Outdoor Club event Sunday
On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes or hike from Hydetown to Centerville. The group will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1 p.m. then travel to Hydetown near Titusville. Greg Burkett is the leader for this activity.
Historian offers info on name
BUSTI -- Local historian John Everett Jones will speak this Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Busti Historical Society about the Polish and Italian connections to the Holland Land Company and how Busti got its name. All are invited to come learn how Western New York was settled and the man Busti is named after. The talk will be in the outdoor pavilion. Please bring a chair and your questions. Free parking and admission. The event will be held rain or shine.
