to hike Sunday

On Sunday, March 29, members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike at Game Lands 29 at Chapman Dam. Those attending should meet at 1:30 p.m. at Musante Street or 2 p.m. at the Game Lands 29 parking lot past the sled riding hill at Chapman State Park. This will be a 4 to 5 mile hike on GL 29 with some uphill portions and some bush whacking. Greg Burkett will be the leader.

WGH to host blood drive

Warren General Hospital will host a Community Blood Bank blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, April 6. To schedule an appointment call 814-596-3395. Appointments are encouraged to reduce wait times but are not required. Walk-ins will be taken as space allows.

Bridge league

winners announced

Monday evening at the YMCA in a non sanctioned game, Sharon Rissel and Vicky Laurie came in first with Chick Bello and Richard Woodruff in second. At the Woman’s Club on Tuesday, Nan Cashman was first and Peggy Morgan was second. Sherry Griffiths and Nan Cashman were first and second on Thursday at the Woman’s Club.
