Caregivers Support Group to meet Thursday
The Caregivers’ Support Group-Warren will meet Thursday, Sept. 3, at 6 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. Those attending should enter the building via the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance and proceed to the Winger Room.. Meetings are a time of confidential discussion and sharing of concerns from caregivers. All caregivers and those interested in learning about Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia-related disorders are welcome to attend. A lending library of related topics is available and includes pamphlets from the Alzheimer’s Association. The support group is open to the public. Additionally, information will be available regarding the Warren Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease to be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Betts Park. There is still time for teams and individual participants to sign up, as well as those wishing to volunteer at the walk.
