Community Foundation receives May, June contributions
The Community Foundation of Warren County received $13,835 in contributions from donors in June to the following funds held by the Community Foundation:

– Debra Anderson Furry Friends Fund – Debra Anderson.
– Kids in Need Fund – Jan Kennerknecht, Blackhawk Neff, Deiss & Halmi Engineering Inc., Schultz of Warren, Whirley, InScale PC, Tidioute Community Charter School, Johnsons Tire Service Inc.

The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors approved grants totaling $215,803 in July to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents: A Safe Place, Allegheny Valley Veterans Center, Association for Recovery of Children, Audubon Community Nature Center, Barber National – Warren Campus, BSA Chief Cornplanter Council, Caring For Life, CASA, Children’s Advocacy Center, Crary Art Gallery, Doctors Without Borders, Don Mills Achievement Center, Eisenhower Marching Band – DC Trip, Experience Inc, – Area Agency on Aging, Family Services of Warren County, First Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, Free Books For Kids Towne, Girl Scouts of Western PA, Grace United Methodist Church, House of Hope, Hospice of Warren County, Jefferson DeFrees Family Center, K-9 Fund, Kinzua Youth Development Center, Kids In Need Fund, North County Mission of hope, Paws Along the River, Robert H. Jackson Center – Living Voices Program, Ruth M. The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors also approved Non-traditional Workforce Development Scholarships totaling $15,000 in July from the Richard McKissock Scholarship Fund, the Susan Mong Scholarship Fund, and the Community Foundation Non-Traditional Scholarship Program. The Warren County residents awarded these scholarships are pursuing degrees, training or certifications for Nursing, Education and the trades to further their careers and employability here in Warren County.

The foundation board approved grants totaling $15,104 in June to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents: Eisenhower Bandtastic Boosters for the 2026 Eisenhower High School Marching Band trip to Washington, D.C., Warren County District Attorney’s Office / K-9 Fund for K-9 insurance and K-9 unit upgrades and repairs, Warren County School District / Kids In Need Fund for clothing and hygiene products, Warren Players Club for lighting and sound equipment.
