceration. Police said Kent was placed in the Warren County Jail by Warren County Adult Probation. A non-traffic citation has been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s Office. Pennsylvania State Police assisted at the scene.

Theft. Conewango Township Police said on Sept 13, Kayla Macalush reported her wallet was stolen after it was misplaced at the Walmart shopping center. Her wallet is Zebra Print with pink trim and contains identification, cash, and various documents. Anyone with information is asked to please contact township police at 814-726-0725.

Farmington Twp.

Theft. Warren based-police said between Aug. 28 and Sept 10, at 65 Steeler Lane, someone removed three rings with an estimated value of $6,092 from the area of the victim’s bedroom. Anyone having information pertaining to this investigation is asked to contact Warren police or Warren County Crimestoppers.

Pine Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren State Police said Kurtis Groves, 22, was driving west on Priest Hollow Road, Saturday, when, upon entering a right-hand curve, his vehicle continued traveling west off the roadway on the southern shoulder. Groves’ vehicle traveled about 75 feet before striking a tree with its front bumper. According to police Groves fled the scene without reporting the crash.

Pleasant Twp.

Drug paraphernalia. Warren-based state police said John M. Childs, 18, Warren, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Route 62 in Pleasant Township on Thursday, Sept 12. Charges were filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Crash. Warren State Police said on Sept. 12, Kevin L. Burton, 42, Warren, was traveling westbound on Jackson Avenue. Police said Randolph Thomas, 54, Warren, approached a sharp right curve when Burton lost control of his Ford Escort and slid into the path of Thomas’s Chevy Silverado striking it head on. Burton lost control due to a large oil slick from a previously unknown spill. PennDOT responded to the scene to treat the hazardous road condition. Anyone having information as to the origin of the oil spill and subsequent roadway hazard is asked to contact the police.

Harassment. Warren-based state police are investigating a report of harassment filed by a Clarendon woman. According to police, The victim received unwanted phone calls at her residence and place of employment between the hours of 1:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and 4:20 p.m. Sept. 10.

Glade Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report between Aug. 5 and Aug. 9, Skyler MacLees, 23 of Warren, trespassed on the victim’s Front St. property and stole several items which he in turn sold for profit. Total estimated cost of the items stolen is $35. Theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property charges are pending.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report between Sept. 8 and Sept. 12, unknown individual(s) damaged the rear window of a Garland resident’s Subaru Outback. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Warren or Crime Stoppers.

Arrest. On September 11 Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Michael D. Huya, 22, Waren, on an arrest warrant issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson for vehicle violations. Huya was taken before Carlson and released pending further court action.

Harassment. Warren-based state police report citing cited a 28 year-old female for harassment at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 6. According to police, the female reportedly struck a 32 year-old male in the face with a loaf of bread.

Harassment. Warren-based state police report responding to an incident of harassment which occurred at approximately noon on Sept. 8 at the Holly St. Apartments. According to police, Brandon Windham, 20, of Warren threatened Salvatore Garcia. Charges of harassment were filed at District Magistrate Laura Bauer’s office.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of criminal mischief which occurred between 12:01 a.m. on Aug. 2 and 3 p.m. on Aug. 4 at a camp off of Scandia Road. According to police, an unknown actor(s) broke the window of a camp belonging to Todd Meyers of Harrisburg. The window is valued at approximately $200. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact state police.

Burglary. Warren-based state police report investigating a burglary which occurred between 9 a.m. on Sept. 3 and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 4. at a residence located on Wilderness Park. According to police, an unknown individual took prescription medication belonging to a 40-year-old male of Clarendon. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren-based state police.

Sheffield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report investigating a crash which occurred at the intersection of Horton Ave. and South Main Street at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Sept. 7. According to police, Michael R. Jordan, 23, of Sheffield, was operating a 2003 Chevrolet Impala stopped at a stop sign on Horton Avenue. Jordan turned right onto South Main St. and into the path of a 1995 Ford Ranger operated by John F. Stull, 65, of Warren, which was traveling north on South Main Street. The front of the Jordan vehicle struck the passenger side of the Stull vehicle causing it to spin clockwise, eventually coming to rest on the east side of the roadway facing south. Neither driver was injured. Jordan was cited for violations relating to stop signs and period requiring lighting lamps.

