Breakfast reunion

The EHS Class of ’73 will be having breakfast at The Bucket Cafe in Sugar Grove at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Spouses, family and friends are welcome to attend.

Vegetarian Society meets

WESTFIELD, N.Y. — Spring is really here! Let’s take a break from gardening and yardwork to gather for our Chautauqua Vegetarian Society’s May meeting. The meeting will be Sunday, May 31, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Westfield YWCA.

Many people wish they could cut back on white sugar, but life is full of things to celebrate! That’s why Mary Zdrojewski will present this month on baking with natural sugar alternatives. She will share techniques and tips, recipes, and samples. All samples will be gluten free.

The meeting will include a Vegan potluck luncheon. Bring a Vegan dish to share (no meat, fish, eggs or dairy). The cost is $2 if you bring a dish or $6 without a dish.

So if you have friends who are looking for ways to cut back on sugar, make sure you invite them to the meeting!

Memorial service at church

Chandlers Valley United Methodist Church on Jackson Run Road, in Chandlers Valley, is inviting friends, family and neighbors of Priscilla Spencer who passed away in October 2025 to a memorial service in honor of our longtime friend at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Everyone is invited to come and share memories of Priscilla.

Singer coming to church

The Chandlers Valley United Methodist Church on Jackson Run in Chandlers Valley, is hosting Singer Dan Schall on Sunday, May 31 at 6 p.m. Schall Lives in Zelienople, with his wife Linda. His ministry focuses on encouraging others by sharing God’s love for man. Everyone is welcome to come and meet Schall and enjoy his wonderful ministry.
