Sheffield children enjoying the annual fireworks display. For over 60 years, the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department has held its Fireman’s Festival with one of the largest fireworks displays in the county.

SHEFFIELD — The Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will hold their Blast off Bingo at 318 South Main St., Sheffield on Friday, June 12 with doors opening at 5 p.m. and Bingo starting at 6 p.m. Prizes include cash and high dollar gift cards from Amazon, Walmart and more. Cost is $25 per person, BYOB. Popcorn and light refreshments will be provided. The Hogs on Dogs food truck will also be set up outside the hall for purchase. All profits will benefit the firework display at the 63rd Annual Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department Fireman’s Festival, which will be held July 30 to Aug. 2.
