Russell UMC to host BBQ Saturday

The Russell United Methodist Church will host a chicken barbecue from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday or until sold out. Dinners are drive-through only and cost $15 each, which includes a barbecued half-chicken prepared by the Russell Volunteer Fire Department, all homemade macaroni salad, baked beans and double chocolate fudge brownies. Proceeds will benefit the church. Pastor Bay Allen is pictured with a sign promoting the dinner.
