The Philomel Club of Warren is accepting applications for its annual scholarships for students in fourth grade and older who are studying with a private music instructor. Scholarships are also available for students pursuing continuing education in music beyond high school or special community projects that meet Philomel goals.

Letters of application should include general information about the applicant (name, address, phone number, age/year in school), instrument(s) played, musical goals and accomplishments, how the scholarship will help them, and their private instructor’s name, address, and phone number.

College students should include the name of the school they are attending, their major and minor areas of study, instrument(s) played, musical goals and accomplishments, and how the scholarship will help them in their musical career.

Applications should be mailed to Elsa Redding, Philomel Scholarship Chair, 2194 E. Fifth Ave. Warren, PA 16365 or emailed to eredding4winds@gmail.com no later than April 10.