Possession of a controlled substance. Tidioute Borough Police report investigating an incident of possession of a controlled substance which occurred on Friday, Sept. 6. According to police, a known, 13-year-old juvenile was found to be in possession of a controlled substance while on a school field trip. A written juvenile allegation will be filed.

Theft. Corry-based police said between Sept. 1-2, an unknown person removed a white, double sided metal 4×8′ “Cornfield 500” advertising sign from its wooden framework valued at approx. $1700.00 at the residence along State Rt 6, belonging to Sabrena Miller, 49, Columbus. The unknown person then fled the scene undetected in an unknown direction by unknown means according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Corry Police.

Harassment. Corry-based police said on Sept. 4, Todd D. Gotchy, 37, Centerville, sent Stacey Jean Root, 27, Columbus several harassing messages that served no legitimate purpose according to police. Charges filed in District Court 37-4-91

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based police said on Aug. 31, 2 people had their vehicles scratched along the length of the driver’s side on North Main Street and Ellison Street, Clarendon, by and unknown person according to police. Anyone with information please contact Warren Police.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based police said between Aug 27 and Sept 3, an unknown person caused damage to a gate on a right way belonging to the Aqua Pennsylvania Water, Clarendon according to police. Damage estimated at $300.00.

Glade Twp.

Crash. Warren State Police said on Sept 3, Travis Johnson, 19, Russell, was traveling North on SR 1019 negotiating a right hand curve. Johnson swerved within its lane of travel spinning 180 degrees clockwise. Johnson left the roadway on the eastern side entering a ditch impacting an embankment with the left rear corner. Johnson traveled along the ditch in a northern direction for approx. 65 feet, coming to a final stop facing Southwest according to police.

Parole Violation. On Aug. 30, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Warren City Police Department, arrested Thomas V. Christeson, 28, of Warren, on a charge of violation of parole. Christeson, who was originally placed on parole on the charge of Terroristic Threats, was taken onto custody by probation officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further Court action.

Parole Violation. On Aug. 30, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Warren City Police Department, arrested Brianna Moore, 22, of Warren, on a charge of violation of probation. Moore, who was originally placed on Intermediate Punishment on the charge of Possession with Intent to Deliver, was taken into custody by probation officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further Court action.

Parole Violation. On Aug. 30, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Conewango Township Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police, arrested Michelle Kent, 44, of Warren, on a charge of violation of probation when officers responded to her residence for a report of a shotgun being discharged. At her residence, Kent was found in an intoxicated state. Kent, who was originally placed on probation on the charge of Disorderly Conduct, was taken into custody by probation officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further Court action.

Corruption of Minors. City of Warren Police charged Ty Christianson, 20, of Warren, with corruption of minors and defiant trespass after police found him at a closed park with an underage juvenile on July 29.

Traffic violation. City of Warren Police cited Walter Simpson, 67, of Warren, with vehicle entering or crossing roadway after a two-vehicle accident at Penna. Ave. and Hickory St. on Aug. 16.

Endangering the welfare of children. City of Warren Police charged Yvonne Wolfe, 26, of Warren with endangering the welfare of children after officers responding to another call found the residence where she was living with 3 minor children to have deplorable living conditions and no electricity on Aug. 15.

Public drunkenness. City of Warren Police cited Tammy Cochrane, 40, of Warren for public drunkenness after officers came across a female walking down the sidewalk in an intoxicated manner of Aug. 18.

Harassment. City of Warren Police cited Matthew Dunn, 20, of Warren, with harassment and purchase of alcohol by a minor after officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. John Ruby, 21, of Warren was charged with furnishing alcohol to a minors in reference to the same incident on Aug. 15.

Harassment. Warren City Police cited Dennis Denardi, 51 of Warren, for harassment after a report was made that he was repeatedly using the garbage can of tenants without their permission on Aug. 15.

Public drunkenness. Warren City Police cited both Kyle Sullivan, 20 and Robert Thomas, 26, both of Warren, with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after two officers were dispatched to subjects fighting in a back yard.

Retail theft. Warren City Police cited Michael Slater, 25, of Warren, after police received a report that a person had consumed items from the bakery without paying for them on Aug. 16.

Simple Assault. City of Warren Police charged Nikita Rugg, 22, of Youngsville, with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct after officers responded to a domestic dispute on Aug. 19.

