The Warren County YMCA is hosting the annual Senior Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. The Allegheny Community Center has been organizing this event for several years, in collaboration with Experience Inc. (Area Agency on Aging). There will be more than 40 vendors attending including non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses. In years past, as many as 700 seniors have attended this event. Those who need a ride can call the local transit authority. There will also be basket giveaways costing $5 for 10 tickets, prizes and giveaways.
Outdoor Club To Hike Sunday Along North Country Trail On Sunday, Nov. 7, members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike out and back on the North Country Trail along Cherry Run. The woodland hike starts somewhat level along the creek and then ascends.
