Caregivers Support Group To Meet
The regular meeting of Caregivers Support Group-Warren will be Monday, May 18, at noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 PA. Ave. E., Warren. Enter the building via the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. This is a time of confidential discussion and sharing of concerns from caregivers. All caregivers and those interested in learning about Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related disorders are welcome and encouraged to attend. Free information from the Alzheimer’s Association is available as well as many books related to real-life situations. The support group meeting is open to the public. Blood drive scheduled for Tuesday
The Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell St., Warren. To donate, individuals must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.fourhearts.org or by calling Edinger at 814-596-3395. Walk-ins are also welcome, but scheduling an appointment ensures a smoother process for donors. Blood donations take about 45 minutes.