Theft. City of Warren Police charged Dawn Thompson, 54, of Warren with theft by unlawful taking after she was witnessed taking a bicycle and riding it away from the victim’s residence on Aug. 20.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren Police cited Earnest Young, 67, of Warren, for disorderly conduct after he was seen urinating on a building on Aug. 20.

Traffic violation. City of Warren Police cited Alexxis Hoak, 22, of Warren, for following too closely after a three-car accident at Penna. Ave. and East. St. on Aug. 21.

Criminal trespass. City of Warren Police charged Jamie Watson, 38, of Warren, with criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, and public drunkenness after officers responded to a report that an unknown man had entered a residence uninvited on Aug. 22. He was arraigned an placed in the Warren County Jail on $30,000 bail.

Public drunkenness. City of Warren Police cited Benjamin Atwell, 25 of Warren, for public drunkenness after police were dispatched to a report of a suspicious male on Aug. 24. In a separate incident, Atwell was charged with a violation of a PFA on Aug. 25. He was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on $10,00 bail.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren Police charged Michael Koers, 32 of Russell, with disorderly conduct after officers responded to a report of an unwanted male causing a disturbance on Aug. 25.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren Police cited Andrew Kerr, 19, of Warren, with disorderly conduct after urinating in his backyard in full exposure to all neighbors on Aug. 26.

Simple assault. City of Warren Police charged Brian Boyer, 33, of Warren, with simple assault after officers responded to a domestic dispute on Aug. 28. He was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Traffic violation. City of Warren Police charged Jennifer Sitterson, 32, of Warren, with obedience to a traffic control device following a two car accident at Third and Water St. on Aug. 28.

Simple assault. City of Warren Police charged Andrew Nicholson, 27, of Warren, with simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a domestic dispute on Aug. 30.

Harassment. City of Warren Police cited both James Patrick, 34 and Bobby Smith, 26, both of the Warren County Jail, with harassment following a report of a fight on Aug. 24.

Disorderly Conduct. City of Warren Police cited Mark Sundberg, 28, of Clarendon, with disorderly conduct after a report to police that he had exposed himself in public on Aug. 29.

Suspended license. City of Warren Police cited Mark Seaver, 46, of Warren for driving while suspended and careless driving after officers responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hertzel St. where a parked vehicle had been struck on Aug. 31. Seaver was also taken into custody on a fugitive from justice charge after he was found to have an outstanding warrant from Missouri. He was arraigned before District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth and placed in the Warren County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Traffic violation. City of Warren Police cited Jacob Lewis, 18, of Sugar Grove, for stop signs and yield signs following a two-car accident at Madison and Grant on Sept. 1.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren Police cited William Greenawalt, 35, Tara Nulph, 29, Roman Reuff, 26, and Jacob Way, 29, all of Warren, with disorderly conduct after officers were called to a noise disturbance on Sept. 1.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren Police cited Samuel Bullock, 32, of Sheffield, with disorderly conduct and harassment after officers received a report of a fight in a parking lot on Sept. 1. Joshawa Rogers, 29, of Warren, was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Aggravated assault. City of Warren Police charged Tammy Webster, 48, of Warren with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness after police received a report of a female running into traffic on Sept. 2. She was arraigned before District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth and placed in the Warren County Jail on $15,000 bail.

Clarendon Boro

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Brown Ave. just south of SR 6 on Aug. 31 at 11:17 p.m. According to police, Unit 1 was traveling south on Brown Ave. and the driver was texting on his cell phone when the vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane and struck a legally parked vehicle on the northbound berm. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and denied any injuries. No one was in the parked car at the time of the accident. Unit 1 was towed from the scene and the Operator was cited for Text Based Communication while Operating a Motor Vehicle.

Conewango Twp.

