Fundraiser and donations help strengthen library programs

The Warren Public Library celebrated a lively and successful fundraiser on Jan. 31, as over 150 community members gathered for the annual Books, Blues & Brews event.

“Thanks to that turnout, we exceeded our fundraising goal for programming,” said Executive Director Sara Edmiston.

The event, held from 7 to 10 p.m., featured live music, games, prizes and more. Guests also enjoyed a specially brewed beer by Wicked Warren, and desserts.

All proceeds from the evening go directly toward strengthening library services, expanding educational programs and supporting lifelong learning initiatives for residents of Warren.

“The additional funds raised will go straight into strengthening library services, helping us reach even more residents in the coming year,” said Edmiston.

The success of the fundraiser is part of a larger outpouring of community support for the Warren Public Library. Generous donations help sustain the library’s programs year-round.
