Two make Bucknell dean’s list

Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year. Two Warren residents were on the list: Grace Carr, 2029, chemistry; and Ella Ordiway, 2027, English – Literary Studies.

Club heading to Sandy Creek Trail

On Sunday, June 14 Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes or hike on the Sandy Creek Trail. Meet at the car wash on Route 6 in Youngsville at 1:30 p.m. The group will then travel to the Sheetz in Cranberry, 7119 US 322 Cranberry by 2:30 and then travel to the trailhead in Van, PA. The Sandy Creek trail is shaded with a total of 24 miles one way but is an out and back, so ride or walk as far as you want. Remember lights so you can see in any tunnels. Pat Spicer is the leader of this ride.

Jazz event set for Saturday

Free live jazz will be at Pellegrino’s Creekside Pavilion at the Cathedral of Rock this Saturday at 7 p.m. It will feature Jazz Crossing.

This is a free admission, all-ages event at 449 Conewango Ave., Warren. Food and beverages will be available, and the venue includes a covered pavilion and stage.