Crash. Conewango Twp. Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Jackson Run Rd. at the entrance to Lowes and the rear entrance to Sheetz on Aug. 28 at 11:58 a.m. According to police, Samuel Prettyman was operating a 1999 Subaru station wagon and was exiting the rear of Sheetz intending to enter the Warren Commons after crossing SR 69. Karen Yourchisin was operating a 2011 Chevy SUV and was traveling north west on SR 69 prior to Prettyman’s location. Police say Prettyman pulled into the path of Yourchisin at which time Yourchisin struck the passengers side rear of the Prettyman vehicle causing it to spin in a clockwise direction and come to rest at he entrance to Warren Commons. Yourchisin’s vehicle continued off the right side of the roadway, struck a curb and came to rest in a drainage ditch. Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Warren General Hospital with complaints of back and neck pain. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Several witnesses advised police that Prettyman pulled into the path of Yourchisin and she was unable to avoid impact. Prettyman was cited with vehicle entering or crossing the roadway. Police were assisted at the scene by N. Warren VFD, NWVFD Fire Police, and Emergycare.

Limestone Twp.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police responded to a residence at the intersection of Kelly Hill and Kelly Lane on Sept. 2 at 2 a.m. According to police, an unknown suspect(s) rutted up the victim’s yard with ATV’s and threw rocks at his vehicle. Damage estimates are not available at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren-based state police.

Sheffield

Harassment. Warren-based state police report on Sept. 2 between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m., Aaron Hall, 23 of Sheffield, subjected a known 21 year-old female to physical contact and threatened her during a domestic dispute. A charge of harassment was filed through District Magistrate Glenn Carlson.

Triumph Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Tidioute Enterprise Rd. near Bear Check Lane on Aug. 31 at 1:45 a.m. According to police, the accident occurred as Garret Rose, 22, of Titusville was traveling west on SR 3022 and lost control when he swerved to miss a bear while going around a curve. The vehicle traveled across the roadway and off the eastbound berm. The undercarriage of the vehicle made initial contact with a concrete culvert and came to rest there, facing west. Rose and his passenger were both wearing seatbelts and neither was injured. Rose was charged by police in the accident.

Watson Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police responded to camp on Heart Content Rd. for a reported burglary that occurred sometime between July 14 and Sept. 1. According to police, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s camp and removed a deer head valued at $300. Any person with information is asked to contact the Warren-based state police.

Public Drunkenness, Defiant Trespasser and Disorderly Conduct. Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies with Assistance from the U.S. Forest Service arrested Christopher Benek, 29, Kane, for defiant trespass, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Benek was observed under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody after he became disorderly. Benek was arraigned before Magisterial Judge Cynthia Lindemuth and incarcerated in the Warren County Prison in lieu if $10,000 bail.

Limestone Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police stopped Mark A Huwalt, 40, Castle Shannon for a traffic violation on Sept. 1, on Route 62, Limestone Twp. Upon contact with Huwalt, it was suspected that he was under the influence of alcohol. Huwalt was taken into custody and submitted to testing according to police. Charges are to be filed at a later date in front of District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth in Youngsville.

DUI. Warren-based state police said on Aug. 31, Kimberly Karpiak-Cook was stopped at the intersection of Kelly Hill Rd. and Red House Hill Rd. for committing several traffic violations. After an investigation it was determined that Karpiak-Cook was under the influence and subsequently arrested for DUI, according to police.

Columbus Twp.

Domestic/Harassment. Corry-based state police said on Sept. 1, on Route 959 in Columbus, a known male suspect subjected a known female to physical contact by unknown means . The incident is still under investigation.

Burglary. Warren-based police said between Aug. 18-19 someone entered the garage owned by Thomas Matuszewski, 29, Grand Valley, and stole items. Police said the items stolen were, Cigarettes, $15, Dewalt circular saw, $150, Dewalt sawzall, $200, Dewalt jigsaw, $150, Craftsman drill, $100, Craftsman impact drill, $100, Craftsman sawzall, $100, Rigid roofing gun, $200.

Mead Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police said on Aug. 30, an unknown male operating a black mountain bike arrived at the home of Jay Baker, 54, Clarendon and stole 1 pack of Sands cigarettes, $4 value, and 10 unknown audio CD’s, $20 value. Police said he was last seen traveling west on SR 6 from the location.

Conewango Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police said on Aug. 27, Alexis Cotton, 23, Mercer, tripped Kimberly Tucker, 42, Oil City, causing her to fall to the floor where Cotton kicked her. Cotton will face a charge of harassment before Magisterial District Judge Bauer.

Clarendon

Burglary. Warren-based state police said between Aug. 23-24, an unknown suspect entered the home of William Lindstrom III, Clarendon, and took a coin collection valued at approx. $2000. Any person with information is asked to call state police at Warren.
