LOTTSVILLE – The 20th annual Lottsville Heritage Day will be on Saturday at the Freehold Township Grounds in Lottsville.
Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. and end around 3 p.m. Those attending early can purchase coffee and an Amish donut. Other Amish baked goods will also be available for purchase.
Vendors will be set up by 10 a.m. The Freehold Heritage Room will be open that features historical pictures and artifacts of Lottsville and Wrightsville. There will also be a display of American books and magazines from the 1900s. This is a collection which belonged to James Keppel who passed away in 2025 at the age of 97. He was a resident of Lottsville for most of his adult life.
A chicken barbeque will begin at 11:30 a.m. The chicken will be prepared by the Lander Volunteer Fire Department. Cost is $15 and includes chicken, salad, applesauce and bottled water. Other food will also be available.
A live auction will begin at 1 p.m. with Candy Chase-Ransom as the auctioneer. Items include new items, craft items, pies and other baked goods, gift baskets, mums, gift cards and many other items.
Lottsville was founded in 1815 by Harmones Lott and five of his nine children.
