Class of 1969 to celebrate 75th birthdays
Members of the Youngsville High School Class of 1969 will gather Saturday, Oct. 3, for a 75th birthday celebration at Brokenstraw Valley Winery in Youngsville, Pa.
The party will run from 2 to 7 p.m. and is open to classmates and their partners. The celebration will feature pizza, wings and cupcakes, along with a cash bar. More than 50 classmates and guests have already confirmed their attendance.

Outdoor club to ride, hike in Oil Creek State Park Sunday
Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes or hike in Oil Creek State Park on Sunday. The group will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. at Petroleum Center in Plumer. Those driving themselves must follow the Route 227 detour signs for Petroleum Center Road. Greg Burkett is the leader for the activity.
Emanuel UCC to host rummage sale starting today
The Emanuel United Church of Christ is having a three-day fall sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Sept. 17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 19, with a Saturday bag sale. The church is located at 1710 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren.
