to host egg hunt,

Palm Sunday breakfast

The First Methodist Church, 200 Market St., Warren will hold its Easter egg hunt and a Palm Sunday breakfast on Sunday March 29. The Palm Sunday Breakfast is from 8:15 to 9:30 a..m and the Easter egg hunt is immediately following the 10 a.m. service.

Caregiver Support Group

to meet Monday

The regular meeting of the Caregivers Support Group-Warren will be Monday, March 16, at noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. Those attending should enter the building via the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. Meetings are a time of confidential discussion and sharing of concerns from caregivers.

Discussion will center around the topics of “Navigating Hard Conversations” from the latest Alzheimer’s Today Magazine, copies of which will be available at the meeting. All caregivers and those interested in learning about Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related disorders are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Allegheny Outdoor Club

to hike Sunday

On Sunday, March 15, members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike at Akeley Swamp at State Game Lands 282 in Akeley. The group will meet at 2 p.m. at the trailhead on Old Route 62 across from Goldtown Road. The hike will be an out and back hike of 4 miles over flat land. Linda Ross will lead this hike.

Holy Redeemer

to host blood drive

The Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell St ,Warren. To donate, individuals must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.fourhearts.org or by calling Raven Edinger at 814-596-3395. Walk-ins are also welcome, but scheduling an appointment ensures a smoother process for donors.

Bridge results

Winner at Conewango on Feb. 20 was Phyllis Broadbent. Winners on March 6 were, first place, Marge Polito and second place Jill Dart.

Class luncheon

The Warren High School Class of 1956 will hold its monthly luncheon on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 302 Pub and Eatery, 302 Pennsylvania Ave. East.
