Warren Zonta Club welcomes community members
Across the globe, Zonta International works to create a world where women’s rights are
recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential.
The Warren Zonta Club is proud to be part of Zonta International, a leading global organization of professionals working together to build a better world for women and girls through service, advocacy, and education. Proud to be one of the longest continuously existing Zonta clubs, Warren is celebrating 98 years of service to the community and beyond. Throughout nearly a century of dedication, the club has supported countless local projects, scholarships, fundraising efforts, and programs that benefit women, children, and families throughout the region.
Founded in 1919, Zonta International has members in countries around the world
who are dedicated to empowering women, ending violence against women, supporting educational opportunities, and improving health and equality initiatives. The Warren Zonta Club continues this mission locally through volunteer service, advocacy, and community partnerships.
It welcomes new members who are interested in community service, leadership, and making a positive impact both locally and globally.
In joining this very active club, a certain level of commitment is expected as they rely on their members to do their best to participate in at least one monthly meeting every month, attend the fundraising events, participate in the annual Lucky Numbers Luncheon, serve on a committee, participate in hands-on service projects and spread the word about the Zonta Club of Warren.
The club meets regularly at the Jefferson Defrees Family Center on the second Thursday of each month at 5 p.m.
Guests and prospective members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the organization’s mission and community involvement. For more information about the Warren Zonta Club visit their Facebook page or website: www.zontawarren.org or by emailing zontawarren@gmail.com
