Outdoor Club to hike Sunday
FREWSBURG – Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike Sunday in Frewsburg, N.Y., on the Carroll Area Nature Trail. The group will meet at Lobbs Auto Service, 129 W. Main St., Frewsburg, at 2 p.m. Linda Ross is the leader for the hike.

winners announced
Monday evening at the YMCA, Chick Bello and Bill Kuppinger placed first with Shelley Dahlie and Richard Woodruff in second. At the Woman’s Club on Tuesday, Connie Michell came in first and Jo Simonsen was second. Nan Cashman and Susie Spangler were first and second on Thursday at the Woman’s Club.
Benefit for Avery
Dalrymple to be held March 1
There will be a benefit breakfast for Avery Dalrymple on Sunday, March 1, at the Eagles Club in Warren. The cost is $13 with all proceeds going towards medical and travel expenses as her recovery continues. There will be a 50/50 and basket raffles. To donate a basket, drop it off to Ashely at the Eagles Club.
HEROES group
to meet Saturday
The monthly meeting for HEROES, a support group for caregivers/families with individuals with any exceptionality, will take place on Feb. 21 at the Kinzua Youth Development Center. Dr. Paul A. Bensur Jr, will discuss autism, practical strategies, and a fresh perspective for families and caregivers. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. at 200 Struthers St., Warren. Purse Bingo Fundraiser
The Warren County Fair Queen Program will hold a designer purse bingo on Sunday, March 1, with doors opening at noon. Bingo starts at 1:30 p.m. at the county fairgrounds in Pittsfield. There will be Coach, Michael Kors and Kate Spade purses, basket raffles and a purse bundle game. There are 150 tickets on sale, online only. A $35 individual ticket includes 30 Bingo cards for 10 Bingo games and an entry for door prizes. A table of eight costs $240 and includes 30 Bingo cards per person for 10 games, and an entry for the door prizes per person. The designated table and person reserving it will be able to choose a hand-crafted leather purse from the Elie Handbags.
